9:25 Rally Pacifico is loosely based on "Rally of Indonesia" at Sumatera Island. I suddenly remember 1st Codemaster Rally game "Colin McRae Rally" & V-Rally 1 & 2 where there're Indonesian Rally stages.
I remember hating indonesia rally in v-rally 2 because the road was always really slippery and the palmtrees leaves would block road visibility and made me spin out or rollover, but in the end it made me drive more carefully haha

We need the ST165, ST185 and ST205 Celicas back. Shame that they've been absent from rally games for so long. Wonder if the cheating scandal with the ST205 has anything to do with them not appearing in rally games anymore.
Lovely selection of rally cars. I like how Codemasters even included some of the F2 Kit cars and the Super S1600 that was mainly competing in the British Rally Championship 👍
Paint on eome cars, especially on replays, looks strange. Like the clear coat/ lacquer is not letting enough light pass though. Impreza blues looked better in Dirt 2.0 for example. Look too 'white' in this EA WRC.
I've been very against EA for a long while since they went on their "spew it out and microtransaction the hell out of it" binge but.... This is my favorite rally game next to DiRT 2.0. Been playing for a good while and can't get enough. Finally have my sim racing setup coming, can finally "drink and drive" legally. 🎶Ripping through the woooods, I've had too fucking muuucchh, holy shit that is a tree this game is fuckin nuuttssss🎶
I'm still on the fence about buying this game mainly because I'm enjoying the dirt rally series and also read that this game is a complete waste of money. plus, there's no rally GB. no rally game should ever be without it even though the WRC no longer goes there.
Not when Polyphony Digital (the people who make Gran Turismo) has the rights to Pikes Peak which is why we didn't get hillclimb mode in DiRT Rally 2.0 and in EA Sports WRC. Without it, no point adding those two desirable hillclimb race cars. Till this day, I'm still wondering what are they gonna do with it and if they do, when are they gonna released the hillclimb track now that they have Escudo in the game again 🤔

@@vista1456786 I mean, this is the exact same company that's thinking Initial D The Arcade, WMMT, and that F&F game starring Vin Diesel is fine, but games like NFS and The Crew up until Motorfest does not makes me really wanted to have some of that zaza they're smoking during their thinking process

Sadly only there is Toyota Yaris, classic cars like Celica GT4, Corolla WRC, etc did not make it to the game....because license again

Actually, it's not EA (American)....it's Codemasters (UK). You may be surprised how the British still refers AWD as 4WD till this day.
