Played around today with my F-8+, with Fujikura Pro 65 Tour Spec shaft. I have Ping g400, Taylormade M-1. The milling on the face of the F-8 really works. Fairways all day & long. You really have to take it on the course to see the real benefits. Dry ball data & on the range do not really tell the story. All these launch monitors are a false sense of security. Got to take it out for a test drive!
You are welcome. If you get time please hit your original epic sub zero against the epic flash.I have the epic sub zero and found the rogue to be a nice club but not any better than my epic.Just curious if this new version is significantly better. Thanks Michael.@@MichaelNewtonGolf
Great review Mike ! Definitely low spinning for the standard model, from what I’ve seen so far SubZero is much lower spinning (below 2000 rpm). Will check this against my current Rouge SZ. Getting fitted in 2 weeks, this be an upgrade if they have in stock to test.
Nice review Mike. Having watched a number of reviews my feeling is that this could be a Very dangerous Driver in the wrong hands, (that low spin even on the standard Flash is worrying). Golfers will need to get fitted into the correct setup otherwise they are going to be playing their golf in Bear country. I agree with the comments below so far the Cobra F9 seems to be a far better option for the average Golfer and they can buy a 3 Wood with the money they save. Bit of a no brainer! PS I think that the Super Computer was having an off day if that's the best it can come up with!
Ive worked both Flash models out and while I got fairly strong numbers, the sound was so loud...so off-putting that I had to pass. In fact after my session I had ringing in my ears for a while. It's not just loud, its excruciatingly high-pitched. Especially the SubZ model. Possibly the loudest driver I've experience beating out the G30 from 4 years ago.

The sliding weight really influenced your flight... Very cool
Put the old Epic Flash back in my bag. Still a viable driver.
Thanks for the review, been looking forward to your take on this one
Thanks for watching 👍

Great Vid Michael again .. what is your opinion - my clubhead speed is 97-100 - which one would you recommend, thx
What is your opinion on 2 weights in the back of the epic flash...I was lucky enough to gain one cheaply but it has 2 weights instead of 1...
You will lose about 5 mph of swing speed.
what type of shaft
Flash sub or standard Flash
Funny you talk about them coming back to epic name after rogue. According to callaway they are separate lines. Definitely confusing for the customer
The Rogue sz , was a 400 dollar piece of ---t.
The F9 is still the clear winner

That hole in the bottom of the driver can be injected by hot melt to dull the sound.
Cobra all day long
Cobra for me
f9 better
all over terrible big pulls or cut pushs
