I prefer wd1 over all of them and 2 and Legion are awesome in their own way. 2 is the best For Exploring and stealth and Legion is the best at Combat.
Watch_dogs 1 gun combat is better.
@AlCeeProd 2.0 firearm combat is still better than 2
@AlCeeProd 2.0 yeah the only firearm takedown animation in WD2 was the vaulting takedown animation. Legion introduced combat roll and reintroduced guntaka so I prefer it more
@@ajayavsm7476 yes gunkata but soooo sooo campy fyi I've played all 3
@@vladimirpolak5203 yes for me my favourite will always be 1's gunplay, but Legion is second place. 2 focused more on hacking than guns and also I never liked using lethal guns as Marcus I felt like it didn't suit his character.
WD1 has the best vibe, the coolest setting, protagonist, and it had those glory kills. WD2 had the best open world, parkour, and hacking. WDL takes huge steps back, but i did like bloodline and loved many aspects of the game, it was also very boring. the gameplay is just not smooth at all and hinders the whole experience. i think the first game is easily the best and its a shame ubi decided not to build on its strengths in the sequels.
6:06 also this contradicts how you said you thought the combat was boring in your review of the game
Wow that is such an accurate description of how i feel about the games, wd1 is my fav i think I've replayed it like 5 or 6 times front to back, when i have nothing new to play i jump back to wd1, sleeping dogs, or mad max for some fun
@@vladimirpolak5203 i miss those types of open world games, now everything feels like recycled/filler content. far cry 6 looks good tho
@@vladimirpolak5203 same
@@vladimirpolak5203 but i stopped playing wd1
I think the bad blood DLC is what the game probably should have been like
I chose to play through watch dogs legion entirely as Aiden Pearce and I was very surprised to find how good the voice acting and dialogue was when playing as him, it made me enjoy legion the most in the series.
Same
I played first through the game mostly with the same npc, and they even have development throughout the game.
In their hideout they become more and more DedSec over time, they getting more used to the killing, hacking and secrets they uncover, overthrough their fears more and more.
And the diffrent personas ur charactors have actually are very charismatic in the game.
Played it like 5 times already.
Play the game with one charactor that u kinda find interesting or funny, and u will get the best expirience of this game.
Wait how did you do this?
@@govindsharma7738 bloodline dlc I think, also you get wrench
wait so u can play the entire base game story missions with aiden?
For me 2 is probably my favorite video game ever, WD1 was also an amazing game. Watch dogs legion was mid, bloodline DLC was amazing and should’ve been the base game honestly. So for me it goes like 2>1>legion
WD2 is King 🤴 🙌 😍 of the series.
@@Retr0Dedsec245 facts. Video games main goal is to be fun. WD2 does that best.
Facts bro my favorite game of all time its just so immersive and the story is nice.
@@solomonlewis7888 story is honestly the worst part of WD2 for me. It’s decent at best. But the gameplay, hacking, mechanics, combat, characters, open world, immersiveness and most importantly the missions and fun are legendary. No game even comes close to having so much fun and amazing missions. Closest games are RDR2 and Far Cry 3
@@ryanelkadi3196 I agree with all the things you said but the story was nice and seeing Dedsec grow was cool
1 is the best then 2, like aiden Pearce is the best character ever, and I feel so attached to it
And the ending was best
One sentence is enough to explain why is aiden the best character:
"Haven't you heard? I am the vigilante. I clean up mess like you."
- Aiden pearce
I enjoyed 1 for story, 2 for gameplay, and legion for dlc
Dude just said he liked just the dlc not the whole game. Today games things....
@@Andrea23ita, that’s a common thing from 2010, if the game sucks, but the DLC is amazing, obviously someone will like that better, and yeah, a lot of us agree, Bloodlines is the best DLC in Legion, it definitely deserves a spotlight.
Aiden Pierce is a legend, glad someone sees W1 for what it truly is
A lie by Ubisoft and long list of video game downgrades. Lol
@@hotfuzz4416 Lol and no one will blame you for that for it's facts.
