0:22 Use the no 2 guard with the lever closed
    0:50 Clipper over comb
1:07 Establish the guideline a little above the eyebrows to start dipping below to the middle almost end of the ears with the lever closed no guard
1:26 Create the proceeding guideline with the lever open no guard about a pinkie finger
1:39 Hit the ceiling with the full blade lever open no guard
1:59 Put the lever at mid way closed and hit it mid way within that guideline
2:22 hit the ceiling one more time with the lever open no guard
2:34 Close the lever all the way and hit the bottom of the guideline
3:20 Use a half guard lever open mainly using the corners or half of the blade instead of the full blade. Go a pinkie finger up
3:58 Half guard lever midway closed for the middle part again
    4:19 lever closed half guard
4:33 remove the guard and go with the lever open to blend in right beneath the area we hit with the half guard closed
5:17 one guard lever open to flick out
5:49 One and a half guard lever open working open to closed
5:14 one guard from open to closed
6:47 half guard polish all around

@@BobaDavis I've been retired about 8 yrs now, and the shop I owned didn't have many calls for bald fades, mostly business men. I was living in NJ at the time, my son who worked for me gave awesome fades, I never mastered it. I'm in Florida now where all us old folks live, and I can't find a good Barber in The Villages, so I cut my own hair, I get a bald fade, I'm quite good at it now lol. Thanks for replying.

@@kratu6625 True. So many barbers nowadays are using these same methods. Freehand fading with no guidelines is where it's at. A true barber doesn't need no fucking guidelines. Chyeah!

#2 all the way up and off the head, trimmer bald line, foil skin, trimmer again for detail, open clipper to closed, #1 guard open to close then work the half guard last. No wrong way to fade this is just what works for me

when the lever is down its means open , when its in the middle it means halfway, when its up it means closed , the steps are : closed guidline 0 gurad, open 0 guard , closed 1 guard and open 1 guard , when its closed blend it with the lever open

Where do you get the fiber stuff at? Does it just wash out then? That is great! I loved the tips: Using the edge of the clippers, Using a 1.5 guard, Where to begin the fade according to the hairline, Using hairspray to keep the front edge in place! Oh, and the bussiness card with fibers to define the line! Really cool!
