Watchdogs 2 had a great feel. It fixed nearly every issue that was in WD1 and made the game so smooth. WD1 had the best storyline (imo) but WD2 had those fun and tech savvy missions. WDL is cool and different, being the only game where you could be literally anybody but the side missions completely overpower the main missions. If the beginning scene from WDL was stretched longer with Dalton being a “main character” then it would have been a lot more enjoyable
I can't believe they remove 1 most important thing in the game that makes me love watch dogs 2 more than GTA 5 They remove the music player. I love that feature so much in Watch Dogs 2 and roaming around the world with the in game playlist and I hoping that I would able to hear Stormzy song while doing epic kill streaks but its a big let down for me!!!
I replayed watch dogs 2 a couple months ago, and I still fondly remember just about every story mission. I played watch dogs legion a week ago, and I barely remember half of the story. Watch dogs 2 is just so much more memorable and vibrant honestly it's just more fun of a sandbox.
That's pretty much because 90% of Legion's missions are *Sneak into enemy territory and steal this data* while the missions in the first 2 games felt actually unique.
Watch Dogs 2 is the best in the series. I actually got the Platinum for that game. It was so fun, the colors were beautiful, the map was fun to explore and the story was pretty cool too. I don’t like how Legion doesn’t have a focused story without a main character.
Honestly, I really don't need a good story if the gameplay is unique and fun and it keeps me entertained the whole way through. If a game can do that, it's already a good game in my book. It doesn't have to be a good story, if it's a good experience
Honestly I dont understand how you dont have at least one million subscribers already. Your content is top-notch - no unnecessary bullsh1t. Just absolutely fair and professional comparison of (in my opinion) the most important part of games - visuals. I already recommended your channel to my friends and my brother because you really deserve more subs.
Im loving every second of WD:Legon; loving the wacked out characters, the otc accents, the slightly cyberpunk London, the fact that it looks like London and being in London ( I grew up there), the pub, a game of darts when sloshed, the James Bond style start😀😃
Is it accurate? I was soo disapointed with Watch Dogs 2, I live in near San Francisco so I check the whole map and they got only 60% accuracy. They left out a lot.
Watch Dogs 2 was a really good game, took me 3 weeks to platinum it, by playing mostly casual and still think it was mostly a good time, will surely try Legion soon.
The main downside for me on legion is the world interaction, the simple things like calling the cops on people or causing a blackout, maybe you can do this later on but im not far into the story yet so I'm keeping my head up....
I've not got too far myself (only unlocked one region) but I get the feeling those two game mechanics aren't there as Albion now control security & can jam the area from hacking very quickly once they suspect Deadsec. In this game Deadsec aren't just a small hacker group working in the shadows like WD 1 & 2, they've become what's considered a large scale terrorist rebellion. So in theory it's harder to dupe the police/Ctos system, in most part this is due to the drones patrolling the city. The gameplay doesn't reflect the harder to Hack so much though, other than the quicker jamming/signal lockdown. They can however take your control away from vehicles & drones quite quickly so there is that I suppose.
the whole recruitment implementation added to the game really made the developers forget everything else that's crucial and important to the game apart from the open world of course. Most of the stuff were badly executed and the voice acting is incredibly abhorrent. Im uncertain about the main narrative and i can only presume it being terrible because of the badly acted voices that's so unfitting and boring dialogues. Just like any other ubisoft games, great concept bad deliverance.
I love the lighting in watch dogs 2 and the bright colors makes the game look better other games come off darker don't game well we all have our preferences I like my games bright and colorful
Watch Dogs 2 is one of my favourite open-world games. I wish they had just one with 1 protagonist or at least switching between a few GTA V style. I think playing as anyone kills any interesting story.
@@knoxctry1569 I never said that it looked like the 2012 E3 gameplay, I said that it reminds me of the graphics of the E3 showcase since I mentioned the Ultra graphics settings, understand the difference between graphics and gameplay as I would have said the gameplay of legions reminds me of E3 watchdogs 1 before you go and spout out irrelevant crap
@@Cedricisback19 Yeah I guess but at least it's better than Ubisoft completely forgetting him, it is the same thing with watchdogs 2 but hopefully this time there is more detail and we actually get to play as him again
Dedsec isn’t an organisation, it’s an idea. I like that, means each city can have their own version of dedsec and Ubisoft have a lot of avenues to explore with how different people interpret it.
@@mysteryman3054 He meant that Dedsec isn’t an official organization like "Hey, we are the OG Dedsec in america! We’re the first." but it’s more like a motive where they go by. There’s no Dedsec London but everyone fighting against their oppressors can call themself a Dedsec member.