Ironically people were bitching about Aiden being cold, emotionless, 1D character, which led ubisoft to make WD2 about a hipster group, cracking nerd jokes. I liked both, but people were pissed about characters from WD2 as well... so Ubisoft made the LOGICAL choice of removing main character and making WDL "play as anyone" (which again, I liked)... but people are still bitching :D
@@BeSk9991 🤣🤣nah you seem to like everything. I just thought it would be powerful following a single character or making meaningful ones like WD1 or how GTA games does with theirs. I enjoyed WD2 but Dedsec was made to seem like much of a dark threat in WD1 than the colourful one we got in WD2, but overall it was a great game, just a different tone. Haven't played 3 yet. But will take your word for it until I try it, the fighting and mocap looked epic though.
@@RealLaone there's value in enjoying different things. Every game was unique and I like that 😁
And yeah, I grabbed the base game for 9 euro on steam sale, so go for it, but it's quite requiring for hardware. I use gtx1060 and played on high with 40-50 fps, but occasionally I had fps drops
I've been using Aiden and Wrench for main missions in WDL and I think it improved the experience quite a bit. In one mission where I had to make a choice, I chose the particular option because I used Wrench for the entire arc and played the Bloodline DLC - the option made sense for Wrench.
wait so u can play the base game story with Aiden??
@@fayzaan2030 with the dlc yes.
@@jollyrioger2572 damn so they made the entire story with Aiden's voice acting too
Cause Aiden and Wrench are actual characters, not blank sheets
And the cherry on the top in Watch Dogs 1 is the badblood dlc wich expands even more the gameplay and you have T-Bone as a protagonist
That DLC was awesome, T Bone such an underrated character in the series. I hope he’s in the next WD game
This ranking video leads me to believe that there will be a AC ranking video soon
I 100% agree with this ranking. I only played the whole series for the first time this year, and WD1 is so good. I still think about Aiden sometimes, it was an incredible experience for me. The second one is such a massive graphics difference that it feels incredible after the first one, and I also love the vibe SF has. I also played it fully using only the tazer gun, so that brought a lot of depth. Legion is my least favourite, like by a lot. That doesn't mean I didn't like it, because I got a lot of hours out of it as well. There's just not really anyone to get attached to except for the few random recruits I grew to like, but they aren't really characters
I didn't play watch dogs legion until i got the 4 unique characters including Aiden and wrench and honestly, playing the story with them made the story more interesting in my opinion and i prefer it on wd2 but the original is the very best. This recruitment system has a lot of potential and i hope Ubisoft use it well and make this system even better
As someone who loves the Witcher games’ dark theme, I loved the original Watch Dogs’ story. It reminded me of Geralt’s desire to protect his daughter, friends, and lover(I’m team Yen). I only had the chance to freely play WD1and other games when I got older since I was still young when it came out.
i see u fellow brother
Common Yennefer fan L
@@naethanksleast witcher 3 actually had some good humor and laughs
2 will always be my favourite, got it platinum on ps4 and absolutely loved everything about it. WD1 is only just behind it. WDL was a massive disappointment, I was very exited to play it but then I couldn’t even force myself to play it after less than 12hr play time.
Played only 1st one, liked story, characters, gameplay, everything. I remember most of people got hooked by the graphics on E3 presentation and had high expectations. For me this game was something fresh when it came out. Dark story, Chicago, environments, radio music, everything was perfect. Man, listening to "MGK-Invincible" hidden in a car, watching rain reflections on street, nice feeling. Hacking was involved and I think that gave the game that special element, element that connected everything perfect, because ctOS "everything is connected" 🙂. Vigilante mechanic was awesome too, bit repetitive crime quests, but it was cool to be silent Chicago Vigilante. 2nd and 3rd game are too cheerful if I can put it like that, don't have serious story imo and memorable protagonist like Aiden.
Watch dogs one is my most preferable option due to gameplay and nostalgia I honestly think its the most underrated game in ubisoft history
I really love that WD2 menu music! Everytime I hear it makes me wanna play the game.
