The skill Shadow Extraction takes the mana from the deceased and makes a shadow soldier with it, while Shadow Storage allows Jinwoo to store those soldiers within his own shadow (the number he can Store is always less than the number he can Extract). Neither skill takes mana from Jinwoo, however mana is required to regenerate the soldiers if they are damaged. When Jinwoo ran out of mana, all the defeated soldiers returned to his shadow until he has enough mana to regenerate their bodies. If a shadow isn't severely injured, it could fight even when Jinwoo is out of mana i.e. Igris. The number of shadows the Jinwoo can Extract and Store is based on his INT stat, so the higher he raises that stat....
Wow, they cut a few things on this first episode, but it looks really good. Like in the beginning, in the manhwa, we actually see what Jinwoo looks like when he's waking up.😂 He actually stops by the bank to get some money for new clothes and to get the haircut. Another scene is when the vengeful brother is in the car and he's commenting how he didn't really care for his brother or going to his funeral. He just wanted to kill Jinwoo and Jinho. Other scene shows Jinwoo doing his daily quests before going to the bears because it would be bad if he was teleported and left the others on their own. And when that elf does that hand gesture, Jinwoo gets really pissed off and thinks that elf will be the first to die. 😅
I really liked the lighting choice in the airport with Hwang Dongsoo (Dong suck) and Woo Jinchul (A-Rank) from the Korean Hunters Association. Naming: Why make up new names if people will call it what they are familiar with. Fits the world building. Just a reminder when Jinwoo defeated Igris, he was rewarded with a helm of S-Rank rarity.
My understanding of bear meat is that its mostly a matter of the bears diet. Black bears have good meat because they don't tend to eat carrion (dead and rotting animal carcasses) were as brown bears (grizzly bears) will eat just about anything.
They mentionned redgates in passing in season 1, but never explained it. The Op is not safe to watch, but the Ed is. If you want to react to the Op, I don't think it will spoil too much, but it might give some designs and hints for future arcs.
On your wild meat discussion. Which made meat from wildlife to be feared in some respect. What you get in a super market like deer is "domesticated" and veterinary controlled. Omnivores and Carnivores are more likely to be infected with trichinella, which when the meat isn't treated like with cooking is problematic for humans because they will be a host for these parasite. However regular hunted wildlife like boar's meat goes through an examination first to make sure it is ok. Only if you would hunt for yourself and have no qualification what to look for, you could have a problem.
