this video helped me I just did my first hair cut , It probably not the best one , but it worked I also liked the fact that the dude told us what number he had on top (3) most videos don't start like that they just begin doing the fade..
Watched ALOT of vids for fades and this is definitely the best one I've watched. Thank you very much from an apprentice hairdresser who is keen to be good at fades 😊
+Chretien Gerada Is there a reason why you chose to set a guideline with your 0guard? Do you find that theres a better transition when you include 0guard guideline as opposed to jumping from clipper open to 1guard open?
Yes I do feel that there is a better transition. I feel as if it portrays a more "blurry" blend as some would say rather than the traditional blend which is more solidified. Personally, it makes the blend longer and more gradient for me.
Yeah, of course your barber can. It's just a matter of preference and if there are any hairs still on the bottom. I use the electric razor first then that straight blade if there are hairs that the electric razor doesn't get, but if the client's skin is sensitive i might not even use either. It all just depends on which tool gets the closest shave. Hope this helps!
What's the difference between the wahl balding clipper and the andis outliner to bald the head first. Would you recommend buying both wahl balding & a t outliner ? Just wondering thanks & keep up with your videos they help us out.
Thanks for the upload. You have the same clippers i have. I a beginner and just bought some clippers so i can learn how to cut hair. this video has been super helpful. thanks
nice video would like to see more hair cutting videos can you do one with only oster fast feed thats really all i got at the moment and the andis magnetic guards just starting out greatly appreciated keep doing what you're doing
+the one and only when I first started I just used a pair of Wahl designers. Clippers aren't that expensive. Look to buy on eBay or Amazon. They're a lot cheaper online. Or Craigslist.
I'll do a video on that bro. The reason why me and others do it is because it is what suits the individual the best. its what they are most comfortable with. When you're a barber you obtain an arsenal of clippers and trimmers that compliment you and give you the best possible haircut possible. And most times you actually need at least2 clippers. one to cut and one to edge up.
Like not talking about the outliner, but I noticed you used the balding purple clipper for the sides of his head, and the white clipper for the top. Why is this?
+matde100 it's all personal preference. I like using the wahls when blending past a #1 guard because I can use the 1 &1/2 guard to give a more blendy look and my later fast feeds are my main blenders between the bald and 1/16 guard. I just feel more comfortable that way.
+matde100 I try too. It's always good to keep your clippers oiled so they cut smoothly, but I would say I oil mine after every 3-4 cuts depending on how busy I get.
+Chretien GeradaI was going to ask the same because I've been cutting my own hair and using them cheap $20 walmart wahl clippers. But I recently got the Taper 2000 WAHL, would you be able to cut like this with one clipper?
Should use the foil shaver before you actually did the fade...it will make the transition from the bald area to the fade alot better and won't leave lines and if it does leave a line you will be able to flick it out when you do the fade...just a lil tip for ya..
I want to see if someone can help me, I dropped my andis masters and one of the blades broke. I replaced the blades but it doesn't sound right . where can I take my clippers to get them adjusted or sharpened??
I wanna start cutting hair so bad but im confused to what clippers i get man i was about to get the andis t outliners and fast feeds with double magnetic guards but theres not much on youtube showing the fast feeds alone when fading etc... can you give me some tips mannnn ps: never did haircuts before
+Chretien Gerada Thx brother i will do this. should i get the double magnetics with it too? ill be practicing on my brothers head guess ill start doing normal even cuts then to fading etc... btw can the wahls do the job without me having to use fast feeds...?
Could i buy a wahl balding clipper just to do the balding and my andis masters to do the fade bc my masters gets hot asf after a while. Sorry if its a dumb question im new to cutting hair
Nice Cut! there was a lot of trial and error with your steps, especially were you used the 3/16 guard was either covered with your hands or edited out. It was be nice to see another video were your adjustments on the lever are precise, but the hair cut turned out well. Thanks
Yeah, i do a lot of trial and error because sometimes the hair doesn't blend completely using steps and guidelines. What i like to do is get a rough draft of the entire cut first using all the guidelines then i just go back over it and touch up whatever needs fixing.
What i would recommend for the T-outliner is the deep-tooth blade I promise you it is alot better and will hit better on your line-up's. Just a little tip. but really enjoyed your video. Keep it up Fam!
So when I go to the barber should I tell them "Mid Bald Fade"? Or should I show them a picture? You as a barber what works better instructions visually or verbally?