Same man its so special
Soundtrack is generally dope
I agree. Watch Dogs 1 is a story you can get deep into. It is such a journey. It’s what made me love the series. It was great when he came back in Legions! Ubisoft did very well.
Watch dogs 2 and 1 have so many memories in my childhood. Watch dogs 2 was beautiful and had such a good vibe with an amazing map. Created so many memories with my little brother
Lemme sum up the comments section: everybody agrees with your ranking, me included! GJ!
i dont hate 1 and 3 plz dont hate me for this but im more attached to WD2 bc i played it before 1 and 3 i just feel like it has something to it that i love but thats my opinion other then that 1 and 3 are great games!
I agree with WD1 being the best one due to tone. I feel like hacking and personal information should be treated more seriously.
great! brief and concise. you see the value story plays in the WD games. hope we get another, but man what a trip it's been.
Same. I haven't played Legion yet, but Watchdogs 1 will always be my favorite. The story, character, and overall tone really worked for me. 2 was fun, but like you said, it felt like the crew was more into trolling than a personally-driven narrative.
I have the most memories with Watch Dogs 2, it makes me almost wanna cry.
I recently played the first one, and that’s cool as well
I played WD for the first time in my life last week when they released Darcy and I felt in love. I haven’t finished WDL base story but I think I’m going back to play 1 and 2 and the finished WDL. Awesome video
I just wanted this vid great work MA!!
I love all the Watch dogs games aswell, but for my own personal opinion, I think 3rd: would be the third installment, 2nd: First installment, and 1st: Second installment.
In Watch Dogs 2 Marcus Doesn’t Use A YoYo it’s Called A Thunder Ball.
I loved the video bro. In fact, I have the same opinion, specially about Legion's (of course when we talk about its last DLC it's a different story).
That's my ranking order too lol. I remember playing the first one whenever it came out and loved it.
I'm enjoying my WD3 playthrough currently, but I think it's worst of three despite it's innovation in areas. I would have liked to have seen the ability to send out your team members on missions. Also, it's too drone reliant unlike the first game.
I’d love to see the NPC system in Legion more fleshed out and tailored to a main narrative with the gameplay and variety from the other games. I think the biggest crime Legion commits is that nearly EVERYTHING Ubi built in the first two games is taken away just for the NPC system. It’s a shame really, because Legion could have been a phenomenal game if it would have continued to build and not detract from the series.
Yeah. A narrative of dual arcs. Fixer vs hacker with competing interests. Or at least shrinking the team to a few main specialists couldve put more investment into their stories.
No more updates Ubisoft pussied out of the updates
The NPCs in Legion start to get generic and repetitive pretty quickly regardless of which operative you use because even the operatives themselves will begin to reuse dialogue and there seems to be only a preset number of specific Mission types for each NPC that just randomizes for each one
Thanks mate you helped me make my decision on which game to get play first
I just bought all 3 as I've never played any of them b4 & I'm starting with 1 & moving to 2 & 3 in order & I must say hands down I'm loving it soooo much so far! And I can't wait 2 play the next 2!
Watch Dogs 1 is my favorite of the series, I absolutely love the dark noir theme. It also fits Chicago and actually has the White Sox and Cubs Stadiums in the game! It takes place in my hometown and I felt the connection with it partially because of that. But with that aside, the characters and story just felt so much better than Watch Dogs 2. Watch Dogs legion on the other hand, is a very solid, but seems to take try hard approach to match the original. I love the recruiting story, as you get to feel the objective of liberating London, but since there is no main character, there isn’t much attachment. Still, I believe Watch Dogs 2 is the most mediocre (even though it is amazing) purely because of its lighthearted tone and lack of a serious motive. The game also makes Marcus a bit of a Pus, if you understand what I’m saying. There’s no serious tone to it and I think that hinders what it could’ve been.
I feel the same way about the 1st game for those reasons that about the team in the atmosphere and also about 2II might sound selfish or narrow minded but I didn't get into any other game besides the 1st one out of disappointment because I didn't want to leave Chicago and the control scheme that I had spent years memorizing.
