"The 1989 World Tour" is just the name of the tour. This performance happened in 2015, as it is stated in the description and on the video itself (0:13).
Why is that the name? Taylor named her fifth studio album, "1989", after her year of birth, therefore, that was the name given to her forth headlining tour, in support of this album. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Exactly. Very very cool of Taylor. I remember when she sang “Summer of ‘69” with Bryan Adams in Toronto, Canada (Bryan Adams’ home country) and how she knew the song from her parents and it’s been one of her all time favourite songs since she was just a child. A true Queen and a Legend.

As a 27 year old millennial, I find myself falling more and more in love with Taylor lately and this just tops it. This is the best collaboration I’ve ever seen and I found myself so emotional watching her let Avril shine yet supporting her in the best ways. Absolutely amazing

this is so on point. now 31 and I have idolized Avril when I was in HS. she was also an influence to why I have always wanted to sing while playing the guitar. she had inspired me in so many ways. And now, I'm starting to like Taylor and appreciate her music even more and her as an artist.

I remember being a huge fan of Avril Lavigne. I used to go the library to use the computer and watch her videos cause I didn’t have a computer! 😢 it’s emotional even talking about it. But how I loved it!!!! It was EVERYTHING to me. I also got my first rocker ring belt cause of her, oh how I begged my dad to get me one. ☺️ my first CD album 💿 was “Let Go” I also loved “Sk8er Boi” !!!!

I live in India, as a teenager we didn't have access to buying original records here, i also didn't have internet. I remember listening to her songs after downloading them from an internet café. And i became a huge fan without ever watching a single music video. My mind was blown when i saw the video of "Girlfriend" on my friend's computer(who had internet), I remember literally buying a blank CD and running to her house the same evening to burn the song on the CD. Gen Z would probably blanch at my comment. Lol.
