Hey Tito this is the 4 video I’ve watched from you and let me tell you that I love your content, love the way you explain things on all your videos, I also appreciate that you answer to all of the comments for people that have concerns about anything👌, I’ve been cutting for over 2 years now and I’ve watched a lot of barbers cut with different techniques but let me tell you that your method has been the best for me personally. Keep doing what your doing Tito your on your way to being a very successful human being 🤝👊 Watching you from the Coachella Valley 🌴 -Demian :)
I remember you! Just after your GClips move, great to see you spreading your knowledge. Wish you only the best and that God bless you beyond what you can imagine. Thanks for this vid.
Hey Tito, I just started barber school and have a couple questions cz I’m super sad and frustrated. I learn more watching your videos to be honest but I need practice
I’m glad I can help bro. Pretty soon I’m going to be rolling out memberships on the channel so we can all have some more on one interaction for people who really need more personal help. In the meantime, bro is everything. The way to get to where you want to go is through 1000 heads. Even if it means giving away services for free.
Thanks for sharing this method. Had to comment because I’ve been cutting my own hair since Covid and could not remove the first guideline and fade the rest of my hair properly for the longest time. Tried different methods and this one worked perfectly thanks for this! Also hope you’re staying safe out there!
I like using the shaver early on cause theres nothing worse than ruining your cut from a customer moving slightly or something like that causing you to make a line or take the shaver too high. I also feel like unless you are very experienced using the shaver at the end a lot of barbers dont take the shaver high enough cause they are afraid to make a line so they end up just balding out the fade as if it was a low fade or something.
That’s a great point. I’ll show you on one of these releases coming soon how you can do that while still using this technique. Thank you for the feedback Mike I totally agree! New barbers need that thanks
I remember working at a Great Clips when I first started and the going rate was 15 minutes per cut to make any money. They definitely were about getting hair off the head. Please enlighten me about sport clips I was under the assumption fantastic Sam’s, great clips, sport clips, and super cuts were all under the same umbrella 🙏
That’s amazing you take your time and hone your craft I’m super happy there are stylists there taking their time now! Have you considered joining a barbershop? The income opportunities are mind blowing when you take that leap.
I think this generation of barbers likes the clicks. Helps for more precise consistent cutting. OG barbers probably can’t stand the clicks so they remove it. That’s why it’s nice for clippers to have removable click features
Typically, when fading down, i just do halfway. However, if a beginner wants to do baby steps to get there, nothing wrong with starting open, then halfway, then closed.
Bro can you please answer this leaver question I have with these clippers. Can you name the question mark, (Leaver open > leaver half open>?>leaver half closed>leaver closed) I have yet to find any barber on youtube that answers this, its driving me crazy.
I’ll take a moment to show you on cam soon. Open is open right, blade on its longest setting. Closed is the shortest, basically bald. Honestly half open, and half closed really is the same thing. It’s referring to the lever just being in the middle of the 2. Now if you want you can go notch by notch and get technical closing the lever a quarter at a time. But it works pretty well going straight to the halfway mark. So to clarify, don’t think about it as halfway closed or halfway open. Just think about it as halfway. Lever open Lever half way Lever closed I’ll be sure to use this verbiage going forward
Im doing the same things as you, i mean im a hobby Barber and when im cutting it looks good but i need every single time like 1 hour, im thinking my room is a time maschine😂
Not often, when I was more beginner yes, but I found this method is my go to, perfect placement every time. Easy to blend out. Fading up requires putting in way too many lines which is the opposite of my goal
You definitely can! I try my best to teach you an efficient way, so skipping halfway can save you some time. Feel free to adjust the system , it’s about remembering the process, not necessarily memorizing the steps
@@TitoCuts one more cuestion please, I started studying recently and some people say I should do a c motion and others say I should use move my clipper according to the shape of the blade, I have a magic clip, I think it has a flat blade and I don't know if I should scoop or not, please help
There’s very few stations that require scooping. Study the channel, see how I apply this, I explain the motions in every video. Straight up and down, square cutting let the clipper ride off the ridge when creating the shape. Blending flat to the head
Hi man! You know what you do! This method is perfect, but couldn’t you tell us how we must act with height when we go down the lever lower. Most likely we should work a bit lower when lever become lower. Sorry 😅 Am i right?
Yeah man you really want to move just incrementally lower each time you close the lever. Keep watching keep observing how I do these cuts, also remember that the hair cuts at the tip of the moving blade, not the still blade. That can help you a little with precision.
@@TitoCuts yeah I became your subscriber, because you definitely have a high skill. It’s interesting to me. So that I’m watching you. Okay man, I’ll try it. But now I don’t know how to do such a fast move and to have so a perfect result.
I’d do some UA-cam research, I am only familiar with canon, 50mm on a dslr is always nice for sharp details, I like my sigma 18-35 for an adjustable close lens with a blurry background
Buy one! lol it’s only going to be doable if you are using a wide throw clipper like an andis master but even then, buy the half guard. The stylecraft tight guards will work
You’ve listed a tremendous number of tools for cutting the hair. Could you please recommend maybe the three best tools for a beginner, especially those that are the best bang for the buck. Thank you!!!
Let’s see… the stylecrsft rogue, the ergo basically, is a no frills clipper just a great clipper to work with. That one you can use the discount code ‘TitoCuts’ with to make it even cheaper. Then I would go for a saber trimmer. They’re not necessarily cheap, but it’s an amazing machine well worth the quality. Shaver, go babyliss. Fx2