I was a part of the If community that was into the glitching and platforming aspects so the game map and the control scheme was the most important and was turned off by the changes and improvements to the 2nd game when all I really wanted was just more of the same system with no changes because there were still glitches and parts of the map I had yet to master, So when they made changes to the control scheme it felt like I had to start all over again and I didn't get into it.
WD2 is what introduced me to the WD series, and I absolutely loved it. I recently picked up WD:L while it was on sale and got the original WD with it.
WD2 was super fun, I loved the parkour and takedowns, but like you said the yo-yo 8-ball thingy is a unique weapon, but it's very odd.
WD:L Bloodline was fun and way better than the main story, at least what I've seen in story mode, since I now cannot play it because there's a constant 1fps stutter. But I LOVE the takedowns in it and really like how each character has their own fighting style and takedowns.
I haven't played the original WD yet, and will now play it since I cannot continue with :Legion.
Did you beat it?
@@James-fs9ys I've beaten WD2 and I have about 25 hours of play time in WD1, my save file for WD:L has corrupted so I'm not sure when I'll return to that since I'd have to reset from scratch.
What do you think of watch dogs 1
@@julianv165 wd1 was fun, my 2nd favorite out of all 3 of the games. wd2 is my favorite, awesome parkour, neat story and i like the art style of the game, wd1 is second favorite, the takedowns are awesome and story is cool, wd:l is my 3rd favorite. the 'pick your team' aspect of the game is neat but you can finish the game with mainly Aiden and Wrench. there are some neat abilities or perks with other people but there's only a few that are cool. the fighting, combat, takedowns, and finishers are all really awesome in the game compared to wd1 and wd2. I love the fighting and combat in wd:l the most out of all games but its still 3rd place
Solid list, 110% agree with you. WD1 was up there with GTA4 for me, loved the story and dark feel to it. WD2 was fun, but the story was eh. Haven’t played Legion yet, still debating if I want to or not.
I just started playing the WD Series (like literally a week and a half ago on July 18th 2022) and so far I’ve played through WD2 and Legions, and I’m getting started with WD1. And the entire series has been a blast to play, and Ubisoft did a great job with the Bloodlines DLC, the storytelling was great and basically an ad for WD1 along with giving me enough clues to know what happened without outright making me feel like I didn’t need to play the game.
Watch dogs legion had a lot of missed potential, if it felt like an actual resistance and not 'go here do this' or something like a character story through random events could be awesome, like the nemesis system from shadow of war.
Resistance mode has been the most fun I’ve had in Legion for a while, the city is ruthless and does anything it can to stop you from progressing. Feels like you are fighting an uphill battle against people who genuinely want you dead
@@IvaArtemiev eh still didn't do it for me
Absolutley loved WD1 one of my favourite games ever. Thought WD2 was a fantastic sequel and really loved the different feel it had from WD1 e.g. part of a team, different setting. But haven't played WDL as it just doesn't interest me unfortuneatley, so completely agree with your list!
Aye man, found your channel a while ago and just wanted to say that a really enjoy your content. Btw idk if you were joking with the "jojo" take downs in watch dogs 2 but marcus is using a slingshot wich is a deadly asf weapon and no jo-jo xD
Imagine if they remastered 1 or made an game completely linking to the first part in terms of its style, the dark note and the backstory.
I think 1 is the best. The music is incredible and the part of the game that people don't usually hear about, the music that plays randomly for different encounters perfectly gives off the eerie vibe of the game, go take a listen to Collateral, Jackson's Safety, The Pursuit, and Chicago Chase by Shivaxi on UA-cam. One of the most incredible game soundtracks from Ubisoft, up there with AC4's incredible soundtrack. It has the weakness of side content that is super bland and nothing to really do after you finish the criminally underrated, and amazing story that really gives you the vibe of Chicago somewhat realistically. I can tell u cause I'm from there. The rich north and west sides, the small towns all the way northwest, and the black south side neighborhoods with gangs and crime everywhere. The location, feel, story, music and main character of 1 are incredible, I just wish there was more to do in that incredibly beautiful, and somewhat realistic open world.
