Granted I am new to kayak fishing, I watched this video the night before I went out. Not only did I catch my 1st red, i landed almost 2 dozen in 1 day with 30 landed trout. I even threw a double rig and landed double reds twice ! I listened to your advice and had to tweak it a bit because our fishery is a little different and not so wide open . But I stumbled on the land of reds , and deep troughs at low tide for trout . You know you caught a lot of fish when your elbow is hurting and needs to be wrapped. Thx for the hard work and taking the time to help. Tight lines as always ...... and take care y'all 😏
Fished on the Mississippi for 10 years before I finally moved to Charleston. The fishing is so diverse out here and I've learned a ton from your videos. Thank you!
Finally! Someone talks about the seasonal movement, tactics and changes in methods when targeting a species. I wish everyone would do this because so much changes with the seasons. Thank you both very much. I’m amazed at the experience and understanding level you have and look forward towards more videos. If you write a saltwater book on seasonal fishing for inshore fishing it would be tremendous! Only downside is not as much fishing time for you. Keep them coming.
I just discovered you guys videos so I can't say I've put them into action yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Just bought a Key West 263 FS and I'm trying to get better at fishing the bay. My hope is to start taking out male role models and the young men they are mentoring; whether they be fathers, grand fathers, big brothers, or what have you. My hope is to eventually create a 501c3 endeavor to offer fishing trips to people who could not afford them otherwise. Now if I could just learn how to catch fish.... Thanks for the videos guys.
Hey guys, just wanted to say thank you for the awesome video. I’m here in Houston and slowly getting into saltwater fishing down in Galveston with my kayak. This video was super informative and answered a lot of questions. I haven’t looked through all your videos yet, but if you don’t have one available you should do one for us newbies about how to hook up all the lures and how they are supposed to look and things like that I know I would definitely enjoy it and I’m sure I speak for a few others who are new to the game? Thank you guys keep up the awesome work.
Honestly ever since you recommended the Berkeley Gulp Pearl whites... I’ve caught a lot of fish. Even a bonnet head shark surprisingly. I would go to the stores and NEVER know which brand or which color what tail to buy. I really enjoy the content. Keep it up. I actually would buy a book(preferably quick read pamphlets) if it’s under $15/10 bucks. Because I don’t always like rewatching the videos or searching I for the one I specifically wanted. 1Fiah2Fish and @ThresherFishing have helped a lot!
A lot of great points about technical aspects with bodies of water, water current, thermo, and flow. This stuff really translates for a lot more fishing than many will realize. Thanks for the candid info and keep up the good work!
thanks man, I have never seen an explanation of what a flat acutally is before and I was just asking someone last week what defines a 'flat' - Excellent video, much appreciated. I recently bought a 19 ft BW outrage and I am learning to fish for Reds and Trout I learned alot from you cheers
I love fishing around port Aransas, jetties and some small but large channels . I'm hoping to take what I've learned to the fish.thank you very much.bye

Thanks for all the information, I am trying to learn how to catch reds and how to make better videos for my channel and this definitely held me understand where and how to locate them. I can’t wait to get out to Crystal River and try my luck.
Thank you ,thank you. Took your advice and was able to catch my fair share of reds.... you got a subscriber and thank you again for your humble and informative spirit. My friends wanted to know how I know about Red fishing and I referred them to your channel.Take care.
Awesome video, i caught my first redfish Sunday. Which was well over the keeper size. All thanks to you, i got the Gulp Alive 4inch New Penny Shrimp. Got put on some nice trout as well while fishing the low tide around Huntington Island Beach here in South Carolina. Come back to Beaufort South Carolina id love to join you both for a day of fishing.
This video was very informative. I will be trying to catch some larger Reds this year. Caught my first 2 ever at Oregon Inlet back in the Fall. Thanks for the video.
Jeff and Chrissy, it just keeps getting better you guys are really coming along. Love the backdrop, photos and graphics. The layout of the equipment on the dock was excellent. Thank you for continuing to consider your subscribers . At the same time however, if you can put a book out there go for it! We'd love to see it as well as see you prosper. Don't forget the graphics and the pictures. I know you'll do well! Happy New Year. Dan🙂

Wife and I are looking to move in to the area from upstate NY. Your channel helps a lot whether you get the likes or not; your content is extremely informative which will be beneficial in the long run. Would love some insider info on land if you could message me about life around Wilmington, please and thanks!
Got several tidal creeks in my area here..... So I'm excited to fish those soon! Thanks for the awesome tips y'all! Please please make merch! Idk if you could how you could ask for one..... But a partner ship with Berkley gulp or Z Man or mirrolure would be cool I the future for your channel especially seeing as y'all are always promoting them! Lol anyways have an awesome week, and an awesome 2020!
What’s the general area you’re fishing Texas coast is pretty big. Just looking for recommendations. I haven’t fished the Texas coast in 40 years. We used to go out on party boats bay fishing. I live in central Texas close to Fort Hood. Recently got my first center console. Most of my experience is fresh water.
Love the videos! Have you found any colors of bucktails that work better? I know water conditions are a factor...just wondering if yall willing to share more secrets. Thanks again.
Great video...Why do I need to buy “Salt Strong” videos when you two provide excellent educational and fun videos. Always enjoy watching you guys provide all of us with great information.
