    Thanks for checking out the video! I hope I can touch on some common questions people have in this video. I just filmed this off the top of my head without really thinking about it so I know I missed some point but I just wanted to address some basic areas. I get asked about stuff like this constantly so it's easier to make a video like this then to answer the same e-mails over and over. Let me know if you like content like this and I can make some more videos like it. Leave your comments below. I think I am also going to make a video that addresses the most important modifications to do to your machine as well as how to choose the right tires for your needs. As always, thanks for watching and thanks for the support!!! #AdrenalineJunkieProd #TeamAJP

    EXCELLENT VIDEO!!! I have a 2016 RZR XP 4 1000 with 6500 miles on it and it is still running strong! Bought it brand new. I maintain it regularly and baby it out on the trails. I have a buddy who bought his RZR a few weeks after I got mine, and he has 2500 miles on it, and it looks like it went through a war zone. Its all beat to hell.
    Take the time and maintain your UTV. It will last longer and you wont have any issues in selling it later.

    Some great info! You covered a ton of ideas and material. I think what is important is if the person doesn't have much money, a used 900s is a great all around machine granted its not trashed. A 900s will hang with everything out there unless you're driving mach1 or traversing big boulders, which is not really what us normal people do. In fact sometimes a little smaller machine will do more stuff than a bigger one because of being nimble and lighter! I will mention it's nice to have a little more than less when you really need it though. I have friends that have bigger way more powerful machines than mine but never use all it has to offer! I just smile and head down the trail. thanks Julian.

    I bought my RZR S 1000 used and it seemed to have been taken care of other than I needed to send my shocks to get rebuilt and my replace my wore out steering rack. Being it’s a 1000 the power is good but I really wish I would have bought an XP for the longer wheel base and better suspension. I got a lift and wheel spacers so I got the clearance and more width to try to help. Great video brother!

    Great video, I’ve been shopping for an Xp4 and as mentioned before the market is stupid. Used pricing is ridiculous. Nothing pisses me off more than people listing and showing pictures of a machine and they can’t even bother to wash or clean it. And are asking $23000.00 or more! Lots don’t even include the mileage in the add and you have to ask.

    The RZR I bought this spring had 4,600km, but looked like it had never been off road. I was buying from the second owner, who only had it for a short time, so I did not really know the full maintenance history, but I took the risk based on the visual condition. I would have liked to buy new, but there was no stock this spring.
    Other than visual condition, the biggest thing I was looking for was a near stock machine. People who do a lot of performance mods often ride hard.

    Thanks for the video, I enjoy the channel. I was looking for a used RZR 1000 for months. The used market pricing is high due to CV-19 cabin fever. Ended up buying a new 2020 RZR S 1000 in January, came with 3 years Polaris warranty, incentive to clear out the 2020 body style with the 2021 change. We ride in the foothills of the Alberta Rockies, the machine should do well, not a lot of speed trails, lots of climbing, mud and skeg. First ride this weekend for the garage Queen. No offence if you’re a Monarchist:)

    Then there’s people like me who will never see the desert but still need the horsepower… I live on a mountain in Nowrthwest Montana, over an hour away from the nearest “town”. I need a capable machine that will handle the rough terrain of what most would call trail riding for half the ride and still be able to handle highway driving for the other half. Of course I would only be using it for town runs when the road conditions won’t allow normal vehicle travel. I will also (most likely) have tracks for the deep snow which means I need a lot of power unless I want my trip to take 3-4 hours. Plus, there are millions of miles of trails to enjoy during the summer months. Thanks for the video!

The wildcat 700 sport is a great little machine but I feel the RZR is more solid in the long run and has much more aftermarket support. Prices should be similar. I don't know enough first hand about long term durability of the CFMOTO machines to recommend one.

      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  2 роки тому +2

      SuperATV used to offer the full protection kit. It was discontinued like 2 or 3 years ago I believe. It was an awesome kit. I think your only real option now is to make your own or get a cage builder or fabrication shop to make you one. I'm not aware of a bolt on option.

    Tomorrow, I'm looking at a Polaris Ranger. I understand your point about the miles. But, is there a limit to how many miles/hours I should consider regardless on hownits been driven?. I'm looking at 2010 Polaris Ranger with 1200 hours and 6000 miles on. .