Bad Blood is underrated from what I heard, more WD1 goodness from what I've heard, haven't played it yet though. Also set in Chicago, same world map with T-Bone as the main character that goes into the backstories of important side characters from the main game.
I think 2 is the second best because San Francisco is so cool, probably either the coolest or second coolest city in real life in America. It's either this or Chicago in real life, NY is third. In Watchdogs universe though, San Francisco is simply better. The vibe of the original and the class division that made the first game so interesting though is not here, and the goofy characters and story really deteriorated the experience, but the open world is so good that it got second, as well as much better hacking and parkour.
I think Legion is the worst, not to say it's a bad game, but modern London just doesn't have the views or vibe of either Chicago or San Francisco, sure there's cool locations, but AC Syndicates London was just so good, probably the top 3 locations for the series that modern London just doesn't feel original, not bad at all, it's a cool location but not as good as previous. The recruitment mechanic is cool and all but everything just kinda seems pretty similar to WD2, it's still a good game with improved mechanics to 2 but it just doesn't have anything selling it like the other games and it gets quite boring, and the story is nothing amazing like the originals was, WD2 didn't have a great story and got quite boring too, but the location saved it, Legion's doesn't. Still a good game that fans of the series should play, but its not gonna suck new people in.
Bloodlines, don't know much about it except Aiden is in it, haven't played it.
This is just my opinion, I'm not telling you what to think, only what I think.
I feel like watchdogs legion was a great game (especially with DLCs) but it's not a great watchdogs game. I fully agree with the lack of main character part. Watchdogs 1 is one of my favorite games of all time. But my favorite will go to watchdogs 2. Vibrant looking map, the humor and how alive the world looked just really appealed to me.
this. ubisoft seems to have an issue with consistency in their series (eg assassins creed losing the whole assassin aspect)
I like WD2 for messing around and having fun and WD Leigon for the stealth and melee mechanics.
WD 2 is my favorite and was my first platinum game ever. I had so much fun playing it.
I loved the original Watch Dogs. The story, tone, gameplay, most satisfying gunplay. I really didn’t like the story of the other games. Aiden Pierce was so Hollywood with good twists and true character development. Great villain plot too.
Yeah
Very cliché but cool
I'm playing the first one for the first time right now. Just got to Act 3 today and it's pretty enjoyable right now.
Just beware of spoilers
The ending is better to discover it by yourself.
@@Dmintor- I watched a Let's Play back then when it first came out. It's been a while but I think I kinda remember how it ends. But thanks anyway.
I agree with the points on legion and also want to point out the loss of interactivity in it. For example, you can’t go in any of the shops or ride the trains, despite the fact you could do both in previous games
Totally agree with the ranking 👍 sequel for me was killed by weird mechanics virtually eliminating stealth approach in the game.
I honestly think cold heartily that the stealth in the first Watch Dogs is the best. Every time I’m doing anything stealthy in the first one I can always find a way to escape or sneak in to a place with low chance of being detected. I can’t hide around a corner with my taser in the second game without a guard or enemy coming out and saying that I should leave. Not to mention, while I think the second games online mode is fun, I’m not to big of a fan of it because I’ll be doing something completely different that I’m trying to finish and all of the sudden my map marker changes to this online event I’m forced into. Watch Dogs 2 is fun, but I personally like the first best.
You can go into settings and turn off a thing to not be forced into an online match.
Watch Dogs 2 my favourite because I had great memories with it. Watch Dogs 1 is almost close to WD2 but still very close. I haven't played WD Legion but I'm planning to!
@#soundwave I just prefer the other games a lot more legion was pretty lack luster but it’s your own opinion
Completely agree. Aiden pierce is my favorite character in the whole series though I do like wrench. Also the campaign was just fun and I love the ending sort of boss fight.
I just started playing watchdogs and it's pretty sweet. I've died and failed a lot because sometimes I dont know what to do or I'm surrounded and get overwhelmed. But overall, it's really cool with how much freedom you have from driving any vehicle, having a wide range of weapons, to the point where some you dont even have to buy because you've already picked them up, the hacking is awesome, the story so far has been pretty satisfying even though it seemed kinda fast paced. Pretty damn good game though, I'm glad I bought it years after its release and finally started playing it.