Ray Delgadillo u need a system. my outliners are zero gapped but I only did it because it takes out the bald line. but my fast feeds without a zero gap blends perfect into the liner's. so it's about having a fading system down. people zero gap everything for the hell of it.
keep up the good work. one teaches all bro fuck who's hating ain't no such thing as a perfect fade or barber just as long as ur customer is satisfied u feel me
nice bro im barely starting to cut hair and you gave me a few tips in this videos keep making more tutorials ill appreciate and dont pay attention to them lil ass niqqas that talk shit about your cut's they just hatting:P
this video helped me I just did my first hair cut , It probably not the best one , but it worked I also liked the fact that the dude told us what number he had on top (3) most videos don't start like that they just begin doing the fade..

Thank you!
love to anybody out there trying to go to the next level, UA-cam not easy. keep doing your thing. never stop learning
I thought the beginning was the finish product
U thought nigga
Love it man, just started school and really like how this video was made , looking forward to more!
Good job looks great. Do you cut your own hair also? If so can you make a video on you doing this.
I go to a good friend of mine back home but when I can't go to him I use the self cut system. I'll be making a video on that pretty soon!
I’ve watched many haircut videos, by far this is the best detailed oriented video 👍thx!!!
Angel Cortes all love! Glad you enjoyed!
I like the cut but the box for me is a little too high what can I say to barber to get same fade but just a lower box. Thanks
Dang man i gotta start getting this fresh cut . So i tell my barber ''a 3 and a mid bald fade' ?
Yessir!
One of the best tutorial there is on UA-cam! Great job.
Appreciate it man!
just came here to check that fade out nice fade by the way and even better that tune comes on hii power
wow.... This Art work is nice
pls how can I get the kind of clippers you use?
Am in a remote part of Africa.
thank you
why you used the wahl senior and fast feed is there any reason?
Do those clippers take all hair at the bottom.
Yeah they do, but I use the shaver to make it completely bald
+Chretien Gerada Is there a reason why you chose to set a guideline with your 0guard? Do you find that theres a better transition when you include 0guard guideline as opposed to jumping from clipper open to 1guard open?
Yes I do feel that there is a better transition. I feel as if it portrays a more "blurry" blend as some would say rather than the traditional blend which is more solidified. Personally, it makes the blend longer and more gradient for me.
Marcello Kendall what bowl cut are you seeing ?
Thanks for the video. If me or my client has a six(6) on top how would these directions adjust?
It would be the same except for blending from 2 into the 3. You'd want to go straight up instead of into the hair.
would this work well with 1 on the bottom. instead of bald?
Why did you use two different clippers while fading?
All these haters in the comment section, I see nothing wrong with the fade. Good stuff bro 👌🏼
Nice fade bro 💈
Thanks fam, trying to get better every time!
I have a question when I get a mid skin fade my barber uses a electric razor on the bottom can they use a razor blade instead of a electric razor.
+Chretien Gerada thanks
What's the difference between the wahl balding clipper and the andis outliner to bald the head first. Would you recommend buying both wahl balding & a t outliner ? Just wondering thanks & keep up with your videos they help us out.
No difference. I just use the wahl balding to save the life of my liners. You're welcome! Glad they help!
When the blade is open what is it equivalent to?
I believe it's 000
Not exactly sure though.
It goes from 000(triple odd) to 1 all way open.
Thanks for the upload. You have the same clippers i have. I a beginner and just bought some clippers so i can learn how to cut hair. this video has been super helpful. thanks
Looks good to me. I try it on man with this easy steps and it came out good. Keeping in mind am not a barber at all lol. Good job 😁
Can I get a bald fade on my pubes?
can u shoe me how to do this cut using the bgrc clippers
Sorry, I don't own those pair of clippers. But if I ever get my hands on a pair I will most def
nice video would like to see more hair cutting videos can you do one with only oster fast feed thats really all i got at the moment and the andis magnetic guards just starting out greatly appreciated keep doing what you're doing
Appreciate it! I'll try and make a video once i get a chance!
with which machine they cut them up to make it good soft hair as in the video?😍😍
I use the Wahl seniors and oster fast feeds
are your fast feeds 0 gapped....or is that what you use the balding clippers for?
Yeah that is what i used my balding clippers for. My Fast Feeds are stock.
keep making tutorials bro. so to take of good lines you need the lever closed ?
Yes sir! To get rid of lines use a closed lever.
+Chretien Gerada well I'm starting bro but I don't really have a good machine. can you recommend me a clipper thats cheap for beginners?
+the one and only when I first started I just used a pair of Wahl designers. Clippers aren't that expensive. Look to buy on eBay or Amazon. They're a lot cheaper online. Or Craigslist.
+Chretien Gerada thanks bro means alot. your cuts are nice bro keep making videos 👌 huge support right here
+the one and only appreciate it ! ✊🏽
How do I tell my barber for this hair cut ?
