Thanks for posting this video. I didn't know how to replace my retainer, and seal until I saw this. Now I know where to put the screws. I appreciate it.
My seal is a true quarter inch T style where can I find it ?

Ordered and received regular flat rails, not happy
That rail has been discontinued. This one has replaced it and can be used on tongue and groove and shiplap style doors. The manufacturer realized that the tongue that fit up in the groove serve no purpose (it didn't help with installation or aligning anyting because the rail is made for a 2in thick door and it didn't keep out water or bugs any different)you can still put screws through the bottom and the back side.
I do need to update the pics for sure. This new rail is more versatile so you can use it on all 2 inch thick doors.
