fun fact chul means iron so thats why he named kim chul shadow as iron. and i love that the anime still keeps little interactions between the shadows, they are so funny
19:35 In the manhwa they explain about this a little bit. Basically, Jinwoo understands the struggle of an E rank and see this girl as a reflection of his past. He wants to make sure this girl doesn't experience the same treatment as he was. Just as how the one-handed mage/swordsman become his mentor figure in his E rank time.
To add to this, he also does it because at that point she’d only been on raids with him, meaning her idea of a normal raid was just sitting outside and getting paid really good, he wanted to show her what a real dungeon was like so she didn’t think it’d be like his ones
About the beginning, the reason Jinwoo raised all ice bears and didn't even need to eliminate any other soldier is because his shadow storage keeps growing. Remember, he is always leveling up, which means automatically more points into his stats, including intelligence, which regulates storage. Also, you should recheck episode 1 of first season. The guild master turns into a tiger right at the beginning. About the end, Jinwoo still takes that girl along, because they still have to finish those raids they started last season and she is part of the strike team (btw, the job change quest and this red gate happened in the 2 or 3 days break between raids, but to us it was almost a year of waiting. 😅). I love your theories, keep them coming. Some have some sort of value, but, unless you read the manhwa, you'll just have to wait for more seasons and suffer to get the answers. 😈
19:00 She still needs to continue to join the raid to fulfill the contract she made with Jinho, which is to join the team to conquer 19 C-rank dungeons.
As a manhwa reader I have to restrain myself to comment on some of your take as it will be considered a major spoiler... But this is why I love your reaction guys, always on point regarding the circumstances, the logical reasoning and the implication of certain acts, not just about how cool or bad it is.
Thanks for such a nice comment! I think it's great to take in a show in as many aspects as you can grasp. We appreciate you having restraint but also giving some extra details that are left out from the anime!
There was a reason outside of just self defense that he killed hunter Chul and made him a shadow. Even with him and Igris fighting, they were struggling against the Ice Elf leader. If Hunter Chul had decided to help fight the ice elf, he wouldn't have killed him, but instead he put his selfish desire of vengeance for a perceived slight ahead of the safety of the group, and attacked Jin Wu in a cowardly fashion. Yes Jin Wu was strong enough to just knock out Hunter Chul, but that wouldn't have helped in his fight against the Ice Elf and if Jin Wu died so would the other 3 party members that he had promised to keep safe. Be well
Well for you question about Iron strengh you need to remember that once jin woo extract the shadow of anyone their shadow is weaker than when they were alive
You have to realize Kim chul was done for regardless. Remember, once the system recognizes murderous intent against the player, it's a wrap on that person. Jinwoo also knew he was going to need that tank.
Im amazed on your discussion. You guys are really paying attention. The girl is part of their C rank raid and it is not over so she is with them. Another thing to add, Jinwoo increase his "SEnse"stat thats why he can easily sense the elves even in stealth
18:56 He's not "keeping her around" She was already part of the raid team to raid 19 dungeons for Jinho to become a guild leader, remember they hired people tto just stand around and fill the head quota for a raid? Jinwoo just decided it'll be convenient to pick her up on the way as well, since she _is_ his sister's best friend and he wanted to check up on her after the red gate. Ya'll need to recall more stuff so to not confuse yourself in these irrelevant details. Edit: There's also non spoiler videos on extra information that answers most of ya'lls questions, bc they're not really kept secrets, just things left out from the novel. Like why Jinwoo cares for her well-being.
I really enjoy your theory crafting at the end of each episode, I will not confirm or deny any of them, but they are entertaining! P.S. Laughs in "Greed".
Peak, peaker, Solo Leveling. Nice Graham, that you picked up so fast on Jinwoo making Kim into a shadow, since it was only in the episode before that he was shown with a shield. 28:01 Kim's main weapon entering the gate is a double bite axe, with one of the bites being a blunt hammer, just it looks more "axe" in the anime. Which makes his appearance as a shadow a bit confusing. While it doesn't hurt the anime in the entertainment it leaves things out, AniNews gives good coverage per episode of what changed to the manhuwa/LN. I think when he makes one for this episode it will be worth a watch for you to see what was left out. Perhaps in the season2/episode 1 coverage AniNews gives inside on the question of why he keeps the sister's friend around. In any case, there are things you have to make a pin at and see where it goes.
Only an S rank can have a hope of fighting an S rank. And even then, it depends on their power level and maybe even class. Probably the only reason Hwang Dongsoo held back his punch when Chief Woo Jin-Chul intervened was because if Chief Woo was harmed, Chairman Go Gunhee would probably wipe the floor with him. If it was anybody else, he won't care. S-ranks are a law unto themselves in this world. Some S-ranks were basically kings in some countries because they are badly needed to prevent S-rank dungeonbreaks. Tradeoff for relative safety.

Why the girl is still around? Jinho's quest is still ongoing so the girl has a contract to fulfill.

You guys brings out so many plot possibilities. Ah I wish this show is longer so we can see these fleshed out 👍🏼

JeJu Island is the Result of a S-Rank Dungeon Break.
lots of great speculations/theorys looking forward to next episode with u guys
The fact that Jinwoo isn’t a E rank is now known means that he has no reason to not be re-tested.
Except it isn't know only few people know it and they don't know his rank since he wasn't tested
Too busy grinding to go update. Also the less eyes on him the better. At least until he's s rank.

I don't think he really care about Go Gunhee because not only he has better back up he also is the strongest S rank except for the national rank
Sad they didnt show jin naming the bear leader. He is named tank.
That comes later... Spoiler.
@@Chrisfragger1 yeah i thought it was skipped. but they already watched the next episode so its not one anymore.

SJW and his lazy naming. The facepalm I did much later on in the story. You will feel my pain.
