Great H2H Guys with some impressive numbers. Though Mark's club head speed was lower with the M6 it produced an amazing 1.47 Smash Factor, WOW! Also the dispersion of the M6 was way tighter, I suspect this was helped by the M6 having a higher MOI than the Flasher! Really looking forward to Mark testing the rest of the 2019 Driver offerings and would like to see him hitting the 3Woods and the new Callaway Apex and Apex Pro which look stunning!
I love these “mid handicapper” reviews! Let’s set aside for a moment that there are clear signs, in the numbers, that Mark can do much better than he did with Epic Flash if he got properly fit for it... It’s clear, that The M6 was the better option for him, at least today! Sometimes, the wand chooses the wizard! I was half expecting Mark’s hair to start blowing in the wind, a soft white light to envelop him and some eerie music to start playing in the background out of nowhere.... after that first Drive! Mark’s swing is looking smooth too!
Great video again James I really enjoy the club testing you do and thank you to TaylorMade for bring out so many clubs I just bought the m4 for a £170 new another 7 months and I’ll buy the m6 for £170 when they bring out something else 😁👍
Great content James. Watching from Tamworth Australia. Thanks for what you do really helping me appreciate golf even more. Don't apologise for the humour it's all good and the stuff you do with Mark is entertaining and insightful.
The look on Marks face when he was straight lining the TM6 was priceless.... I bet your considering putting that club in your bag... Great review James
Stunned by the consistency of the M6 but I really don’t like the look of the sole of it. Would it be possible to mix up the order of the shots? 3 or 4 balls with each but alternating between the drivers. Can’t help but feel Mark was “loosened up” after hitting the Epic and maybe skewing the results?
Mark Crossfield did the same 2 clubs ,with a slightly different result .Liked both reviews .Just goes to prove there is no better club for everyone. Just a better one for YOU! Like the channel James.
I know there’s a lot of low handicap golfers who probably enjoy pros testing the clubs but it has a lot more meaning to see the “mid handicap “ golfer testing- I really think you should change the name of your vlogs to mid handicap golfer.......looking forward to the test with cheap cobra f9 more!!
@@JamesRobinsonGolf Get him to hit the M6 first then his old one though! Otherwise your warming up with the old club, I suspect thats why he hit M6 better here! Need to do 5x then swap and then swap again. Maybe even repeat the test another day but start with the other club then do an average alot of effort I know but would give a much better idea of how each club actually performs then. Thanks
By the time he gets the Taylormade in the bag they will have come out with three more new drivers 😂 being serious though, another great video. I always enjoy seeing Mark in your videos.
I tried both on a fitting and I got on better with the Epic Flash which is now in my bag , both were set in different settings by the fitter and I went with the Callaway but it’s what you connect with on the day sometimes .
Nice to see Mark testing them as a mid handicapper. Most of us can relate to his numbers rather than watching other you tube guys bombing drives 320+yds! I still think the manufacturers need to wise up, it's getting out of hand with the equipment changes and prices. Probably out of most people's price bracket and I suspect not a great deal better than older models!
James, I really enjoy your channel. Good humoured and down to earth. Your tester Mark hits the ball extremely well for a mid handicapper?? Can't wait to test the M6 myself.
James I know that I'm just watching this video post now at June 9th, but I'd like to see this same test again with Mark and see if he seems to be hitting the Taylormade just a well, sometimes I would like to see a do over either weeks or months later just to see if things will match up again. Thanks for the video post, I don't always have time to get to them when they hit the net, but they are always informative with I do get to them.
Interesting. I just tried these two clubs and the M6 felt so much better ⛳️👌🏌️♀️ The address look of the Taylormade club face is so inviting. Off to try cobra F9 and TS2 and cobra ST 190 and ping 410

Best review I have seen in a long time. Nice shots Mark. Going back to hit the Flash after warming up would be a good validation. Shut the nay sayers... Can’t wait for the M6/M5 comparison. Great video James!
The Epic Flash head cover is hideous!! The M6 head cover is much, much nicer! But they are both boxing gloves! End of competition! 😝 I’ll post again once I finish watching the review! 😝😝😝
Wish I lived nearer because I would love to test out the latest Drivers as a high handicapper. And I am on the look out for a new driver (in case you have a spare xxx)
Great video guys well done, James I’m just wandering when Mark was doing testing last outdoors the best driver for him was the titleist ts3 and he was carrying it 205 with run out to 235, he is carrying the m6 240ish, has his swing speed gone up or was it something to do with testing outdoors last time?
So the driver that's advertised to produce faster ball speeds (M6) produces the slower ball speed of the two. And the driver advertised with improved distance (flash) because of their Ai created face is the shorter than the two.
Purely down to spin rate caused by strike. The TM smash factor and lower spin suggests he was striking it better and had more optimal spin. The Callaway had a faster ball speed from poorer strikes but 600 rpm higher spin. Strike it better and the spin will come down and it would be longer
@@nipplefishdigweed5839 Exactly! Yet people are still convinced that each year their new driver gives them an extra 10yrds despite the club faces being at the limits of the regulations for years.

Would have liked to have seen a second 5 balls hit for each after it looked like he got worm to see if those numbers stay the same. Callaway looked to have been swung cold and the TM was when he got some swings in.

Hi James, just another couple of high promotion high promise drivers! If I were fitted for a driver correctly last year, then why within six months would I need to consider another £500 driver? Is it the big claims as always with distance and forgiveness that attracts? In my opinion if everyone knocks their drives as good as the distance claims then we'd never need half the irons we carry? Hi James, just another couple of high promotion high promise drivers! If I were fitted for a driver correctly last year, then why within six months would I need to consider another £500 driver?
Is it the big claims as always with distance and forgiveness that attracts?
In my opinion if everyone knocks their drives as good as the distance claims then we'd never need half the irons we carry? Our bags would be a lot lighter with Just a driver, a utility/rescue/hybrid/driving iron, 6 iron, 8 iron P Wedge, S Wedge, putter!
Well if I couldn't afford the old epic driver i was fitted for I'm sure there's going to be plenty second hand ones next week.
Keep it up James be nice to see a high handicappers testing with you