WD 1: best story
WD2: best gameplay
WDL: it exists i guess...🤷♂️
Watchdogs: story
Watchdogs 2: open world
Watchdogs legion: combat
I loved the dark and gritty tone in wd1. I wish more games had that tone

WD 2 is my favorite the setting and Marcus just made the game better.
Aden was cool but that type of character is overplayed might not be for Ubisoft games but in media in general….
And maybe myself being black plays apart too but I definitely connected with Marcus especially that noodle mission
i think legion would have been good if instead you can recruit anyone at anytime part of the story is recruiting people and the people you recruit are main characters, kinda like how gta v has 3 playable main characters.
awesome video as always
thank you!
Great video Love the series, sad to see what they did with legion but bloodline saved it, can you make a mafia trilogy video, maybe comparing the games
I think the environment, gameplay, and the story were better in wd2. Granted each has their pros and cons but I think I enjoy free roaming around SF and the surrounding areas more than london and Chicago
I personally would rank them 1- watch dogs 2 2.- watch dogs 3- watch dogs legion
Your videos are so well written. As a "begginer" on youtube, I found it hard to make a script. Or something like that, how do you manage your scripts. I souns so robotic when I read the script:)

@@masterassassin791 Thank you man. I wish you the same. I really like your videos.
not to mention that watch dogs ones soundtrack is just crazy
For me, it definitely goes:

Gameplay: 9/10
Vibe: 10/10
2) Watch Dogs
Story: 9/10
Map: 7/10
Gameplay: 8/10
Vibe: 8/10
3) Watch Dogs: Legion
Story: 2/10
Map: 4/10
Gameplay: 5/10
Vibe: 6/10
Have you even played legion or just watched a stupid gameplay video ?
I definitely agree with this list
Yeah 1 and 2 are even but Legion is meh.
I LOVED Watch Dogs 2 for its world, made it feel so much like California
I favor Watch Dogs 2 because it just felt more full to me. The graphics and cinematics are beautiful and the combat and was fun (yes I enjoyed the yoyo.) one thing I don’t like in any of the WD games is driving, none of the cars in any of the games seem to drive realistically. But turning the steering control up in WD2 helped a lot. Watch Dogs 1 was fun I spent a lot of hours playing it back in the day, it was free so I claimed it years ago maybe 2016 or 17 I don’t remember and my computer at the time was very weak but it ran well enough on lower settings. The story in Watch Dogs 1 is the story I remember most. I remember actually being sad when Aiden lost his niece. Watch Dogs legion I pre ordered, played for 5 hours and just can’t force myself to play anymore. The combat was decent but whats the story line again? Why did they remove the option to steer more? Why can’t I buy cars or guns? Why does the game look like dog shit that got frozen for 2 weeks then microwaved then thrown against a wall scooped up and left to boil in a bag for 6 days? Why did they take the crazy San Francisco people and put them in Europe and make then 100x weirder? Why was WD3 made to be a joke? I don’t judge people who enjoy it if anything I envy you if you do because I can’t get my like $65 back but still I was very disappointed with WD3
200th comment btw would love to see a video on Marcus and San Fran dedsec team, wrench said it got disbanded after events of wd2 but rempart in bloodline said he will finish Marcus Josh Sitara. So a prediction video about wd4 and Marcus would be cool please try to make it. @MasterAssassin
Thank you yo there’s a Ubisoft sale going on right now and I want to get into them so I think I’m gonna get the first one I was digging the legions but seen a few vidoes and didn’t wanna risk it lol
I can't wait to play 2, it's ironically the only one I haven't played yet. I loved how well London was done in legion but other than that the story was laughably bad and I was not invested as much as I tried to be.
Nothing will ever top the feel og Chicago in 1,or the story and character of aiden. I personally want a sequel in Chicago with aiden. Even if aiden is a secondary character and we play as a new young guy with insane parkour/ climbing skills, I would be happy.
