Daniel larruso
I really like how Justin explains all the movements this kid is great!
Justin is one of the few who, shows the kata, breaks it down into steps, goes through all of the steps, then does the full dress rehearsal ( if you will) great video. Not to mention he's going places.
The best and simplest tutorial. Thanks!
My favorite move when I was a young whipper snapper. I called it the mule kick. Very powerful if done right. Usually a counter kick but if practiced enough with an emphasis on speed you can lead with it, but not all the time. When an experienced opponent see’s your head and shoulders start to turn they know what’s coming next and react accordingly. My technique was to delay the upper body turn long enough to get my lower half positioned and even starting the kick BEFORE the head & shoulders start turning. It’s NOT a spin side kick where the knee is up in the air. It’s a spin back kick where the knee is pointing downward and never rises above the waist until full extension. That’s where the speed of delivery comes in. My instructor hated it, but it worked for me. Stay well
a kid i knew in elementary school would kick backwards and try to hyperextend peoples knees calling it the mule kick. he ended up breaking my kneecap that fat fuck. at least i know i could kick his ass now😂

A technical mule kick is when on hands and knees and then performing a back kick
It's cool how this vid is just straight to the point
I've been throwing this kick since I was a child, recently I just taught my 7 year old this kick, he sucks this stuff up like a sponge. It's so fun working with him, he's absolutely enthralled with martial arts.
Perfect breakdown Justin!
Sounds like a Prodigy
Can relate , I've been doing this ever since i was a fetus
Although I'm a boxer, I learned this kick, my alternate weapon if necessary 😁
My alternative weapon is me supporting the NRA. 😏
My mans said alternate weapon 😂
You should also add the side kick and roundhouse, they’re easier to learn than the spinning back kick and they’re great tools 💯

Very wise decision! Now all you need to do is learn how to shoot for a double leg takedown, which is also very simple, and you'll be that much closer to being a well rounded fighter!
This war exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
Nice tip/ reminder. Thanks 🙏
This immediately helped me
Good video, very clear tutorial.
Thank you for the video!
Nicely Explained. Thank You So very much..
U taught it so easy 👍🏽
That's a good technique.
good video ty
It is my Destiny to master this move
Excellent.
Thank you
Thank you so much.😊
Most effective kick after mai geri. Great kicks sir! Nice tutorial
Good thing I'm a horse this kick comes naturally to me.
Neigh
when he kicked at last, I checked if my video was 1.5x speed, damn, it wasn't
Great 👌 👍
Good job
My man is a Bad Ass!!! - good job
Hello from the past my dudes (31bc)
Nice
thanks man, didn't get the jump part
WwwwhhhhAatttttsss Gooood J.O
That's what you can do when you focus the power of THE GRIMACE!
Dam I thought I had a great spinning kick, but this just advanced it
Can someone explain what's the point of jumping? When I do a back kick while standing, I get a lot more power when kicking. I just don't see the point of jumping.
*To assert Dominance*
Potential to go a lot lot quicker :) If done correctly you can also control the distance very creatively. My observation and experience.
Where do I go to learn martial arts
Yes, there is the geometry-in-motion factor in martial arts, aka the martial sciences. BTW, being that a human's first instinct, when attacked, is to turn his/her back (FOR PROTECTION), knowing how to kick like a donkey is essential.
👍👍👍
First time showing the real spin back kick
👍
Mistar MiYaGi !
Clearly :)
This is my favorate move to counter iattack n any street fighting spinning back kick is deadly the empact is very high
Ya I would never throw a back kick in a street fight.
1.) if you miss you’re fucked
2.) if you land you’ll *seriously* injure someone to the point of legal issues, for sure.
My favorite move in a street fight is concealed carry. Bet it's more effective than a spinning back kick.
@@ipfreely5052 depends on the range
@@CableReadyTechnoSIut Good point bruh.

You all ever test this in sparing?
Brendan Abrams yeah but it has to be fast and set up usually some jabs to get the hands up then shoot the kick I try to focus on speed and extending the leg all the way for torque that wasn’t emphasized in the video but set up with punches to get the hands up then send it when I’m tired I miss so use it when you’re fresh don’t wait til you’re tired
It can cause death if you attack using that move in groin, skull, throat, jaw etc
Master justin dont take otherwise, but that first turn and hump and kick will not be easier for your opponent to escape??
I felt dizzy practicing this kick because you really have to spin fast your head first to target the kick
spinning back kick with daniel lurusso
Wow that kick could actually kill a person
Old comment, but yeah this is excatly or pretty much the technique I learned and mastered on my own to throw a back heel as fast as possible with high power. I add a little jump whenever I back heel. Even with straight forward kick I add just a small jump forward in the movement and kick goes faster, but practice carefully in order to keep yo balance In the start.( Ex Friend can't keep balance with straight kick if he jumps forward even tho he was green belt in TKD)But I always succeed with these both perfectly.
And stretching legs on top of the balance skill requirement.
He sounds like daniel la russo from cobra kai
You mean karate kid
I think that is more of a jump spinning side kick. he outer edge of the foot is the one impacting on the target. let the heel of the foot impact the target and your toes are downwards and you are doing jump spinning back kick technically.
Thank you for actually knowing that
Konoha Sempuuuu
lol at the end you made the kick as you initially described it as wrong.
Why there a sign that says Century, take it down and replace with either LaRuso Auto group or Miyagi Do
How to fight manwha anyone?
Where is Justin Ortiz now? Is he still doing Martial Arts.
#rahatmahotra
Now do it fluently in a combination creating the opening to do it and do it from inside their stricking range.
@Cliven Longsight .... Ok?
@Cliven Longsight ROFLMAO no no, you derived that from my comment because you just wanted to comment. I spent 15 years in kickboxing and Muay Thai, my favorite kick is a spinning back or side kick from a clinched position. I prefer jumping but either is good for lowering the guard after landing 2-3 of them. I am 36 now an ARMY Vetran, I am heavier but still lay hate on my heavy bag. I know this guy was just showing the basics to properly land a spinning kick because amatures have trouble remebering to put their eyes on the target first.
Your comment was off by a lot, but thanks any ways for trying.
@Cliven Longsight was it the writer or perhaps the reader? Either way you've got some good mental gymnastics going on.
Ouchee my mid-sectionee.
Just like Conor
You sound like daniel larusso
Who came here BCZ OF Rambo kick

Osu
Justin ortiz , when people jump more earlier in the jump u get more momentum following the hit , making the second the opponent freezes to understand what ur doing worth the doing.
PIVOTTT
Funny when he does it on the ground he does the back kick with his hips and his knees pointed towards the ground. But when he does it jumping he rotates a quarter-turn more and does a sidekick completely completely wrong!
My teacher learned from Grandmaster Tae E. Lee. I learned Olympic style fighting and fought competitively for many years and have been in many thousands of fights. I have been teaching where I live for 8 years now, but have been doing martial arts, in many styles for 26 years.
Cool
Oh YES...that works as surely as baby rabbits...........unless you meet someone who's *>>>>>>>FASTER
What kinda people do you encounter in a daily.basis? Fuckin big foot?
Uhhh. What do I do when the attacker has arms?
Man I feel bad for the guy that knows how to fight see that Setup side step to the left with a vicious hook coming
A Lee. Yes yes. And we see your set up from his set up. Big mouth.
Did anyone else notice how flat his heels are