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  Рік тому

      Hey. Good luck with the Ranger. If it’s been well serviced and maintained I wouldn’t worry about 6000miles if the price is right and everything else checks out. For a 2010 6000miles isn’t unreasonable. It’s only around 500miles a year so it seems like light use. Hard to tell without seeing it but my 2017 RZR turbo that’s in the video here has more Millage than that and it runs perfectly.

    my friend had a Polaris 1000 xp it was a 2016 it needed major clutch work all new wheel bearings and there was engine problems even when he had it checked out and tuned up it still lacked the power it had only 4000nkm on it just be warned it cost him a pile of money my Yammaha viking has 4000 k on it and runs as good as it did when it was brand new not a hater of Polaris but I do question there bud quality

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  3 роки тому

      As I mentioned in the video, millage is not a defining factor. The machine could have been abused. The air filter could have been on wrong, oil could have been low, etc... you never know. My RZR has 7000km of HARD use and runs like the day I got it. As far as engines are concerned Polaris makes a really bulletproof engine as long as you do routine maintenance and keep up with fluids. Sorry to hear about your buddies luck. Yamaha makes a solid engine too!

    What’s your opinion on an 800s

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  2 роки тому

      I feel if you can get one really cheap then do it but if you can afford to spend a few more dollars then get a more updated platform, you won’t regret it. The 800 is very dated and has some well documented short comings. All depends on your budget and your expectations.

    I own a XP 1000 this thing is a money pit at 11,600 MI had to rebuild transmission while I was at it figured I may as well check the top end on the engine good thing I did valves and valve seats were shot one cam out of specs time chain stretched prior to all this drive shaft,wheel bearings,clutches primary and secondary ,went with STM, steering rack, front shocks, front a arms, ball joints. I used from day one amsoil products and changed every 500 miles never rode a lot of mud tried to stay out of water greased every other ride a fanatic on maintenance. heads up! Buy a new machine better plan on spending about 6,000 in upgrades unless ur one of those who has a machine that's got 2000 miles and is 5 yrs old I now have 16,870 with the rebuilt engine and trans, if you like ride and not work on things don't buy Polaris 😢

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  11 місяців тому

      In all honesty all SXS’s are maintenance intensive if you ride a lot. Doesn’t matter if it’s a Polaris or a Can-Am or a Kawasaki. Some are stronger in some areas then Others but overall they all require a lot of work.

    What is considered high, medium, and low milage for a sxs?

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  3 роки тому +2

      It's a tough question to answer but I'm gonna over simplify it here for you. The year of the machine also plays a large factor in this and where it is driven.
      Under 1000 miles is very low for any machine
      1000-3000 miles is average or medium and a lot of machines are sold around the 2000-3000 mile mark
      3000-5000 miles is getting into the higher millage units and at this point youll wanna make sure wear items have been replaced or maintained
      5000+ miles would be considered higher millage for most people
      10,000+ miles has been seen on many rental RZR's and they still run great
      It all comes down to how a machine is used and maintained. It's usually not the engines that fail on these, it's everything around them.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  10 місяців тому +1

      As far as the RZR XP 1000 goes they were all quite good from 2014 forward. Small changes year to year and some revisions but nothing serious changed until the 2024 model. Remember that age and millage aren't always key variables in deciding on an off-road vehicle, it's all about how it's been treated. However, we don't often really know that so there is always some risk involved.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  9 місяців тому

      @@1996jared battle wagon is a 2017 RZR Turbo. The only really big improvement which happened in 2019 or 2020 on the 1000XP was they went away from a reverse chain and went to a gear driven reverse. All the other things are minor I feel. If the price is right and machine checks out good any of the 1000XP models are good units. The truth is there are certain parts you’ll change on most machines eventually like a-arms and axles, etc.

      Sales numbers would dictate otherwise. The people that call Polaris garbage are often the ones who don't properly maintain a vehicle. Making a statement like they are garbage without listing some valid reasons for your conclusion don't really add much value to the conversation. It would be more beneficial to tell people why you think these machines are garbage instead of making massive generalizations and blanket statements that truly hold no weight.
