    Super video on flounder. The only thing I would add is that you have better luck retrieving in the direction of the moving tide. Flounder lay on the bottom facing the current and swim up to ambush their prey.

    Hey you guys really put on a great display for the weekend warrior and also I picked up a few things I want admit it to my friends but I picked up a few things that I'm going to use in the tournaments in murrells inlet this year you guys come up and see us at Perry's or murrells inlet Outpost we got you off you guys come up there ask for Ned at the Outpost they have really step their game up as far as their great assortment of great tackle really amazing Rods just some outdoor where that you can't really get many places for the price that he's offering and also if some people want to go out and catch some wahoo Ned Kelly is probably the best wahoo fisherman in murrells inlet or in South Carolina! You guys are awesome thanks

    Jeff, once again a really well done, and informative video!! I noticed you put Pro Cure Shrimp Jell on your bucktail, scent yes, gel style...NO!! It makes a mess of the fur, instead, try the Pro Cure Water Soluable scents. It doesn't gum up the fur, or feathers, and the scent will stay on a fairly long time. It's what we use up here in Oregon for our Steelhead, and Salmon jigs. Give it a try, I think you'll like it!

    I’d like to see y’all fish back creek in Yorktown out to the Goodwin islands. There’s a decent boat launch at back creek park and you can also hit the mouth of the York river from there.

    Great vid! when I as fishing sabastain inlet in florida,they said flounder bite good when migrating out to ocean in november to spawn.I fished for them in the bay but did not catch one all week in september .Where do they hold up in the bay or rivers during or before spawn season?

    Nicely presented Jeff..I haven’t fished for flounder yet ..knee issue.. but hopefully this summer 2020. The fillets will be great in my freezer next to my Venison LOL..I fish off the Rhode Island coastline

    Have you ever thought of using the what I call weighted worm hooks for flounder specks and reds it minimizes the profile of the gulp shrimp and jerk shad

      Yes, be careful when you go out in the dark because sometimes they swim up and try to make you slip

    excellent instructional vid. is a single jig tied directly to main line? I thought any lure or jig requires a sival to prevent line twist especially on spinning reels.

      if no fish...keep moving....they are not there...you have to find them...my gulp gets destroyed by bluefish IF the flounder dont take it...keep working !!!
