If they've actually got bandwidth (since they also are on all upcoming content - and are often going to be working on content that's months ahead of anything hitting the PTR, let alone live servers). I have no doubt they've got good people working there, but the game is large and they're now working with a smaller team at a breakneck speed for MMO development - whole expansions in less than 2 years while actively developing the current xpac. If that team is stretched super thin or blizz is relying on outsourced QA/AI (and let's face it, with the current translation issues in non-english languages we KNOW they're leveraging AI), these things are going to fall off the map. It's quite likely that their team leads EXPECT these things to fall off the map, too, and it's a risk they're willing to take and ship because it's not bad ENOUGH to hit their profitability. Wheras they think they'll retain more attention and make more money from the speed they're pushing things out. And then part 2, it's likely that their database is a GIANT Pain to navigate and script a change to remove achievements without any knock-on effects. If they hit people with Season long Bans along with those who were going along with the exploits to get gains, they would start to see people questioning using things like this. After the first time with a season long ban, doing an expansion long one, you'd really see people question themselves if they really want to risk doing something like that. Now doing it and not knowing how it was being caused if a different issue too. But this exploit requires you to do very specific things to cause it to happen so its a thing that you do know not something you stumble upon by accident one random time and wonder what the hell was it that happened.
That will either not happen, bcs a disguntled player might stop playing, so no money to be gained, or it will happen, and the offender just hops on another account and keeps doing it. The only way to fix this is to bring back more empluees into blizzard, start the GM programme again and work on the issues...which is not going to happen, bcs you gotta pay peiple to work, and means less money to the goblins up top. If you are going to exploit with these rouges invalidate all of your runs even your +2's ban for the rest of the season then require them to pay for each month they were banned in order to reenable their accounts or rebuy the game and make a new one. There has to be something done.
sck for WW has a list of things that cause it to stop at any point in its channel - still hasnt been fixed since it was introduced when they changed the functionality for sck ONLY for WW which in itself was a horrible change....

They need to fully ban and reset the stats for m+ that's a huge issue for those players that busted their ass. Im not even close to that but that's insanely unjust

Aren't these the same people who are driving the gameplay as we know it today, by giving 'feedback' to the Blizz team?! The rtwf has really broken the game, imo. It was cool in BC when the gate got opened by chasers, I was genuinely excited for them.
Don’t know how or why someone else cheating an achievement takes away from the effort that you and your guild have put in. You guys earned it, you have the memories of earning it. Let blizz handle the others be happy you’re a great and legitimate player.
i just got done a LFR blackrock and a lvl 44 shadow priest was doing 80 million dps. bosses were dead in under 8 seconds. this is not a scaling issue. they did 10x the damage as the entire raid combined. good video. agree with everything. string'm up by their pinky toes.
That's how low level scaling works. Queue into a timewalking dungeon at level 10 or any other dungeon at level 10 with the rest of your party as high as they can be and you'll do 95-98% of the overall damage.
I dunno, I see these things and I keep thinking that companies are just trying to reach MVP (minimum viable product) as much as it is possible without tanking the sales.
I appreciate your passion, but you know EXACTLY why Blizzard hasn't fixed anything in their Store Mount Simulator disguised as a game. I'm a Turtle WoW Enjoyer now but I really do enjoy retail raiding. It's very fun imo and high action.
What's so crazy about this patch specifically, is who was clamoring for this? If this patch came out in three weeks, I don't think anyone would have been crying about it. This patch was 100% an unforced error. They could have taken significantly longer to get PTR results and info than they did, but for some reason they really felt like they needed to rush out a patch when nobody was being vocal about a lack of content.
They should get fixed but not punished. If you use a spec exploit to kill an LFR boss or normal boss fast I don’t think that’s a big deal worthy of punishment. Using it for your guilds first silken court mythic kill is another story
@Aaron_J619 No just use your brain a person speeding 2 mph shouldn't get punished like someone speeding 50mph over. There is a way to punish people on different levels of engagement with the exploit. It's not an ALL OR NOTHING thought process.