I'm playing Watch dogs: Legion right now and my biggest issue is how easy the game is frankly. I don't play games on hard generally, but I did with this one, but even that wasn't enough, so I stopped using the cargo drone and spider drone as well unless there was no other choice because they made completing virtually any mission ridiculously easy. My secondary problem is that while being able to turn any NPC into a playable character SEEMS like a great idea, the reality is I don't give a flip about the story, whether I use lethal force or non-lethal and I don't care about the characters, none of them. The closest thing to a decent character they have is Bagly and aside from the jokes, he's just annoying. Watch Dogs 2 is in my opinion a by FAR better game all around. Loved the story, cared about the characters and had the right amount of difficulty for me. Not to mention Legion's British accents and tropes are really annoying. I lived in the UK around London for 5 years and not everyone sounds like a bad stereotipic representation of how a Brit sounds to Americans. Not impressed with the game at all
@@iingardinhio6173 An example of the voices just being annoying is one of the boroughs unlocked a specialist operative for me who is supposedly an older spy operative turncoat with a James Bond style car with missiles. Instead of what I expected to be a calm, collected and more sophisticated voice, they made her sound like a 20-year-old who is pumped to just be included with a pretty janky accent. It's really off-putting and super annoying.
@@donkeykong656 The driving is significantly better so no worries there, but with the inclusion of the cargo drone I rarely drove and rode the drone everywhere until I decided to stop using it
No all games are to hard, even with trainers they are way to hard, there shall not be any challenge what so ever in a game. Do you want a challenge to watch a movie as well or when you go on vaccation?
True but I won't feel like I'll get bored with watch dogs. I would love to see them release a new one in Europe or in Asia especially modern Japan where most players will feel attracted to. We got to see Hong Kong with sleeping dogs which was greatly done. Assassin's creed in the past and watch dogs for the future
Great comparison! Thank you for that. I'd love to see a comparison between Legion and Assassin's Creed Syndicate, as both of them take place in London. It will be pretty interesting to see what changes Ubisoft has made to the architecture and overall theme of the city.
I like both games ,but 2 has to be one of my favorite open world games of all time. Compared to legion, there's just a lot more character and minor details that make the game sooo good for me. The camera bobbing to the main character's walk speed, the character's attitudes, the nerdy references, the on the nose reference to Ubisoft San Francisco, the music app that had you find the songs yourself and aloud you to make your own playlists, The selfie app with a comment section, the uber minigames that had their own little chunk of originality, how you can actually go in clothes stores, how hacking uses battery life instead of a basic cooldown, you can call the cops and gangs on people, you had to worry about people calling cops on you instead of them just immediately knowing. It all felt like I was living there more than legion, where it feels more like a simulation to me. I feel where legion failed was not having enough time, they had to focus so hard on the new gimmick, that it had to sacrifice all the minor details that made the second game so good.
Watch dogs legion will have 4 player co-op and 8 player co-op for free roam. The 4 player co-op will be able to do all the activities while the 8 player co-op will only be able to do free roam
It's pretty common to see people with mismatching voices in real life aswell.. Voices that doesn't fit in with own expectations, so it's pretty realistic in that aspect I think.
you can't go into a store to buy clothes in legion :( no music player in legion :( no main marcus in legion :( I'm struggling playing legion :( I played wd2 2x and will be playing a 3rd :) I wish 2 was the new one :(
Very important part here: in Watch Dogs Legion if an enemy spots you, no longer does every enemy know exactly where you are. Now, they spot you and engage and any enemies nearby also engage but the whole place won’t be alerted unless you pull out a gun or run away.
But that actually makes the game more challenging in my opinion.I think thats why they kept it.But seems like the new dev on wdl dont care about challenge.
After finishing the story and all the side missions. Watchdogs legion has left me with a sense of... emptiness. I never was satisfied with my efforts and the people never felt important. Watchdogs 2 is still my favorite game due to the difference in approach on charcters and from collectable stuff, the way vehicles work and how you could upgrade and use the 3d printer to create dedsec drones/RC's and weapons. In this new "Advanced metropolis" you would think the Watchdogs 2 order system for cars would have been included. If in Legion you had an all powerful smartphone like in Watchdogs 2 and I could summon a vehicle, maybe i'd play the game more to be able to buy vehicle skins or anything really...
Absolutely love legion been playing it all day on release. Comments on the map design... London and San Francisco are such different places so the darkness of London fits perfectly because that’s how it is. The new future take on the game instead of present day set games is so refreshing and works perfectly. Only thing I can say I dislike about the game is the car models, some seem untouched in graphical design being very plain and nothing unique but it makes up for it with all the other aspects of the game.
one think I dislike about Watch Dogs Legion is they removed smartphone one of the most intuative items the Watch Dogs franchise had and they removed certian hacking things/made them limited to a certain operative like traffic light hacking I loved this in Watch Dogs 1 and 2 It was just so funny standing on the sidewalk of a intersection and see everyone blow through a red light and crashing uncontrollably aswell as the vehicle hacking not being limited.