3 and a mid bald fade
I'll do a video on that bro. The reason why me and others do it is because it is what suits the individual the best. its what they are most comfortable with. When you're a barber you obtain an arsenal of clippers and trimmers that compliment you and give you the best possible haircut possible. And most times you actually need at least2 clippers. one to cut and one to edge up.
HONESTO UNO well sir quit being cheap buy some good clippers
Why do you use different clippers throughout? Eg. The white one vs the purple one
Thanks for the response. One more question, do you oil/lube your clippers before use? Do you think it's necessary
What was the number of that hair cut please reply
3 on top with a mid bald fade
Bro do you mean with 3 or 1 the Millimeters?
Should use the foil shaver before you actually did the fade...it will make the transition from the bald area to the fade alot better and won't leave lines and if it does leave a line you will be able to flick it out when you do the fade...just a lil tip for ya..
What is the name of the model?
I usually get a 3 and taper I’m going to try this mid bald fade out
Yo Chretien how often did your client get a haircut in this video?
every week and a half
Damn...that's a good ass fade.
I want to see if someone can help me, I dropped my andis masters and one of the blades broke. I replaced the blades but it doesn't sound right . where can I take my clippers to get them adjusted or sharpened??
Jmustan03 larry the barber has a video on just that. search 'larry the barber andis master ' on youtube
MCFriedChicken1 thank you!
What number did you use on top
I wanna start cutting hair so bad but im confused to what clippers i get man i was about to get the andis t outliners and fast feeds with double magnetic guards but theres not much on youtube showing the fast feeds alone when fading etc... can you give me some tips mannnn ps: never did haircuts before
I recommend getting Wahl seniors to start and getting all the guides #1-8 and the #0 and #1.5 which are sold separately. And then an andis t outliner
+Chretien Gerada that's a start and just start practicing on someone's head. Hands on experience is the best.
+Chretien Gerada Thx brother i will do this. should i get the double magnetics with it too? ill be practicing on my brothers head guess ill start doing normal even cuts then to fading etc... btw can the wahls do the job without me having to use fast feeds...?
Revolution97 The Andis double magnetic guards don't fit on the Fast Feeds bro.
well done! very clear instructions! I'll give it a try..
Thank you! LMK if you have any questions!
How do I tell my barber for this cut ? What's the number on the top?
Saint 3 on top with a one or a fade on the sides.
I'm late but some of the criticism here are people just hating that cut is fresh!
my dream haircut .. very nice bro
Hey what type of alcohol do you use for after the cut?
Sorry I forgot to add it in the description. It's just aftershave. It's called pinaud clubman aftershave lotion.
instead of the 1/16 what can i use on the wahls?
what do you mean?
i dont have any gaurd thats 1/16
You just have to buy it otherwise it'll leave a dark transition from the blade to the 1 guard. It's inexpensive. Just look on eBay.
oh okay ty
Could i buy a wahl balding clipper just to do the balding and my andis masters to do the fade bc my masters gets hot asf after a while. Sorry if its a dumb question im new to cutting hair
Of course! I recommend doing this because it'll preserve the life of your clippers!
Is deep zero mid fade bigger than bald mid fade???
Nice video! Appreciate your attention to detail.
Nice Cut! there was a lot of trial and error with your steps, especially were you used the 3/16 guard was either covered with your hands or edited out.
If I went to the barber what would I ask for to get this cut
Moly Ballew mid bald fade #3 on top
What i would recommend for the T-outliner is the deep-tooth blade I promise you it is alot better and will hit better on your line-up's. Just a little tip. but really enjoyed your video. Keep it up Fam!
Yeah, my liners aren't the best, I always use my blade for perfectionAppreciate it. I'll look into it.
Would I need to zero gap the blade or leave it on the factory setting?
+Chretien Gerada It can be Zero gapped, I have mine a little bit on both factory and Zero just hits alot crisper for me atleast
Fresh cut thanks for the turtorial I hooked my son up wt it
can you do a mid fade with one on the top ?
Cali Music yes you can
what if the clipper doesnt come with 1 1/2 guard????
You should really get you one! It helps a lot. But if you don't have it you gotta do clipper over comb and the flick of the wrist!
+Chretien Gerada alright thnx bro
nice cut man!!
So when I go to the barber should I tell them "Mid Bald Fade"? Or should I show them a picture? You as a barber what works better instructions visually or verbally?
a mixture of both. Visual and verbal communication is key in giving the best possible haircut that suits to you and your client's liking.
This is a great vid. Thanks! ❤
great fade!!

Ray Delgadillo u need a system. my outliners are zero gapped but I only did it because it takes out the bald line. but my fast feeds without a zero gap blends perfect into the liner's. so it's about having a fading system down. people zero gap everything for the hell of it.
