Warnings & Advice
If a player is currently partway through a Career season, Central European Rally will appear on the next Season’s calendar.
If a player starts a new Career save, Central European Rally will appear in the Season 1 calendar.
If a player is currently partway through a Championship Mode season, Central European Rally will not appear on the Event list.
If a player starts a new Championship Mode save, Central European Rally will appear on the Event list.
In Championship Mode, Central European Rally will only appear in the top class’ competition.
All vehicle tuning setups created before the v1.4.0 update will be wiped once the update releases. Please write down or screenshot any tuning values you want to keep, and re-make those setups after the update.

Top Time Trial Leaderboard times that were previously set using corner-cutting exploits fixed in this update will be deleted in the future.
This must be a game with most bug and issue fixes since release. Now that’s both positive and negative mostly wtf is going on.
Edit: it comes down too game that’s halfway done and realised to grab cash and let dust collect unthil it’s somewhat fun to play

Want to share some positivity around the game, it has its issues, tho most seem to have been fixed by this update.
But I want to say thanks to the boys and gals at Codies, you have created what I think is the best rally game ever, I know you didnt want the game to release with so many bugs, but youre working hard to fix those and know this, you have made a good job, the game is fantastic, already have more playtime on it than on DR2.
Truly thanks for this game, you can really see that the people behind it are just as passionate about rallying as the players

It’s called Rally FINLAND but not all of Finland is included. It’s called Rally CHILE but not all of Chile is included. It’s called Acropolis Rally of GREECE but not all of Greece is included…

@@AnthonyHoul that’s probably the best compromise actually. People would still complain its unrealistic though, you can never win. I’m just happy with what it is because I’ve not overhyped my own expectations of it 😅 (and its actually a really fun stage)

VR doesn't make sense imho due to motion sickness that will be hefty when drifting. I'm not at all prone to motion sickness and can play hours in VR, but I feel instantly dizzy when drifting with a car in GT7. This will be even worse with EA WRC, since you are drifting all the time. I also want more titles for VR, but not this one, I guess.

@@Ravecat27 There is a workaround... don't quit in the middle of the rally and play it all in one go... don't start an event if you don't have the time to finish it... it's not a great workaround but you can at least play the career mode properly with very few exeptions (power outage or some crap turning off the PC)

@@dab1348it’s kind of arbitrary to make three separate roads just because the real world rally was across three countries. Sweden in the game doesn’t go anywhere near Umeå and in fact has one stage in Norway, I’m sure there are regions of Greece for one example that the game doesn’t have any stage mileage in but we’re not complaining about that.
Each other location is either one road or two so this isn’t any different to what we’ve got with the other rallies.
You’d end up with no stage longer than 10-11km which people would also complain about

32km is 32km. This is like getting angry at Lay's for putting air in the bag when it tells you the weight anyway.
Fix the effect of falling snow because what you see is a joke. Already in vrally 2 on Playstation there was a better effect of falling snowflakes.

1. What name would you give it? Given that it would be one of the ‘extra’ locations alongside the vaguely named ‘Pacifico’ ‘Scandia’ etc.
2. What stage? Sweet Lamb has run it’s course and I’d say even Craigvinean has too, time for somewhere new!

@@Eskoxo I got pc too boi and I stopped playing games on it when price's go so high when console's provide better fps in 4k with 1/4 of price from a pc that provides better detail on distance for more than 2k sooo funny to judge someone you dont know.. So yes ps5 is better considering the price...why dont you go give your money on one rtx 4080 for 1.5k 🤣🤣 for a gpu.. when ps5 pro comes out you should probably need 3 or 5k to play on medium ~ high graphics without rtx on so go cry

Do you still have a problem with the bot level, where suddenly I have a 3-4 minute advantage? Additionally, I had to create a new profile three times on PS5 because it doesn't load data correctly from time to time
It's not sudden... it's when you quit a rally in the middle of it and continue it later... when you continue the rally the AI gets broken and difficulty goes down to 0 for no reason... just do the whole event in one go

And the length of the rally is Long, so, for example, I'm playing the Swedish rally in Jwrc and it's good for 9 stages or 7. When I create my own championship in Quick play, whether I create 4 or 12 stages in the rally, the error still occurs. I had great hopes that the game would be very good, but due to such a simple mistake it is unplayable for me. Since the premiere, I have been playing almost exclusively time trials because what else can I do if there is no competition

They want everyone to be playing the exact same stage with the same time and visibility to minimize the discrepancy of times... it's a choice of theirs and I'm ok with it personally...
I don't like Time Trials much though cause they create very bad driving habits