@@AutomaticJaksorry Jak, I disagree. Using it in the open world, that's whatever. Using it for any progression, that's a bannable (lfr, normal, heroic, mythic). These people know exactly what they're doing
I agree with you 100% here Jak - but don't you think people should have been banned for using Preservation Evoker in the RWF then? Engulf was bugged and did uncapped healing. (I have never seen a healer in RWF that was this strong)
Very big difference between “ability does too much output” vs “jump thru a hoop, spin three times, hit a critter, swap specs and now you do 50% more damage”
I think there are some players just don’t care. They feel like if the game allows it, then it is allowed. Blizzard has never been consistent on any of these issues over 20 years. They are just interested in keeping people playing the game. If that means that they allow people exploit/cheat, then so be it.
OK so yesterday on storm rage all I saw was 11+ and up for mythic. And then this morning when I got on, it was back to normal like all those people got banned because I didn’t see any 11s anymore or 12 or 13.
No ones talking about the bugged scaling in tinewalking and the raid Ive had multiple groups where dudes come in 1 shotting everything and i have no choice but to participate or get a 30 min ban for leaving lfg/lfr... i dont want to cheese gear i just want the game to function ffs
Youre actually spitting with incentivized PTR. Not nearly enough people are playing to get the sample size and cover enough of the niche weird shit. More testers = more feedback = more knowledge. It's also crazy that these discords can play the rework for a day or two and compile an entire list of mis-interactions. I get some going through like you said. But how is a PLAYER, (albeit a very knowledgeable one) unable to even see the back end, tell you everything wrong with your work within 48 hours of its release. Im aware its much harder than it appears. But at some point people are gonna start yelling to contract the class apl writers to do their internal testing for them. Youd also think by now blizz would be testing any and every new ability on critters these days with how many scaling bugs there are involving them lol.
I'm not being racist or anything, but I feel like this has been obvious and a fact, so I'll say it. The more Chinese players in the game, the more cheaters it gets for any games. They really don't even feel a slightest shame climbing the ladder one by one.
this does suck for high keys and title range people and 100% should have been tested and agree with every point in the video. BUT these mean absolutely fuck all for the casual player base that don't do mythic, that dont do high end m+ and even pvp to some extent. pvp is probably the only one where it actually matters for the casuals since it just makes it not fun what so ever (not like pvp is fun but people seem to like it)
Great vid Jack. Blizz is kinda sleeping on making a polished game and it feels like it's getting worse. Pretty sure this lack of polish, balance, clean game is gonna make me unsub. Don't really know why I pay for a product that just kind of sucks, not from a content but from a playability perspective
The PvP trinkets should be bannable? Literally using items that you have to work for that blizzard makes? That’s probably the only point you mentioned here that I don’t agree with. Fix it so they don’t work but make it punishable? No
Not gonna talk about fired up at all wasn’t an accidental exploit was intentional cheating video comes off super disingenuous when you just casually leave that out no way he doesn’t know or forgot he should’ve been banned just like these bug abusers
yeah firedup wasnt very egregious because tbf that was reported months before on the ptr. whats crazy was echo automating macros (meeres called for macros in vc to disguise it too) and got away with it lmfao
I can get that you are mad about 0.1% M+ title being in jeopardy because of exploits, but why would you cry if some guild killed boss with exploit ? You don't lose anything.
Ban them all for 90 days and people will stop… start taxing ban everyone in the guilds that used the rogues for 90 days everyone in the party of those. M plus keys and if it’s not the first time give them 6 months ban… people will stop messing around
Blizzard really needs to go scorched earth - follow something like FFXIV - it's strict sure - but honestly, it's the best time I've ever had learning and progressing even in a PUG setting... WoW and a good portion of its player base... is a massive embarrassment.

Remember ZG days when everyone just exploited Raptor boss and we all loved each other 😢
If they hit people with Season long Bans along with those who were going along with the exploits to get gains, they would start to see people questioning using things like this.
We cant win :)
blizzard let it go its not cheating ban players who say ban how about that cry baby
@@farmerjoseph8683 trying to decipher this this gave me an aneurysm....what? you are an exploit enjoyer? a cheat user? hope you get banned if that is the case :)
We gonna mention how nothing happened to Imfiredup over his exploit? Precedence has been set on the world stage.
