I'm very proud to be here thanks for sharing with us this great Video
Aw thanks so much!
I love Korean food. Tteokbokki is my favourite. Jokbal pork knuckle is also delicious. I have kimchi daily. Thanks for a fun video. Germany 🇩🇪 next?
Oh I am so excited for this new series! As you did one of my favourite cuisines already (I just love korean food sooo much!) it's kind of hard to choose one for me. However, I heard from several people that Georgian (the country, not the state :D) cuisine should be amazing. As I never ate anything like that, I would love for you to explore it!
Nice one - I love Korean food, especially the BBQs.
Agreed korean BBQ is so fun!!
Loveee Korean food!! 😊 everything t looks so good
Yes it is so flavourful! I've always enjoyed it but this made me appreciate it even more :)
Love Korean food! Maybe Vietnamese next. I feel like all I know is Pho and the coffee but there will be so much more!
Oh yes I LOVE vietnamese!!
Amazing 🇳🇱👍
Thanks!
The best part with the lunch that you did is that it all can be eaten again. It actually tastes better as the stew concentrates and tastes even better. The banchan and the kimchi does the same as they keep fermenting. After the first time cooking it you just reheat to eat again. Its really quick after the first time!
Also you can put the rice into the stew and eat it, using the spoon directly from the stew.
Oh really! That is so great to know thank you!!
This was a pretty good summary of Korean cuisine. Btw, Ice Americano is called "Ah-Ah" as an abbreviation of Ice and Americano. As for the Street Toast, you can either sprinkle the sugar or just mix it with the mixture. You got the sauce right with using just mayo & ketchup (and no mustard). As for other meals, you make banchan in bulk such as kimchi and spicy cucumber, and eat them over several meals. You can have a new main dish (often meat based such as bulgogi) and soup for variation, so that you don't have to cook so much everyday. Also, there are banchan stores in Korea (or in Korean towns abroad, there should be some in London as well) One last thing, did the Bingsu not have condensed milk or some sort of syrup? Usually people mix it up when eating Bingsu but I like to pick at them but he shaved ice should be flavored so that it doesn't taste bland. And was the Soju flavored? It normally tastes like milder vodka.... Overall, it seems like you've done a lot of research! Hats off to you!
Ohh thank you for this additional info and for answering some of the questions I had! Honestly all the info you initially sent me was super useful for the video- I couldn't have done it without it. I don't think the bingsu had condensed milk or syrup so I think I need to try another one and I would probably like it more. Yes the soju was grape flavour- I've always seen flavoured soju but in Korea would it tend to be plain and not flavoured? So interesting!
@@polkadotpassport I believe it's the vanilla ice cream on top that was supposed to be replacing condensed milk. Though in my opinion, NOTHING can replace sweetened condensed milk. XD
FYI there are so many variations in bingsu these days. The one with red bean and condensed milk is considered as "the original", but there are mango, strawberry, chocolate, green tea(matcha), cheesecake, soybean, muscat(grape), mint chocolate chips... Just to name a few, and the flavor just goes limitless.
Ahah = Iced Americano
Each words start with the sound Ah, so Ah-ah is a short form of that haha 😂 Koreans like to use abbreviations
I didn't know much about Korean cuisine before watching this video. I learned so much! I know it's not as exotic as Korean cuisine, but I vote for French food. Yum! :)
Aw I'm so glad! And French is honestly one of my favourite cuisines so I would not say no to that haha :)
But you got the French food all wrong
Next you should try Nepali Food, its really good. Dumplings, thupka etc
Oh I love Nepali food but I would love to try some more! do you have any other favourite dishes?
How do you travel so much