@@ELpatronDC With all respect, as people have the game to play now they're not going to watch you silently play it. It's not particularly interesting. Watch Dogs Legion Pros And Cons Pros: Good Lightning, Beautiful Graphic, Great Story, much Character Customization Cons: facial Expression, Cant Open your Phone, The City Felt Empty Sometime.

I enjoyed the first game the most. I liked the dark story of Aiden Pierce. The second game I've stopped playing after a few hours, and never bothered to continue.
Yeah i feel you. I loved the story of the first game, second game's story while short it was fun to mess around with and could have used some improvement here and there.
i felt the same at first. but one day i decided to pick 2 back up again and just push through the first little bit and then i ended up really likeing it more than i originally did but still less than 1. I prefer 2 for the increase usage of hacking and the drones and quadcopter especially was so handy and awesome for aerial recon and following the hacking streams instead of only have cameras or running around everywhere. Watch dogs was really limiting in terms of what you could do with aiden on the hacking side and the puzzles where you have to switch those little connector things were so much more annoying and difficult with aiden. They really rectified those mini games and made them better and quicker in the sequel and that is where number 2 is leagues better . However yes i did prefer the darker tone and aiden's absolutely OP silenced pistol and baton takedowns. Watch dogs 1 aloud you to go in full stealth if you wished but watch dogs 2 punishes that and really wants you to play around more with the hacking stuff as it is very hard to stealth in the sequel because eventually a certain number of tazer uses and everyones comms will be notified regardless of how sneaky you were. Which for a stealthy player like myself the sequel brought down my rating a few notches based on that alone. It looks like legion is rectifying that again and making stealth a little more viable this time without notifying the whole compound based on the enemy alert types i have personally seen so far. We will see though.
@@irecordwithaphone1856 i find it lacked weight because the lack of character development. For instance heratio the dude is practically absent in every group interactions. Wrench, josh, sitara are always hanging around and you barely see horatio at all yet are supposed to believe him and marcus are super tight. We don't see any of that, we barely see horatio as players our selves and then when his 'moment' comes up later on i was just like okay this would have impact if horatio meant anything to me over the course of this story.
Honestly, I like all the Watch Dogs, but Watch Dogs 1 has to be my favorite out of them all. The vibe to it hits different, especially with the lightning and I also like the map being in Chicago. It felt like a fall/winter vibe which is my favorite season and it was fun doing the random crimes to boost up your reputation. Aiden Pearce is definitely iconic Watch Dogs character 🙌
I dunno why but ı feel like Watch Dogs 2's San Francisco Bay was the most immersive and lived-in world that Ubisoft has ever done, far better than their most other works.
Just to clarify, the albion holograms on the famous landmarks disappear when you liberate an area. By the time you do that, London looks more like it does today. On my next playthrough I will probably concentrate on doing the liberation first (rather than flying around on my construction worker everywhere grabbling tech points).
When it comes to the whole no main character thing, it's why I want to just play as Aiden Pierce, or even Wrench. I hope THEIR characters allow you to play the story with a uniqueness, by being able to play as a character we've seen before
WD2: Story, main character, weapons, vehicles handling, parkour, dealerships, restaurants, atmosphere, npc and feels like in RL WDL: The story about being npc trying to save London against villians 😂, gadgets, tech, customization, graphics, clothes, takedowns, being grandma, cop, spy, medical, beggar, rich, hacker, dancer and visuals are way darker than WD2 WDL Bloodline: Story, Main character (Aiden and Wrench), Villian, characters ability, tech, weapons and interesting story in my opnion: WD2 > WDL ^ WDL Bloodline

The bike and explosion sound in Legion are awful
@ nice cyberpunk pfp

Not as bad as all the effects in WD2
@ get out of my head
Sadly neither of those abilities exist in Legion 😔
the whole recruitment implementation added to the game really made the developers forget everything else that's crucial and important to the game apart from the open world of course. Most of the stuff were badly executed and the voice acting is incredibly abhorrent. Im uncertain about the main narrative and i can only presume it being terrible because of the badly acted voices that's so unfitting and boring dialogues. Just like any other ubisoft games, great concept bad deliverance.

Not impressed with the game at all
I'm English lol and most of the accents don't sound too bad, except the character in the suit and top hat. Idk what they were thinking.
@@iingardinhio6173 An example of the voices just being annoying is one of the boroughs unlocked a specialist operative for me who is supposedly an older spy operative turncoat with a James Bond style car with missiles.