@@NemohHoes You end up with a habit of pushing all the time, trying to take every corner at the absolute maximum and in real rallies where you have only one go at each stage you end up crashing the car... rallying is about consistency, not about taking every corner at the maximum like in track racing...
The thing about super fast record holders in rally games is that they're NOT good racers... they're good only at time trials with very few exceptions like Joona Pankonnen who was a world champion of Dirt Rally 2.0 and was obviously just ridiculously fast and wasn't crashing all the time..
My advice would be to use time trials as practice to learn the driving style of each rally and not care about your placement... use it as practice to find the right setup to make the car fast and controllable. I never go over 25-30 worldwide in any time trial cause I don't care to push that much... and I still play with AI difficulty at 100

PLEASE tone down the XP required for the Rally Pass, I have 50 hours logged on the game and am only level 17 out of 20. It's massively unfair to those of us who have jobs/lives.

Yeah that was the disappointment season
For season 2 you should just fix all the screen tearing, framerate issues, last gen graphics and work on some of the handling so i dont spin out all the time for no reason. Light braking, having a wheel touch grass or going over a jump all cause my car to immediately 180 on me with no chance of recovering it (controller not racing wheel)
Max out joystick sensitivity, 0 death zones, full linear steering. That should help. It may be hard to get used to it at first tho, but it is the best config for me for quick car reactions and turns.

You don't want full linear steering. I use zero. You need it low to be able to recover oversteer. And sensitivity 70 to 100 Deadzones for steering as small as possible with your pad. With those settings you can compete for world records.
Sensitivity: 70-100
Linearity: 0-1
Steering deadzone 2-3
Then Practice a lot!

Central European Rally is acress Czech, Austria and Germany. Do we get stages from other two countries as well? And and the stages real or fictional?
Why do all stages of the CER have czech names? The recreated stages are more likely in Germany and Austria. The bus stops have written „Bushaltestelle“ on it. If you don’t know EA, but that is German language.

Calling the game unfinished is a little bit dramatic considering the only issues it’s had is with problems with graphics optimizations. By EA standards this is the most “complete” game they’ve released in like 5 years dude…
thank you so much for adding the ability to automatically switch between manual and sequential gears based on cars. such a small thing but man was it annoying to start a stage only to realise your gearing controls are wrong.

@@pseudoAndyTrue, definitely German road signs, signposts and reflector posts. But the stage list on the website only has Czech names, and it's only one 32km stage and segments of it anyway. Which is also weird as there were only stages with 23km max in CZ this year. So maybe it's just a weird mashup of the three countries all in one...
@@Woifeh Let's hope not... The Czech stages (at least based on the names) are based on Barum Rally Zlín though, which is in a completely different part of the country near Slovakia as at the time of making it wasn't known which roads will be part of the CER rally in real life, or so I've heard.

Please don't do this bullshit that the endurance club does though where you need to run 12 stages without a single service between them... so you need to run 12 stages without hitting anything and wearing the same old destroyed tyres... I saw it and I was like "is this a joke??? You want me to run 12 stages of Rally Chile in one go without fixes???". I decided to quit and "cheat" after 10 stages because I knew everyone else was because of their insane times...

@@Neuer.Anfang Goes live on the 14th of December... you're unlucky dude... I run the game smooth as butter on my RX 6900XT and Ryzen 5 5600X... no issues at all... one quick fix you can try is setting the Car Reflections to very low because Car Reflections have been bottlenecking the CPU and making the GPU severely underperform... even on a 4090 you see massive frame improvements... also we always play in cockpit cam so you'll never see the car reflections anyway... lol
I went from 70fps on ultra setting 1440p to 110fps in one go... that's a fucking 60% better performance... it's insane... so until they fix their car reflections I strongly suggest you turn them all the way down...

PLEASE do something for performance. My system is i9 14900k, 4090ti and I run middle settings. And it's not very smooth 😢
disable mirrors (if you play with cockpit view), set car reflections to low or medium, shadows not at maximum - big boost to fps

Real vegetation can be interpreted as, geo accurate vegetation, better vegetation rendering, perhaps better physics when cars interact with plantations etc. Not something vague like 'real vegetation.'

Great work so far - I personally think the game would benefit massively from 2 features which are currently missing
- Ability to spectate multiplayer lobbies, especially whilst waiting to join but also in the event of terminal damage/ retirement from an online event
- Daily and weekly stages
I think the multiplayer would be a great deal more engaging if these were implemented/reintroduced