It was working as the to tip intendid. All he did was use a focus macro. Nothing wrong there unless you can explain.
@@slymcfly123 he exploited the ability by not targeting the boss and creating macros to attack the boss. That was not intended and impossible to be misconstrued in any way. Thats an exploit. Explained.
@Schizim i have a macro that interrupts targets I am not currently not targeting. Is that an exploit?
@@slymcfly123 Did you make a fake weakaura UI so it looks like you are playing normally? Only someone who knows what they are doing is wrong would hide it
@@slymcfly123 why did imfiredup try to hide it then?
Not really mad at people for abusing something like that. If blizzard releases a patch with tuning like this, where other classes (ele) are doing literally double the damage of your class, I get how people who see that and don’t feel bad about abusing such a bug.
More blizzards fault then anything.
every single one should get a perma ban. obviously abusing and clearing hard content
If you are going to exploit with these rouges invalidate all of your runs even your +2's ban for the rest of the season then require them to pay for each month they were banned in order to reenable their accounts or rebuy the game and make a new one. There has to be something done.
It should be a 6 month ban and all titles stripped from all seasons as a first warning
Playing as an off-meta healer it's hard enough to reach that sweet cut-off... Now absurers just fuck up the range even more :')
is there a website or discord that keeps tabs on these bugs so i can know about them earlier?
They shouldn’t ban people for them releasing a pile of garbage and using live servers as a beta test.
The whole raid leaderboard is outlaw rogues right now 😂😂
sck for WW has a list of things that cause it to stop at any point in its channel - still hasnt been fixed since it was introduced when they changed the functionality for sck ONLY for WW which in itself was a horrible change....
I know they caught the bug but I had no idea that the exploiters got away with it, it's ridiculous.
Visage doing a not negligible amount of healing last night was odd
Exploit early, exploit often => permanent ban. It's that simple really. If you know what you are doing and you know it's wrong you should not whine when losing your account.
They need to fully ban and reset the stats for m+ that's a huge issue for those players that busted their ass. Im not even close to that but that's insanely unjust
Feels bad that some of my friends who I was competing with are now 3k rated when we were all 2800 ish. Now I have no chance. They can get into any run they want, I can’t get into shit as a ret. I legit want to quit the game.
@@Shannendetro definitely don’t let it do that you still enjoy the game to the extent you can but yea it’s seriously a mess, I hope they fix it so ur friends get put back to where they should be if not penalized for exploiting.
@@joeycannoli518 my problem is i play to push content, id really like to get title this season, was super close season 4 when i started to try. This skews it and without pushing content i wouldnt be playing this game. Tbf, id probably just play classic, i can play that and chill casually.
@@Shannendetro just play your own key i've been playing fcking mw and i'm in the 3k range
Same for me, joined LFR with my lvl 40 dk and ended up oneshotting the raid.
I heard about this, arent they fixing the scaling? Seems silly, but funny.
As soon as jak put this out they said they’re banning exploiters haha

I appreciate your passion, but you know EXACTLY why Blizzard hasn't fixed anything in their Store Mount Simulator disguised as a game. I'm a Turtle WoW Enjoyer now but I really do enjoy retail raiding. It's very fun imo and high action.
While not taking action is bad, it's NOT encouraging it.
There is no chance atm to know if something is a bug or intentended . Many builds have broken trees and skills. As a rnd player you will never know
What's so crazy about this patch specifically, is who was clamoring for this? If this patch came out in three weeks, I don't think anyone would have been crying about it. This patch was 100% an unforced error. They could have taken significantly longer to get PTR results and info than they did, but for some reason they really felt like they needed to rush out a patch when nobody was being vocal about a lack of content.
They needed to get the anniversary patch out bc it’s the anniversary?
@@1aml3g3nd13 They could have just pushed the anniversary content without the talent redesigns/tuning man. not that hard.
Take the ppl that exploit and give them a permanent cheater title and force a mog that looks stupid and is embarrassing.
Permaban these players and remove the exploited leaderboard runs, everything else is unacceptable
Meanwhile what Blizzard do - they add 90$ mount in their shop XD
This entire situation has made me sick to my stomach. I don't even get a flying flaming bag of poop about their 20th Ann. because of it.
