How does the sat nav work? Does it work off the original sd card used for the sync 2?
Can the sat nav maps be upgraded? If so how?

You can see the satnav working at 23 minutes into the video. There is no SD card, it is built into the units memory. If you want UK and EU maps then buy the 64gb unit. To update maps you can get the files from cyanlabs.net you use a usb stick. I think map updates are available once a year. I very rarely use any cars native satnav, aways use my phone and with CarPlay or AndroidAuto it works perfectly with the unit.
