Wowwwww this looks older, alwayz my favorite band and their live experimentations are just genius. No other band touches the lyrical and musical mastery as Portishead does 💜
The White Room ran on Channel 4 from 1994 to 1996 and was dropped because of poor viewing figures, but it was one of the last great music programmes with acts playing live in a sparse white studio. I remember watching a fabulous set by Siouxsie and the Banshees playing from their Peepshow album.

An outstanding performance, interrupted mid-song TWICE by UA-cam to show adverts. Once was annoying, the second time just as the ending of Sour Times kicks off was unforgivable.