Feels like an entirely different dev team is handling this recent patch lol
So exploits are ok as long as your a pleb and it doesn't effect high end raiders and key runners? Cmon man.
They should get fixed but not punished. If you use a spec exploit to kill an LFR boss or normal boss fast I don’t think that’s a big deal worthy of punishment.
Using it for your guilds first silken court mythic kill is another story
So cheating is okay when your cheating just not for the content you say...okay Jak. I think you made their point.
@@johnlinksthats what he said, so you dont disagree
4 weeks ago they... No they didnt, they didnt ban Firedup like they absolutely should have.
And then this morning when I got on, it was back to normal like all those people got banned because I didn’t see any 11s anymore or 12 or 13.
imagine getting 1 shot in pvp arena
No ones talking about the bugged scaling in tinewalking and the raid
Ive had multiple groups where dudes come in 1 shotting everything and i have no choice but to participate or get a 30 min ban for leaving lfg/lfr... i dont want to cheese gear i just want the game to function ffs
If the game wasn't broken, there wouldn't be a way to cheat.
I guess the next fury nerf is coming
Nothing happened to firedup, why would it happen to anyone else
Pvp needs rating decay back so exploiters can't just sit on their stolen rating.
You not mentioning the imfiredup bug incident really leaves a bad taste in my mouth I’m not ngl
I'm not being racist or anything, but I feel like this has been obvious and a fact, so I'll say it. The more Chinese players in the game, the more cheaters it gets for any games. They really don't even feel a slightest shame climbing the ladder one by one.
If you exploit / hack in other games and that affects other people you get banned and it should be exactly the same here
It's an absolute shitshow.. more interested in pushing out mounts instead of fixing the game
4day bann nothing , no matter if a wf raider did it (they should be more punished cuz they are doing all the time )
this does suck for high keys and title range people and 100% should have been tested and agree with every point in the video. BUT these mean absolutely fuck all for the casual player base that don't do mythic, that dont do high end m+ and even pvp to some extent. pvp is probably the only one where it actually matters for the casuals since it just makes it not fun what so ever (not like pvp is fun but people seem to like it)
To be honest what Blizzard has done with this entire Xpac is criminal. Its been dogshit since day 1, and it only seems to get worse every patch.
If only they made a game without ridiculous bugs?
PvP exploit/cheating is going strong with the patch too.. :/
This is just proof that exploit early, exploit often is the way to go. You might cop a few day ban once every 10-20 exploits.
This is what happens when you commit to a content cadence you can't meet.
Magegod has entered the chat
I wonder how often blizzard employees watch vides like this.......
The PvP trinkets should be bannable? Literally using items that you have to work for that blizzard makes? That’s probably the only point you mentioned here that I don’t agree with. Fix it so they don’t work but make it punishable? No
They bugged silken court with those items so the boss became a target dummy
Not gonna talk about fired up at all wasn’t an accidental exploit was intentional cheating video comes off super disingenuous when you just casually leave that out no way he doesn’t know or forgot he should’ve been banned just like these bug abusers
Technically he didn’t cause their team to progress a boss before the bug was fixed but ya I would temp suspended atleast
yeah firedup wasnt very egregious because tbf that was reported months before on the ptr. whats crazy was echo automating macros (meeres called for macros in vc to disguise it too) and got away with it lmfao
Blizz dont care about it. Also this is a sad result for what they have done to the game and class balances
why logs dont mean shit these days. if you got like a 75% or higher your doing good.
4 days is a joke
Rep seems worse than exploiting bosses.. seems odd..
What you talking, outlaw rogue is god tier spec thats why
I came back to lvl my 60's thru DF and it is boring. Can't justify paying for TWW.
Blizzard really needs to go scorched earth - follow something like FFXIV - it's strict sure - but honestly, it's the best time I've ever had learning and progressing even in a PUG setting... WoW and a good portion of its player base... is a massive embarrassment.
Bliz blue post said they fix the bug and are rolling back kills and m+ runs
Rwf is over blizzard doesn't care anymore.
Not to mention they BUFFED mage and dk when they were already top dps. Does blizzard even look at numbers ?!?!?
Mage was NOT top dps. Nowhere near it.
