Razer includes Kailh switches and perfect skates on their Orochi V2. It can be opened without destroying the skates. That thing was $42 today. And Logitech includes those bad skates and cheap Omrons with pre-travel on their $130 mouse. It's so overpriced it almost makes me sick. Anyway, the Orochi V2 is the best shape I've ever used and I got a great price on it. No complaints whatsoever on the build. One of the best built mice I've ever felt.
i have the orochi myself and the build quality degrades over time and makes the main clicks feel mushy. and the battery life kinda sucks too. other than that its a good mouse but not my endgame.
I see people complain about the gpw superlight feet and I dont get it. I love the skates on them. These are prob just as good and 99% of people like them.
Impressions from a small hand user who loved the old g303: I've got 16cm x 8.5cm small hands, and I loved the old g303 and still have it to compare to but the new shroud edition just feels massive. I know it's only a few mm's difference, but it's the width especially that makes it a deal breaker for me. I use a mostly fingertip grip style so I definitely can't have a mouse this wide, I feel like right where I grip the mouse is at it's widest part so it forces me to either fully palm the mouse or like half-claw it but then my fingers sit pretty far back on the triggers in claw. I currently use a Viper Ultimate and even though it seems like a much larger mouse the fact that it's low and narrow allows me to to still fingertip grip it properly (although my dream mouse I'm waiting for is either a Viper Mini Ultimate or lighter g305 without the battery and rechargeable because either of those would be a lot better for me size wise). I also have the g305 or original wired g pro (which is the now g305 shape) and those mice are wayyyy smaller in comparison. It's just the width and sharp angle that makes it feel super wide to me. It could also be because my hands are so short length wise I end up holding the mouse further back than most people, if I could hold it infront of where the angular shape juts out like I did on the old g303 I could probably use it fine, but it's just too wide where I can hold it for me. Again, I have tiny girl hands so this may be perfect for other people, but I think the width alone makes this more like a med/large mouse than a small mouse. For people with hands anywhere close to mine, even within a cm or so I wouldn't waste your money on it. I have like a 20+ mouse collection so I'll probably just keep it for reference but it's definitely too wide for me to use, I just know even if I tried to get used to the new shape I would be hindering myself by forcing myself to hold the mouse in a different grip style than I usually do.

idk if they changed the feet but the feet feel great and I hated the stock feet on the gpro, the switches feel good but its just as easy to physically double click when rushing as on the GPX. The feet are rounded on my copy and oddly don't feel they needed any break in. the main point of this mouse is its not a safe shape and has a sensor position further back that feels great. all in all its a great choice for those with large hands that are sick of the options for grip given on the GPX style shape
Yo if possible can you do a weight reduction on the harpoon rgb pro, i know its a odd mouse but i find that this mouse could have lots of weight reduced from it
The problem i have with this mouse is the price, 130$ for this? You get 20M Omron for this price? C'mon even freaking Steel Series Rival 3 has better switches for about 30$, let's not mention Razer Viper Mini. Don't know man, it feels like they rly tried to bank on shrouds name to push this mouse out there. Another issue i have with it, is the shape. they made it with shrouds hand hand in mind, so the dimensions actually differs from the original 303.
Any recommendations for a guy with 19/10 hands who loves the g303 and wants a simillar palm-claw/relaxed-claw mouse with higher build quality and more reasonable price?
@@oku1317 imo g303 has a better shape. Appearance doesn't matter, and weight was unfortunate but not ultimately a dealbreaker. Shape is definitely preference, but imo g303 best mouse shape ever.