I’ve played Watch Dogs 1 but I haven’t played Watch Dogs 2 I should try that out.
I prefer wd2 mainly because of the parkour and the takedowns the stealth is also pretty nice(and animations)
Def agree !! Watch dogs got so much but this was before I actually watch people on UA-cam review things.. rather I saw it when it came out snd played it and it was good
if i was to buy the first watch dogs as i've already played 2 and legions should i buy the complete edition or the standard?
When you put Watch Dogs 1 gameplay when you started number 2 my heart skipped a beat. On a real though I feel like Watch Dogs 2 does have better features than 1 but removed the things that were the best in 1 like takedowns, darker atmosphere, abilities like focus, and I just downright hate the animation for Marcus.
Imo, 1, legion, then 2. I played legion all the way through with aiden and it felt like a watchdogs sequel
Road to 100k let's get in
I miss the WD1 slow mo car kill cams man I felt so badass as a kid
!|! ^Neutralise^!|!
Watch dogs 1 totally deserves the number 1 spot
I enjoyed and think Watch Dogs 1 and Watch Dogs 2 are both equally good. The online in the second game was better, except for the hacking invasions, I preferred them in the first game, Aiden Pearce is one of the best protagonists and is better than Marcus, the villains and characters are better than the ones in WD2, the mini games around Chicago were fun, the story was amazing, and the crafting items and weapon wheel was better, and there was weapon takedowns
Watch Dogs 2 had better hacking, the controls didn’t feel as clunky, the driving was improved, the parkour was freaking awesome, and the side missions were pretty fun. The clothing customization was better.
Legion just became my fav, the online is the best it’s ever been, the amount of content we have been getting is amazing, the gameplay in this game is the best since there are so many different characters that play differently, I loved the mechanics with play as anyone, the story was darker and more fun than Watch Dogs 2’s story, the driving is improved, London and the futuristic setting is done well, Bloodline is the best DLC in the whole franchise. There is more coming down the road too. And the reason why not everyone can have a gun is because it’s London, guns are illegal and they want everyone to be useful for something, that’s the whole point in recruiting people. But I do agree that not being able to buy cars is really stupid.
I love your name in WD2 lmao(MasterDemi-God)
Honestly, it brings me joy that so many people agree that the original Watch Dogs was their favorite. It just had that vibe that I couldn’t shake and I went and replayed the entire game this year and honestly, it held up after so many years it’s mind boggling. I loved every second. The story was dark, grim, and compelling, unlike many other games I’ve played. Aiden was a SUPERB character to follow. It also helped that it really gave me a grounded Batman feel to it, especially since it took place in Chicago where much of the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy took place. Easily in my top 10 games ever which is saying a lot.
I didn't like how they removed the AR games, Digital Trips, Privacy Invasions and Gun Shops in Watch Dogs 2 but I guess it wants you to focus more on the real game itself
its downgrade
I recently played through all of WD1 and I've replayed WD2 like 5 times and got all the achievements. WD2 is the best for me.
I live in California, like rap and computer science, I found WD2 resonating with me the most. It had an urban and nerdy feel to it, which is something I have a hard time finding in real life. I'll have some friends who are are all ghetto and I'll have friends who are superrrr nerdy, but I never seem to find friends in the middle. Also, finding TV shows, movies, and video games are very hard to come by with the nerdy and ghetto theme.
This is why WD2 resonated with me the most. The Tezcas reminded me of the wanna be cholos I used to grow up with and Noodle reminded me of the Google Campus that I saw in the move "Internship." Also, the hype about having a love for tech taking place in Silicon Valley is what made the game that much better for me. Ughh, the game for me is literally perfect.
In the even you don't like the interplay of nerdy and ghetto, California setting nor a happy-go lucky vibe and looking for something a bit more serious, WD1 is definitely the choice for you. I loved playing that game and how I was able to take the criminals a little bit more seriously; however, I found going against the fixers to be a bit annoying. Why would there be that many mercenaries in Chicago? Chicago is gang-ridden and I feel like WD2 was actually more realistic in that aspect having gangs like the Tezcas, 580s, Sons of Ragnarok and the Auntie Shu Boys. SF is a much more affluent cities, yet they don't fixers like WD1, they're much more realistic showing how gangs are the issue in SF and Oakland; whereas, WD1 I feel were a bit hyperbolic showing how much $$ Chicago has when in reality most of their crimes are based on poverty too.