Good morning sir, hello from Cardiff 🇬🇧.Please can you make a video for how to use the thinner scissors.Thank you very much and have a wonderful day!

I work for a sport clips and we have to be detailed in our cuts. it isn't just getting hair off a head.
@TitoCutsTampaBay honestly, i would rather be at one but I didn't have any that let you start at a foundation stage like Sport Clips does.
@TitoCutsTampaBay yes it is 15 minutes for a cut.. longer if a mvp or triple play
What do you mean by foundation stage I don’t understand that part
Do you barbers out there prefer clippers with the click lever or non-click and does it matter or make a difference?
I think this generation of barbers likes the clicks. Helps for more precise consistent cutting. OG barbers probably can’t stand the clicks so they remove it. That’s why it’s nice for clippers to have removable click features
Are the clippers you use for the cut zero gapped?
Always properly adjusted. Never zero you always have to have a tiny precise gap between the two, just a little less close than your trimmers are
Fire cut bro, how are you liking the SC magnetic guards, do they cut similar to the Wahl guards?
They cut identical to them! As long as it’s the tight guards (that come from .5 to 2, usually colored) and not the “dubs”. Those cut different
Did you closed the 1 guard or just half way ?
Typically, when fading down, i just do halfway. However, if a beginner wants to do baby steps to get there, nothing wrong with starting open, then halfway, then closed.
Bro can you please answer this leaver question I have with these clippers. Can you name the question mark, (Leaver open > leaver half open>?>leaver half closed>leaver closed) I have yet to find any barber on youtube that answers this, its driving me crazy.

Lever open
Lever half way

@@TitoCuts thanks bro! Not all heroes wear capes, some wear a barbers apron.

Yes!!! We always need more content on being efficient this is an area with a huge gap.
Bro gave the barber a compliment lol
You know what it is
🔥🔥🔥cut tito.
I appreciate you bro!!
great explanation
Glad you think so!
Do you ever fade upwards? I find it easier to do.
Not often, when I was more beginner yes, but I found this method is my go to, perfect placement every time. Easy to blend out. Fading up requires putting in way too many lines which is the opposite of my goal
How come you do not put lever half way
You definitely can! I try my best to teach you an efficient way, so skipping halfway can save you some time. Feel free to adjust the system , it’s about remembering the process, not necessarily memorizing the steps
@ thank you bro x
Dos this method apply to a low fade?
Every fade, every taper. High, low, mid, drop, Mohawk, curly hair straight hair, stay tuned you’ll see it all come together.
@@TitoCuts one more cuestion please, I started studying recently and some people say I should do a c motion and others say I should use move my clipper according to the shape of the blade, I have a magic clip, I think it has a flat blade and I don't know if I should scoop or not, please help

But study man watch a bunch of my videos you’ll understand it better seeing it rather than reading it.
yoo bro when ur doing ur 8 all around is it lever open or closed for a true number 8?
A true 8 is closed. Open is a 8.5
What guards do you use?
For my 1.5, 1, and .5 I use the stylecraft tight guards. That really only means that they’re magnetic it’s the same shape and style as the wahl guards
Hi man! You know what you do! This method is perfect, but couldn’t you tell us how we must act with height when we go down the lever lower. Most likely we should work a bit lower when lever become lower. Sorry 😅 Am i right?

Thank you so much I try my best 🙏
Yo Tito is it possible to start closed to open to remove that 1/2 guard section?
Possible, but I warn it’s easier to raise your fade too high if you’re not careful or experienced.
