WHAAAT!?!?! It's safe to say this is one of the biggest breakthroughs in sound design and music production, since the dawn of synthesis in general. Beyond ground-breaking. Magnus Lidström, you are a bona fide pioneer and a living legend. Seriously!! You deserve the highest awards and accolades for accomplishing this genopatch tech. I've been producing music for about 37 years so far. And just when I thought I'd just about seen and heard it all, in music technology... Even as I watch the video, see and hear it working, I can't believe this is real life - let alone begin to wrap my head around how you managed to pull this off. Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor... Just WOW!
Whoa... I love that it gives the ability to look at how it replicated the sound. Which lets you learn new techniques for sounds you might make in the future on other synths! Crazy!
genopatch is unbelievable. A more complex synth engine with that AI implementation would probably be able to render any sound you want based on any reference audio. Magnus made an incredible work here
I can imagine using this tech to “freeze” a sample when you’re out of space on your groove box so u can just turn it into a synth patch that takes up negligible ram bits 😮 Nice coverage cuckoo!
That would be a great idea... A way to turn all your samples into this format, so you save those instead of the full sample. Splice better be listening lol
Effing brilliant. Magnus is a genius. SO FUN. And the AI... amazing! Really looking forward to getting my hands on this. Thank you Cuckoo for the share!
