I can attest to this 5:51
I am white. I am so poor right now, that we are facing eviction AGAIN (1st time was during the covid unemployment debacle in PA), and have a raising funds thing up right now because until we catch up, he wont give us a new lease to sign. We have lived here over a decade. We are poor because i have a disability that keeps me bed ridden 90% of everyday. This disability, despite being known about by the medical community for nearly 100 years is NOT on the approved medical conditions list for SSDI leading me to being denied FOUR TIMES over 8 YEARS the benefits i PAID INTO for the 24 years I was able to work. While people who can’t work but function in life 10000000x more than i can get approved left and right. THAT is why we are poor. The loss of my income and the disgrace that is social security disability thar no one wants to fix even thinks needs fixing.
To make matters worse, we were almost caught up in february when we got hit by a 2 punch fu by life.
My spouse lost his job (hes approaching 60, getting a job with just a hs diploma is not easy at his age because he can no longer do the labor req. by jobs he once did) AND the new tax laws ut his refund from over 2500 to less than 500. He lost the child tax credit and the credit he got from taking care of me. AFTER we had promised that money to our landlord (they flagged his return, amended it and changed the refund amount). So our landlord accused us of lying (we did not) and sent a 15 day notice to evict. Thankfully we got a donation to cool him off, but we have raise the amount needed AGAIN because my spouse is still job hunting, until he find employment we cannot afford this place which is $500 MINIMUM cheaper than anything else available (again, been here 12 years so rent price reflects that). So we have no where to go, we cannot afford anything AT ALL right now, have no money to move, pay for help packing because he could not do it on his own, no down payment because every dime has gone to the landlord and we DO NOT WANT to leave our home of 10+ years. Our neighbors who help us, that we help in return. All because I got sick.
I have done everything i can to try to earn money. But all i can do is youtube. But my subject is niche, it doesn’t grow, UA-cam limits its growth and its not for everyone but cmon youre gonna tell me with the billion people on youtube that only 1k are interested in my niche subject? No thats youtube messing with the content.
Living in bed, you have no sleep schedule. Your meds can cause a crash, too. I cannot guarantee i will be awake at any specific time, i need minimum 4 days off a month for doctor appts. And will need sick days from day one. That equals UNABLE to obtain and maintain gainful employment…ie the qualifier for disability. Not to mention having to live in bed.
But i try everything i can to push myself to try to EARN money…but im lucky to get 1-3 CENTS on a 2 hour stream. Its disheartening. But i love doing this so i do it for the love of my channel, subject and community rather than the need for money.
Im saying all this because FOR YEARS i have watched these entitled children and young adults scream about being oppressed because of people like me. My skin color has nothingg to do with my situation or yours. Yet the ones screaming the most seem to be WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY MORE WELL OFF THAN I. The only group that is consistently equal to poor is the disabled because we are UNABLE TO WORK. But even then, not all disabled people are UNABLE to work. Some can. But those of us who cannot, unless we have a spouse with a great income, are screwed. Even if you win disability, the most you are getting is $1000 a month…$833 where i am which doesn’t even pay rent. So typically the disabled are more poor than any race…which includes ALL races. This disgusting division sowed by the left needs to stop. Our race has nothing to do with our lives in America UNLESS YOU LET IT BE THE REASON. No one cares about skin color. But to repeatedly hear that I, ME, an advantaged in any way just because im white? Its laughable at best and infuriating at worst.
Im sorry for the long comment and back story. I felt it was needed to understand why i get so angry at these kids that look like they are flat out RICH compared to me, the guy in his suit being invited on podcasts proud that he has only invited black people to the theater (he says poor but then goes on to specify only black poor so screw any other poor people! Not that id want to go to the theater but you get the point), while i lay in my sagging bed in clothes that are 5-20 years old, with holes in them, stained and faded. Its RIDICULOUS for someone like me to see people in nice clothes, with their hair done, expensive jewelry, makeup, sitting in a car (a car is a necessity for someone like me, ours was totaled 1/2022 so no car here either) saying that ALL WHITE PEOPLE are oppressors. Including the ones living on the streets! Entitled brats, that is what they are. Brainwashed by entitled brat professors, entitled parents, but more importantly the media and the government that told them they were victims because of their skin color and….because its much easier to be a victim instead of questioning their motives and the truth…they bought the grift hook line & sinker! FREAKING INFURIATING.
Lol again im sorry, when i get upset, i rant a bit. If you read all of that, wow, thank you are amazing. ⭐️🤗💕

There’s a recent obsession to create and promote fiction/nonfiction movies, media and educate about the historical past where people did not behave well to each other. It was so long ago, and people now had and will have very little to do with it, but people feel the past has been swept under the rug for too long and there is a psychosocial event where they wish to retaliate or I like to call it “retroretaliate” (which means you retaliate many generations later and assume because of their race it was indeed someone’s ancestors that did something unkind to your ancestors).

There’s really this misconception that all white people are rich. I promise you that we’re not. I grew up as trailer trash in rural Oklahoma, so I swore to myself that I would never be poor again when I grew up. I waited until I was 28 to get married after dating for 6 years. I bought a home and got married before I had a child. I made better decisions than my father did and now I’m comfortable lower middle class. I don’t live paycheck to paycheck anymore because I live below my means so that I can save money. My daughter was born with autism and I’m fortunately able to afford the $600 a month for her ABA therapy, giving her the best chance in life. Had I chosen to buy a huge house, luxury car, and overpriced clothes, I wouldn’t have been able to provide my daughter with the medical attention that she requires. I would have failed my daughter. Now, with the rate of inflation, idk how much longer I’ll be able to live like this, but as of now, making good decisions will lift you out of poverty. I don’t have a college degree, but I do fine.

