Some of Metra's locomotives don't have a separate HEP generator and the main prime mover is used to supply power to the coaches. Because of this they rev higher.

Good day...my name is Vivian. I have Been trading Forex for about 2 and half years now, finally at the point I'm leaving my job as a salesmanager. A wise man said never put all the eggs in one basket same goes to income. Best advice I could give to beginners or amatures is never go live, try and master key things and don't forget little things matters a lot in Forex trading or better get a account manager you can trust. Think about what make you different from others never complain. Remember, what makes the rich different from the poor is the mindset. Allow me to introduce to you my Forex account manager I don't know how to thank her. So, I have to sacrifice my time to share her name and contact to the world speaking only the good works of her helping me with account manager on Forex trade. she is Rose Morgan from United States currently taking us on seminar for does who wants to learn structure. This is my Christmas for her. Anyone interested in Forex account management should please contact her for me please 🙏..for quick response please contact her though on WhatsApp + 1 ( 5 1 6 ) 3 2 4 3 3 7 2.
dam metra got a whole lot of trains
16:03 Is it normal for a locomotive to emit that much pollution or is there something wrong with it?
Its normal I see this often it happens mostly on them when up to speed
11:38 me and my twin next to the Amtrak super liners
Great video! Around what time was this? Also, would Canal St. be a good spot too?
Thanks! It was between 4 and 6 pm, and Canal St is a busy spot as well.
some of these locos seem to have constantly high revs
Some of Metra's locomotives don't have a separate HEP generator and the main prime mover is used to supply power to the coaches. Because of this they rev higher.
@@NYTrainzchaser Interesting.
I think adding to that high rev sound is that these are two strokes, so they might always sound faster than a comparable 4-stroke would sound.
Happy new year
I love your video!
Thanks!
Were you visiting Chicago from New York? If so hope you had a great time here!
Very nice video!
Thanks!

Still wonder why they not using elctricty for railways?
its expensive silly
I feel that one train Leaves and one Arrives
@ 8.42 sec. What type of apparatus is that yellow car?
It's a Trackmobile that is used for switching.
Hey man. Great railfanning video. Metra railfanning videos are always super fun to watch. I’m working on a video talking about Metra, and I was wondering if I could use this video in my video? I will credit you and link this in the description
How to even get into 16th street tower?
Wow great compilation subscribed... Love from indian RAILFAN💕🙏
Thanks!
Would have enjoyed seeing the amtrack trains there the ones ride
Intetesting video. I have to say that the rail infratructure and operation appear quite dated for 2021.
I Agree. It seems so Old School. I Love it!
Why were the doors open while in motion on some metra trains?

Why were you kicked out?
It kinda sucks when security tells you to stop recording :(
Were you actually in 16'th street tower?
No, just near it.
Those bloody bell’s I couldn’t work with that noise.
Are the trains in the first (big) track from left being put together all the time?
Why bnsf in The side of The coach?
Because they are used on the bnsf line, which is owned and operated by bnsf.
@@thebridgeportkid1 Metra owns the equipment, but contracts BNSF to run the line
Daily Commute, it's always this busy, even during the night.
Good video!!!
And even BVB Dortmund in Chicago...
I wish I were engineering metra trains right now, but I’m 11, but almost 12
there is some infatuation about these big machines which no other machine will ever fulfill.
I wonder how many F40s are still in service on Metra's roster?
EvanF1293 all of them
@@BNSF1848 You sure I think some might of been pulled by now since metra has lots of locomotives and perhaps to many
EvanF1293 yes all are still operating, as you can see, many are being rebuilt
@@BNSF1848 oh but yeah I do know some are getting rebuilt

Very good video.

0:52 look on the left N E W Y O R K C E N T R A L
