Piggybacking off of Jinwoo's success is the entire point of Jinho and Jinwoo's business relationship. Jinwoo gets paid a shit load of money and gets to level up in dungeons and Jinho gets all the credit so he can become a guild leader. Song-Yi, on the other hand, was only there at all because Jinwoo asked her to be. Presumably, the three of them are headed to the White Tigers at the end of the episode. Song-Yi is there because she was a witness to what happened in there. Jinho is tagging along because the White Tigers are undoubtedly going to try and recruit Jinwoo who currently works for him.
Just to explain a details you missed in this episode but the readers of the manhwa knows, Jin Woo didn't kill Kim just because he tried to kill him, but if you read carefully the what he was saying, you will notice that he thought he needed more man power to win and than he noticed the sword of Kim, he than used his attack to Barok to send the sword to Kim so he can attack him. That's why Kim said that Jin Woo know he would attack him and that's also why just before Kim attacked him, he (Jin woo) said that he used the mage attack to "buy some times" for Kim to attack and than Igris used the snow so that the humans doesn't see Jin Woo kill and Arise Kim. I do like the way they adapted the manhwa, but there is a very important scene they cut out that i would have prefered if they didnt cut... Kim's sword next to Jinwoo during the fight against Barouk, he intentionally kicks it over toward Kim to provoke Kim to attack him so Jinwoo can justify killing him. In my opinion, that scene show in which direction Jinwoo's character is developing.
They did the same in S1 too when he killed the B rank hunter. That would have shown his darker side earlier on but I think they are trying to make him less dark compared to Manhwa.
@@unnirajac8617 Yes that's why I thought that they are triyng to make him less dark. (for the children maybe?) Felt like you guys missed that, hahah. Great video as usual =]
Interesting fact, in the Manhwa Jin-Woo actually kicks the sword over to Kim, knowing he will run to attack him. Basically setting it up. They hint to it in this episode where Jin-Woo looks at the sword sticking out of the ground from where he kicked him over, and saying he needed more power. And then it shows the sword next to him laying on the ground where it was never over there when he was originally got kicked. Just food for thought

With Kim Chul take into account he broke out of fear and ran from battle, and Lost his squad. Then he Projected the blame for the loss since he seemed too arrogant to take the blame himself (after earlier guaranteeing the safety of those with him) . On top of that he was likely awake for the 3 days in freezing cold weather. Traumatized, frost bitten, sleep deprived. All combined it broke him when he saw the low rankers having a fun cookout and telling jokes.

You said you don't remember President Baek from Season 1. Remember the guy on the interview? And the guy who was not sweating yet after "warming up" by destroying a MASSIVE block of concrete? All the same guy. :)
so Carlies thoughts at the end about them "leeching off Jinwoo", Jinho definitely does in some way, it was established in S1 that he want's to be Guild Leader and for that he needs Raids under his belt, which he made a deal about with Jinwoo (the 19 gates they went in alone), but i don't think it can be considered leeching if it was a deal that was conciously made on both sides. His Family is a Business Family after all. After the whole Spider Gate debacle he also wanted to be save around that dude that's definitely not an E-Rank (stories about false rankers, who are some of the worst people on the planet are coursing around everywhere) Song-Yi definitely got "rizzed up" (taking Anges words here). Jinwoo want's her to stop being a Hunter without telling her off, as his Sisters Best Friend she probably is like a Sister to him too (which explains the ending about him not even having a thought about her being underage, no correlation to him). I doubt she want's to leech off of him, more like she wants to be close to him, as many people would with their Crush. I read the Manhwa so i know how stuff is going from here, but as should be obvious i don't include anything that isn't said or shown in any way
the glitch with Barca when Jinwoo asked him why he was fighting humans is actually foreshadowing for the origin of the magic beasts. I'll advise you remember that
So, the English subs were woefully inadequate in expressing the tonal shift from Song Yi. She went from calling him Onii-san to Jinwoo-kun. She had no romantic interest in him before and is now proactively trying to elevate herself into the potential girlfriend pool. That’s why Jin Ho reacted that way.
That’s literally the whole point of there relationship and was already established last season jinho gets the credit jinwoo gets the money and is able to keep his power under the radar
Something that I think was better covered in the Manwha was Kim was very arrogant as a new A Rank hunter and saw this raid as his chance to prove himself for the strike team. When everyone got stranded in the red gate, he split the group in 2 because he thought the lower ranked hunters were dead weight. Kim literally LEFT THEM TO DIE because he thought they would get in the way. To then see his whole squad destroyed only for the “weaklings” to be safe a cozy infuriated him and hurt his pride. Kim immediately assumed Jin Woo left the “A squad” for dead because that’s what Kim did to lower ranks. So between his arrogance, pride, humiliation, and desperation he lost control and all his anger was centered on the person he was actually just jealous of, Sung Jin Woo
Always here for the new cover, so good! 😍 I know you generally don't do it for endings but damn if you could do it for the ending too, this one is too good 🙌🙌
@@Someone-dg8qt I think it will end at Jin entering the island , even if the fight was animated this season I would be happy but I was talking about seeing Beru core and funny moments will be in S3 noy this season
It seems like being converted into a shadow doesnt fully strip personality or agency from an individual or monster. Igris still seems to be able to more or less make his own calls in a fight he just chooses to only act on orders (aside from attacking Kim Chul that seemed relatively unprompted), and Iron (formerly Kim) still seems to have a bit of a prideful arrogant streak such as when he kept hitting the dead Elf King likely as a final F you for killing me and making me respawn AGAIN.
Kim Chul is the sort of person who thinks he's better than others and that anyone that's "to weak" is useless to him. That sort of haughty thinking plus the situation he found himself in revealed his true, selfish nature. He was a shit leader and tried to kill Jinwoo's group 3 times, he doesn't get to complain about getting stabbed. Plus, he's technically not dead either as Jinwoo ressurrected him as an immortal shadow soldier.