If we were to watch this exact same video along with the countless others I've seen and instead of a young black woman making the video there was a young white woman saying the exact same words it would be taken down that woman would be labeled as a racist and God knows what other consequences she would have to deal with bc of it.
These videos that are being put up by these women show just how open and proud they are to be racist.

Non black people have always had the privilege of belittling black people even publicly. So it’s only logical that in a time where anything can be said on line, lies are now being told as truth, and right is wrong that those who feel oppressed should try to uplift themselves by bringing someone else down.

Listen I oppose the leftists goal for sure. It’s cancer. But it’s a little rich saying that you are “sick of” being discriminated against considering just how much worse discrimination has been in the past.
Unless you have been personally victimized, most white people should only feel concerned for where the country is going, and most white people haven’t been discriminated against in their day to day lives in any meaningful way.
If the entire nation mandated didcrimwtion against most white people, then I could see how people could realistically say “I’m sick of being discriminated against”.
But the discrimination against some white people is pretty soft by historical standards. Doesn’t mean it’s right and it should be stopped asap. Cause it’s wrong.. but seriously, the only white people who can unironically say they are sick of being discriminated against are those who lost their place at colleges. Or those who wanted to go to the black only plays who got removed by force. And that’s literally only 0.0001% of the population,
And maybe poor white people in certain black dominated areas who are being ostracized and disregarded can start to also complain.
But if you aren’t any of those people, just say that you’re concerned or it’s sad thag others might be getting discriminated.

I’m white and grew up having been in foster care and then placed in my grandparents home. I was neglected and abused in their care and rehomed at 17 with my aunt who took great care of me for the last couple years of my childhood. My bf is Hispanic and grew up with both of his parents. They were poor when he was little but thankfully his parents worked hard, started their own company, and made great lives for their family. He was loved, spoiled, and always considered. I’m definitely not here to say woe is me, but the things people think are privilege in our society aren’t really what true privilege is, and skin color certainly does not mean one will have it. In consideration to both of our lives, even though I’m white, my boyfriend was much more privileged than me. And I’m also not resentful of that, I’m glad he was able to receive those privileges! He’s a wonderful hard working man who extended these privileges to me through having a family that loves me and wants to spoil me, he has a great job bc his parents put him through college, and I know he’s going to be a great dad.

Please stop saying "they" like that. That's part of the issue on both sides. We're all just human. And secondly the black community is actually pretty split up on this bs. Not all of us hate white people or think anything close to those in the video(those of us with common sense). Hell it's so bad it's caused a rift in the black community to where we have the whole colorism issue(I'm mixed so I've directly dealt with and experienced this) where black folks are literally being racist to other black folks based on how light they are. I've literally been told before my blood is tainted with "white devils blood"....

Privilege is relative. I myself am privileged, in the sense that I am safe, intelligent, and charismatic. That's a very astute observation. Privelege is relative, and you can have a lot and very little at the same time depending on the metric you're using. I'm also incredibly privileged in some ways and incredibly disadvantaged in others. A more holistic understanding of people prevents you from falling into cartoonist, reductionist, two dimensional ideas about other people like what this victim monger was spouting.

Things have gotten wilded. We just moved out of an awful apartment complex. My daughter was taking the dog out one day. She walked by a group of black girls. The younges, who was maybe seven years old, loudly said "I'm sick to death of these nasty white people in this complex". In our building, we were one of three white families. Each building has around 30 units. When my 11 year old came back in, she wasn't mad at this little girl. She said I can't believe that cute little girl is being filled with hate for no reason. She is so young and doesn't know me, but she hates me only because I'm white. My daughter calls a black family friend her Aunt because she loves her and told me and my husband she feels more like family. My baby girls black Auntie was ready to tear up that seven year old and her racist mother. I had to talk her down. Lol Shit is getting crazy 🤪. Mlk would be spinning in his grave with the insane backward nonsense that's going on.

I get some of that where I live. I think I'm the only white woman in this neighborhood, not sure. But, I'm in a large apt bldg that's mostly elderly, & we've always gotten along fine. But some of these younger ones seem rather rude & nasty for some unknown reason. Some of the younger ones are perfectly fine too. But even a few of the black people here, no matter their age, tend to feel uncomfortable at times, just like me, with the neighborhood, because the teens & pre teens are stirring up drama, then shots are fired, & somebody is injured or killed......I NEVER had issues like this in a mostly white neighborhood. What is going on with these kids? Their parents must be ticking time bombs. They must be learning these attitudes from older family, or family friends.

When I was a child, we were very poor. My dad was a janitor and there were 5 of us kids. My mom's first husband abused her and wouldn't pay child support after the divorce, so when my dad came into her life he worked 3 jobs and supported my 3 half siblings as if they were his own.
We grew up in Boston and on Fridays the museums had free or super cheap family nights. Mom would take us so we could see there was more in the world than the projects. Then Boston did "Summerthing" which was free outdoor art events and how I saw my first ballet. Those discounted and free events made the difference in my and my siblings lives and helped us aspire to a achieve more.
But there was no racial criteria. They didnt even ask you to prove you were poor. They just made theater, museums, aquariums, and zoos more accessible to more people and advertised it widely.
So that's one way. Just not a popular way these days, I guess.
