yesssss! She's always done her own thing, and I've always loved how proud she is of herself and her music. She's still proudly rocking her hits from 20 years ago, not in a desperate hasbeen kind of way but owning her music.

Watch her acoustic version of with Yungblud if you haven’t seen it. She sings it in the original key there and absolutely nails it. She sounds better there than she did in the original to me.
I saw her at Casino Rama for the tour kickoff last month and the entire 5000 person crowd had their phone flashlights on during Im With You, waving them back and forth. It was incredible.

When you age your voice gets deeper. She sang songs from her teenage time. I agree this is impressive.

Wow her voice sounds so beautiful in this mature register. I love that she’s still being celebrated. She really is a pop culture icon mid 2000s. I remember every girl in school who felt like a bit of an outsider wanted to be her. Her music stands the test of time and she gave us so much!
She's never changed in the best kind of way. She never had to put on a persona or anything and always looked and wrote like just another teenager/young adult. Relatable for sure! Her voice still sounds amazing! Regardless of what you think of some of her stuff, so many of her notes are a lot harder to hit than they look. She has SO much control of her voice and is just breathlessly breathing through it. Flawless!
She learned vocal technique and thus sounds better for it (this isn't that good a performance though, heard a lot better from her). She didn't have much of that in the beginning.
It's so strange to think that the same woman who was wearing white t-shirts, black ties and converse is now wearing these dresses. Keep rocking, Avril

i can tell it's a little bit harder for her to sing her older music just because of Lyme Disease as well as i think she learned later on how to sing more proper to protect her voice, either way she sounds amazing!!!
Her new voice is cool and that makes her medley more cooler! Also she tries to sound like her 2000's lol but it is sound good even if she wasn't try to much.

@Hack Your Life it can affect vocals, but it’s rare. It affects singing in general because of fatigue, though.
@Hack Your Life according to one of her interviews..(watch it on yt if you wanna know) she cant barely speak or even play an instrument..shes being paralyzed at some point so how could she be able to sing just like before.. But i have seen her latest lives and she can still belt the higher notes..

It’s crazy how well she sings the ending of I’m With You now. This is twice now in the past few months she’s done it in the original key and didn’t sound like she was struggling.

Those "Let go" album days were the best, this lady is a gem, let's give her her roses/flowers while she still can enjoy them.
Her music defines my teen years and early 20’s. “I’m With You” is perfection and will always be my favorite. Every time I hear it, it brings back so many adolescent memories, good and bad. Thank you Avril!

Pop Punk Queen that influenced many young artists these days like Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift even artists from occidental countries like Hueningkai of TXT. She's an icon and the world needs to start to get her the recognition she deserves

@@goldytwatus1674 Head Above Water was a hit. It even reached #1 on itunes worldwide. The MV has +100M on UA-cam and almost 200M on Spotify. The song has sold millions worldwide. That's a hit. The rest of the singles of that album weren't a hit I know but HAW definitely was.