I doubt she want's to leech off of him, more like she wants to be close to him, as many people would with their Crush.
I read the Manhwa so i know how stuff is going from here, but as should be obvious i don't include anything that isn't said or shown in any way
14:56 Carlie, you should be a lawyer 😂
Finally reaction is here ❤❤ Thank u guys 😭😭😭
12:06 not the police lights 😂
Whoever edited this, good job 😂😂😂 I was laughing so hard when the Mastery 7 symbol was popping up...
the glitch with Barca when Jinwoo asked him why he was fighting humans is actually foreshadowing for the origin of the magic beasts. I'll advise you remember that
Never get tired of these covers Ange does
So, the English subs were woefully inadequate in expressing the tonal shift from Song Yi.
You gonna see and love more of jinwoo shadow dynamics
Yes yes, I can't wait to see more of them!!
the man is aura farming and sister friend farming the whole episode
ive been waiting for this reaction! this season in already incredibly. and im glad i havent read the manga so everything still comes as a surprise!
The mastery 7 emote over Jinwoo's head caught me so off guard and had me dying with laughter!!
I think that's a comment whoever edited this would like :
The mastery 7 flex at 4:30 made me giggle way too much for what it is. Good job.
Always here for the new cover, so good! 😍 I know you generally don't do it for endings but damn if you could do it for the ending too, this one is too good 🙌🙌
Pretty calm reaction..for this banger EP 🥸
Can't wait for all the silly shadow interactions to get animated!
I like the fact you liked Iron and Igris, just wait to see Beru in S3
Jeju island will be adapted this season
You really think we're not gonna get Beru in s2? 😂
Don't make me laugh
@Someone-dg8qt it's not confirmed but if we keep this pacing we will definitely see our goat 😅
@@Someone-dg8qt I think it will end at Jin entering the island , even if the fight was animated this season I would be happy but I was talking about seeing Beru core and funny moments will be in S3 noy this season
Just so you know as a manhwa reader this season is gonna BREAK THE INTERNET with its unexpected finale.
Also are you guys gonna check out sakamoto days?
bro went from Sister Leveling to Sister's Friend Leveling 🔥🔥
If you love iron now, can't wait for you guys to meet Beru HAHA he's awesome!! Love your reactions!!
Yesssir! Was waiting on this!
Fire op cover as always, Ange! love from the PH! ❤️🇵🇭
GREAT cover, as usual, Ange. 🎸 🔥
4:20 that moment you find out Carlie is cultured.
The ending was peak comedy 🤣
The deeper his voice the stronger he gets..
Rizz Monarch is here!
Kim was mad he went through hell while the others were having a good time camping 😂
Jinwoo: King
Igris: Champion
Iron: Berserker
4:31 the mastery 7 emote killed me 😂
Yo your guitar skills are crazy holy cow 🔥🔥
Yeah I almost couldn’t recover when he ran the 1v1 before the boss😭 I walked around for a minute.
Jinwoo's build is so Op, int type necromancee with zero second cast time 😂
IMAGINE being made an eternal slave to the guy who killed you which also you despised too. Straight up Diabolical
lmao the yasuo m7 reference at 04:31 got me haha
Iron taunt was fire,I feel if iron didn't have the taunt ability this fight might of gone another direction
9:44 No spoilers of course, but there are so many HILARIOUS moments with the Shadows😂😂 I hope they don’t cut any - just you wait
Thank you so much for the reaction! It would be great if for such series where there is a lot of action and important details you would cut less, because here a moment on a moment is just marvelous. I know that there is a copyright however I see a lot of your YT react coworkers not cutting it much.. That would be cool if possible. Have a nice day
did you know that iron was inside trying to kill jin woo and greed was outside the gate doing the same but left because he couldn't even get to see him. (no spoilers)
Вступления просто огонь!!! И обзор на серию! Спасибо вам =)
letss gooo finally favorite reacters dropping the reaction 🔥
8:24 Slayers worth no more than a minion 😭😭😭
this ep was actually so fire. i forgot
Sung jin woo is soo 🔥
In Korean "Chul" can be translated into "Iron"
Cover is awesome as always Ange. Also love your Karasuno shirt XD is there anything on the back of it?
why are all the fire S2s releasing now
both apothecary and this is peak
Prop for the editor who put the master on top of Jin woo 😂😂🎉
3:42 there is supposed to be a 4 count by Jinwoo here.
Really love your reactions. You guys hopefully watch the sakamoto days too. Its just came out just like solo leveling. I really think you are gonna like it.
Love yall reactions and cant wait to watch alongside you❤❤. Next episode is gonna be peak for a reason you might now think🫢🫢
Also one thing in the manhwa jinwoo throws the A ranks sword to him beacuse he knows he would fight him
Igris ain't celebrating anything he got class😂😂😂
Igris just walking away, I picture him shaking his head while doing so 😂
12:14 finally! I swear people only see what they want to see. I knew you guys wouldn't make such assumptions. Jinwoo isn't a creep, he's not even interested in finding a girl right now and he wouldn't even look at a minor in that way.
my theory after this episode is that this is a game/simulation and these things are either bugs or AI
and mc when he died he was kinda cloned as an AI?
ik its very raw and wrong theory but im looking in that direction with mc being a "player" and the elf glitching out
