Update for anyone coming across this video now. Could not get used to this mouse, seems like the general consensus is that you click with it pretty quickly or you never will. Traded it with someone for a Superlight which some of you here suggested I may like, so I plan on reviewing that sometime soon.
@@simply_based There's already a ton of reviews for the superlight so I haven't bothered to make my own. Its fantastic and I have been maining it since I got it.
Yeah I've tried a bunch of mice and it's easily my main. I don't think this is a "maybe I'll get used to it" type mouse. Either it clicks or it never will imo
I've used the GPX for about a year, I switched to a HyperX pulsefire haste and I felt like a new person in game. The Pulsefire just sits so perfectly for me, the weight is fantastic, the heavier switches are crispy. I received my G303 SE and it has felt so uncomfortable using it. Same issues you have, when spraying in csgo, the front of the mouse will lift. I also found that my thumb will randomly hit the rear side button. I can lay my hand on the pulsefire with little to no pressure, if I try the same with the G303, I'm practically digging the mouse into the pad. Disappointed that the shape isn't for me. The only thing that I'm looking forward to now is a wireless pulsefire haste with close to the same weight.
Very hard for me to believe you would not reccomend this mouse for playing an FPS like apex. Imo it's perfect for fps gaming..after all we are talking about a mouse designed for Shroud himself hand. I'll be honest, I did not like this mouse at first. I put it back in the box. I never gave it a real chance because the shape was so awkward for me. I decided to bring it back out recently and really give it a shot and man I'm so glad I did. I love everything about this mouse.
I play Valorant and got this mouse cheap from a friend. I liked it immediately and would never want a different mouse. It does seem to be extremely niche, seems 2 out of 10people like it. Do not order this mouse unless you have been able to try it out first, it looks damn sexy but very different from the what you are used to probably. The price is too high unless it’s perfect for you.
I am using one for 9y now in summer. Love the amount of buttons. Really fits my hand. It is heavy, but since it fits my hand so good I startet thinking about its weight only last year haha
Handsize 21x11cm fingertip. I've been using mine for two days, and I'm definitely playing better with my OG G303. The main issue I'm having is that the V shape is way too aggressive. those side bumps protrude a lot more than my OG G303, and it's hurting my ring finger. I just put some grip tapes on the sides, I'll see in a couple days if it helps or not. I waited years for the G303 to come back, and it's a shame that logitech had to mess up the shape.
how'd the grip tape workout? i'm waiting on official grip tape to be released for it, but which one did you use? having the same issue about the feel so wondering if grip tape will help.
The mouse works pretty well for me and supplies what I was missing in other mice, something like stability/consistency. Going from a scuffed claw grip on the gpx to a more normal relaxed claw/palm hybrid on the g303. Lots of control and smooth steady lines. I don't like the scroll wheel either, and I do play Apex and it's not as good as the gpx for movement but I'm getting used to it and I'll think it'll be fine in the long run.
i think it depends if your palms are wide enough and if your fingers are also long enough to really get good clawgrip on it. I broke my gpx but my grip always felt unstable on it so i just bought the new se g303 so hopefully i like it. It fits a lot of my needs so why not try it out.
3:45 you rant about the side button placement, and it couldn’t be more correct. this is the biggest flaw in my opinion aside from any rear pressure causing the front to lift up.
Waiting for the superlight review, that's what I'm rocking, considering trying the 303 but I think I prefer the g pro wireless shape over the g305, which seems close to the g303. I'm having ocassional latency issues with the wireless for quickswitching after shooting, it'll pickup my wired keyboard input before my wireless mouse input and I won't end up shooting, whereas the same timing on wired peripherals yields success. Logitech, please fix. Still can't justify going back to wired over the seemlessness of no cable.
I absolutely hate when the front of the mouse lifts which seems to happen a lot to me when I am playing Valorant and Apex, I used the GPX Superlight prior to the G303 SE and I am highly considering switching back and returning the G303 SE. The scroll wheel is just awful too lol, and the side buttons seems so oddly placed for the way you are supposed to hold it. In Valorant I use MB4 to Push to Talk and it is so awkward to do that with the G303 SE.
Great video mate. Really helped me figure out why I couldn’t get used to the mouse. I think this mouse despite being a technically great mouse and feeling great in the hands for general use just isn’t for me. Time to stop sinking time into it I think. Edit: also that front lifting is the nail in the coffin I noticed it at first and it’s just not working for sure now
i also have my thumb in the same way you do, so its very weird gripping the new 303 without changing grip styles, but i also have short but wide hands. my hands shouldnt work with the 303 but for some reason, it just sits in my hand so well. i lose a decent amount of micro movement with it but i was instantly as consistent with it as i was with other mouse i put time into. only thing that sucks is because its so aggressive i find my ring finger getting a bit tired after a hour or two. i just put a couple layers of grip tape near the bottom to make it more of a straight side on the right side, fixed it somewhat but not enough. i hope they release a mini version with the same updated shape but i doubt they would because logitech :/
I own a deathadder v2. No real issues with the quality, but I don't like the shape personally. I just find that I aim poorly with it and am not very comfortable.
Just looked some stuff up about it for a little bit after reading this comment. Looks interesting, maybe if I find it on sale at some point I'll try it out. Shape is pretty similar, but the hump is a bit more forward on the XM1.
Man, your hand is just too small for this mouse. I have no problems with buttons and grip, though my big finger isn’t flat (it’s actually perpendicular to the side). Shape forces you to do what you said about only if your hand isn’t big enough
I swap around too much so I can't call anything a main right now. If you're wondering if the pulsefire haste is good I can tell you its a fantastic mouse and I highly recommend it.

Seems a lot of people don't seem to like shape but I absolutely love it , of all my mice it felt the most comfortable for me right off the bat.

Ill probably never like it then cause it's still not "clicking" :(
@@redprotocol1 I know the feeling , I have like 6 mice that were like that for me
The mouse is for bigger hands, going to be uncomfortable for ppl with small hands

Wireless pulsefire haste with a better sensor would be endgame for me. Great mouse
ha same i got the gpx too and i tried pulsefire haste and it felt crazy in a good way

Listening to this review while using my old, very very used G303 with my G303 Wireless on the way. Can't wait!

Its too bad logitech dont include some grip tapes or something like some other mice that are way cheaper do.
Quick question if you don't mind bro: Does it have the same clicks (not switches, the click implementation) as the OG G303? Those are gorgeus.

What I learned about the mouse is that it's strictly a claw grip mouse. This ain't for someone who enjoys paling their mouse.

I dont think logitech have ever released a mini version of a mouse before so i have 0 hope for that ever happening
They should just make a normal wireless G303.
Sadly I doubt that will happen.

which one is better, hx haste or g 303 shroud edition?
Very different mice. I prefer the hx haste more 100%
