Just wanted to post an update here: The microphone was not working for sync and phone calls. After working with their tech support, I had to switch two of the wires for the microphone around and it resolved the issue. Also they had to change a couple of bits with forscan to make it work. I'll post another video showing what they did on forscan
I'm also having issues with the seat warming functions. They don't seem to be working (2014 Fusion SE). I've reached out to the tech support as well - do you think that's another issue the climate control harnesses?
I must've missed the install for my car because the face of my radio is different from this particular installation .. I have the eco boost Ford fusion similar to the titanium.. but it didn't come with the Sony system
I just got a 14 ford fusion s and this is the first thing I wanted to do. I was told the wiring harness for the backup in the truck would already be good to use to install a backup camera. You said otherwise so I wanted to confirm. You obviously have a lot more know how that indo so I have no idea what that is going to involve if I have to.
The wiring IS there, from the radio all the way to the trunk. However, the trunk lid does not have the correct harness, and the dash harness is missing one wire to power the camera. You need to connect an IGN feed to one of the wires in the connector in the passanger foot well, near the bottom of the center console, front. I forget what pin needed to be connnected. You will need the entire trunk lid harness from a backup camera equipped fusion. To add power to the connector under the console, you can splice and tape. You will also need the trim that goes above the plate, and the factory camera. I was reading that some early 2013 screens will not work, and you need the 2014+ 4" display for this to work, or swap to sync 3

I replaced sync 1 with sync 3 according to your instructions, but the buttons for controlling the radio on the steering wheel do not work for me, there are free pins from disconnecting the small 1-inch monitor, the carol for 12 pins, because I only took the cables for the rear camera from there, could you share wiring diagrams on fusion 2.5 se. thanks in advance
Are you referring to the directional arrows or the volume/track buttons? The direction arrows do not control the sync 3 display, they control the cluster with sync 3. Does your camera work, and are you using aftermarket or factory?
What's up with that little kicker amp? Or LOC? Want to add a system with minimal changes. And bypass the factory bass limiting to the door speakers. I already have and Audio Control lci2 for subs in the trunk.
The kicker amp is to power my door speakers. I also added a second one and some 6x9's with tweeters in the rear deck and relocated both amps to the sync 1 module location with a custom bracket that slides onto the rails. I have a 12L7 in the trunk with a CXA1200 as well. I am considering swapping the ACM from a newer fusion to take advantage of the sub out (my ACM doesn't output on the sub channels, even after enabling them with forscan). Sub volume knob was installed to the knock out that is on the right side of the center console, opposite of the parking brake switch. All amps get their signal from the front door outputs from the factory radio, they don't limit the bass over 20. (So my max volume is 20 for sound quality, bass rolls off over 20, no matter what I do in forscan for EQ settings)

The car is already wired for a camera, but there isn't a power feed from the dash harness to the floor harness. All you need is to replace the trunk lid harness and give it 12v then tell the car that it has a backup camera with forscan. I'll probably make a video on how to do this in the future
Your car is wired for dual climate it seems. Those wires drive the passanger door actuator. Run a DMM between pins 13 (blue/orange) and 14 (brown) on C2402B (these wires drive the damper door motor, probably around 4-8 ohms) and see if you have resistance. If you do, also check Pins 8 (blue/white) and 9 (yellow) on C2402A for resistance. If you have resistance on both sets, your car is already set up for dual zone climate. Single zone climate does not have wires in positions 13/14/18 on C2402B. Colors are blue/orange in 13, brown in 14 and yellow in 18. C2402A has 24 pins, C2402B has 26 pins. Big difference is C2402B has two rows of 13 pins. C2402A has one large pin on each end, and two rows of 12 pins.
Been working fine, I work out of town so haven't seen my car for a month. But after fixing the climate wiring in the FCIM connectors, it has been flawless.

I bought mine with 289,000 miles, the motor needed the timing chains replaced. I got lucky and found a 25k mile engine on Amazon (yes amazon) for 600 shipped to my door. After I replaced the engine, this car has been a dream. I originally bought it to fix it and flip it, but ended up liking it so much I kept it as my main car.
Mine doesn’t turn on I tried the ones from Amazon they don’t come with any of this stuff I tried two different ones of the same kind it’s the Chinese version
The adapter harness is the key. The couple of small issues that I had with getting mine working, the company I bought from on ebay was extremely helpful in figuring it out. There was a wiring change in 2017, so there are many different versions of the harnesses.
I don't remember where I found the wiring details, but it is super easy. You need the trunk lid harness from a backup camera equipped car, the bezel that the camera attaches to, camera, and camera bracket. Everything in the trunk is plug and play, no custom wiring. The only wiring modification that is needed is to supply 12v ign to a single wire in the passenger footwell under the center console trim. I may make a video on this in the future, as the work is very easy but isn't documented all that well unless you scour forum posts and google for wiring diagrams. But in a nutshell, its as simple as getting a camera, harness, bezel, and connecting one wire, and enabling it with forscan.
After checking in the 2gfusion forums, I don’t see the red wire that needs to be plugged in the connector under passenger foot well. The connector already has brown yellow wire in the slot. Does that mean the camera is getting the power? Also Programmed the correct code with forscan but still see the blue screen and no camera available message.

Hi, I just tried to install mines and there's two pins on the side of the cd player that's holding the whole unit in. 🤦🏾♀️😞
Yeah, mine has the same. Should be 4 screws and it slides right out
