Such an enigmatic ensemble, each character more obscure than the next, with an ironically appropriate soundtrack to match. There's got to be a stunning and esoteric story behind their official biography that would better explain Beth's choices to live in such obscurity, in spite of such rare and raw talent, barely tapped.
I was fortunate enough to see them when they toured for this album. Never thought I'd get the chance TBH. Saw them at Coachella fest & they were nothing but transcendant their entire set. So grateful for the experience!
This album went from my least favorite in 2008 to favorite in 2024. Portishead started with a masterpiece (Dummy) and then built up with every subsequent album. And a special mention for Chase The Tear and SOS.
Thanks for doing the work to put this together. Third is a brilliant album and this performance is one of the best I have seen from them. Gibbon's voice is just incredible here.
Nice job with the video! Only complaint, I wish Beth wasn't so far down in the mix. I know there's only so much you can do . She has amazing pitch control but doesn't project very well.
Thanks for sharing this. Love Portishead, loved this album. Gotta say though, imagine how depressing it would be to have a girlfriend who always sounds like this. lol.
@@bobbykbobette7426Far more depressing. Btw, the mood or the narrative of a creative mind doesn't necessarily match with the character in real life. It's obvious to me.

The original was on UA-cam in one part until the Devil took it over. Good to see the correct version back on here.
I can't think of many times I've wanted to give someone a hug so bad as I do right now.

Que orgulho de ser brasileiro e conseguir entender o que é dito no início de silence.

So powerful, thank you for sharing this. 🙌🌟👏
Thank you for taking the time to make this. One of my favorite albums and it was great to see it performed like this.
Incredible.
I need more of this in my life
Appreciate the work you put into this! I've never seen the performance compiled as such.
Qué joya! Muchísimas gracias por esto.
So good, this album is amazing and it s sick how they re playing live… I wish I saw them live…❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥👌🏾
Thank you, this is the culmination of music. And no shitty overdubs like everyone else does on "live" videos
For the record...the original live set came on a Portishead logo shaped thumb drive with the original deluxe vinyl release of Third.
Amazing!! Thank you so much for doing this
mi banda favorita 🔥🇲🇽❤
What is this show? I didn't know it at all. Brillliant! Thanks for uploading!
stunning
Hell yeah
Thank you!
En la mano de Beth Gibons, ?Qué seria, un poema o las canciones? Poético ese detalle.
Thanks dude.
Nice! Got the vibe just right with the visual adjustments! Any chance of getting a copy of this for the collection?

How about some light with that darkness, PH?
I don't remember this on foxtel

Imagine having a boyfriend who'd feel the urge to post shallow comments like this online. Depressing indeed