Secondly, I feel Watch Dogs 2 mechanics are wayyyy smoother. The Goblin in WD1 is a burst fire which was very cumbersome to use; whereas, WD2 it was automatic and VERY accurate. Secondly, the driving was much smoother in WD2. I feel this is a bit unfair, because I remember hearing that the game engine WD2 was built on was meant for driving games so that's why they have the advantage there. IMO, WD2 driving mechanics are smoother than WD1, GTA V, and WD Legions. Hot take ik 😂 Another thing to note were the drivers and pedestarians were extremely annoying in WD1. The drivers would drive slow and as you're trying to cut through the middle of 2 lanes with a motorcycle, a car would usually lean towards you ending up in a collision. This didn't happen as much in WD2. I'll admit WD1 has better stealth gameplay, but the combat in WD2 is by far superior and smoother than WD1. (I should make a video at this point, sorry guys 😂)
Anyways, the WD series will always have a special plate in my heart, but WD2 is the best out of the series for me, PERIOD!
Does this mean you will also rank all assassins creed and far cry games as well
I know this is very late but for starting a new game what if I copy my current save file to a usb. Then start a new game and copy that to a usb also in a separate folder then is it possible to switch saves via that method?
Hello Master Assassin
These are my rankings
Watch Dogs 2
Watch Dogs
Watch Dogs Legion
From the best to worst?
@@bartekwojownik959 Yes
WD 1 by far I agree. The atmosphere, music and main character. WD 1 I can play again. WD 2 was OK but wasn't memorable like the first. WD3 is fun to try but weird.
So true. You did the right ranking.
having just played watch dogs 1 for the first time a few weeks ago after putting it off for a few years due to not having much interest in the hacking features i ended up liking the game quite a lot and am looking forward to jumping into WD2 later on today despite the different tone (also clara and jordi should have had their own DLCs that were supposed to happen)
Hows wd2??? I almost bought it today still thinking bout it
@@AGUAPO Strange story but awesome gameplay
I just platinumed WD3 a couple of days ago and finished the bloodline DLC afterwards and had the exact same feeling about the DLC being a better experience than the actual game.
It made me want to play WD1 again and as soon as I started the game again (last time I played it was when it first released, 7 years ago) and boy I agree with everything you said about this franchise.
Legion felt as being the weakest of all three narratively speaking, and WD1’s mature tone is exactly what makes this game the #1 of the series.
I just found myself walking around (not running, literally just walking), profiling people and stealing their money, the game is made in such a way that it’s actually enjoyable to listen in on their conversations and read their bio.
Why did so many great ideas from the first game simply disappear?
Some of the gadgets (lures), ongoing crimes you can stop, the driving in Legion feels slow and clunky no matter which car you use, in WD1 you have a real sense of speed… motorcycles in WD1 handle great (handled like shite in Legion)…
The whole “recruit operatives” idea wasn’t bad in WD3 but nearing the end of the story it was such a pain in the butt to try to go in stealth mode, choosing an adequate character for stealth, only to have a scripted gun fight at the end for which you are completely helpless because your “stealthy” character doesn’t have good weapons or gadgets…
The whole point of leveling up a character with new skills is to have these new skills on top of the existing ones, not as a replacement, and unfortunately that’s what Legion did, everytime you change operatives, you lose something in return….
I could go on forever, point is, WD1 was by far the better experience in my opinion
Totally agree with everything you said.
Agree with the list aiden and watch dogs 1 setting and execution is unmatched!
In my opinion wd2 is the best and also my favorite, I love wd legion tho
I like Legion> WD2>WD1 very controversial but idc. Lol😂
I respect your opinion
Although i don't like it
But every one has his own personal opinion
mine is the exact reverse lol
