I think that Instagram automatically loads to youtube, and visa versa. I guess what I'm saying here is that this is Sammy's channel on youboob.... I mean youtube.
Friend introduced me to acid bath back in high school. I’m 37 now. My musical interests have changed over the years as with most people I assume. But acid bath is still in the play list. I mostly listen to classic rock now from the 60s and 70s but strangely acid bath gives me that same good feeling I get when listening to classic rock. In my opinion acid bath was one of the greatest bands of all time. It never gets old always sounds amazing no matter how many years go by. Thank you guys for recording two of the greatest rock albums of all time. I hate that it ended but from what Dax has said in interviews after the accident and the fact that he was going in a different direction musically it just was time to end acid bath. Makes me sad honestly but will always have those two masterpieces.
I remember the first time I saw Acid Bath play was at an old skate rink in Houma and I saw Sammy on stage with that Ibanez V. I did a double take and actually asked him if it really was an Ibanez (I yelled, he nodded) At the time Ibanez wasn't making V's and I had never seen one before. I made it my mission to get one and a couple of years later found one in a pawn shop. To this day I still own an Ibanez V
Hey Sammy! P.B. here, that's Fucking awesome that you showed that guitar! I used to do vocals for a band called Cystic Dysentery from Jax FL. we opened for GW. AND SG. a few times. My guitarist used to jam with Zack Noland back in the day. Anyway had to get away from that guy. I'm so proud to see you picking up the torch and carrying it forward for us Acidbath Fans. You and Y'all have been a true inspiration to everything I do Musically. I'm currently working on a new project. "I Am Defection!" Kinda like if Acidbath impregnated Mastodon, Today is the day, "place your favorite band here" I hope that you are doing well. Keep up these awesome videos bro! Your welcome in this band any day! #wickeddivebombinc. #shortfusestudios.
That's pretty awesome. I definitely remember u playing that guitar. I keep issing these fucking videos on Sundays......I would have asked you why did you get rid of it?
For active pickups he uses seymour duncan blackouts (which also come stock in his ESP signatures) and for passive pickups he mostly uses lollar db's but he does have other guitars with different pickups that don't get used live, not sure about studio use though
Subscribe for more acid bath and related stuff
I’m curious how you get all of these videos? Does Sammy do all of this off of Instagram live or something and you just upload them on here?
@@Weare-ng5nh yup
