Great video. I would add that it be a good idea to lubricate the new roller pins before inserting them.
Nice content but the video could be so much better if your arm wasn't in front of what we need to see. Also this and other videos the banner obscures the view of what you are doing. Thanks a lot for the video but if you could address these two issues in coming videos that would be great!
Wasn’t as quick since you’re a pro, but this video was great. Took about 20 minutes to replace them all and save myself a trip from the repair guy. New rollers look great!
Best video I have seen so far on how to do this job.
Kyle, thank you so much for the very helpful videos! I watched the videos for replacing the garage door springs, cables and rollers and they made everythingso easy! Your parts delivery was quick and I couldn't be happier. Thank you for giving me the knowledge and confidence to a job I never would have tried before.
Kyle, thanks for the tutorial. Most videos I watch on UA-cam I have to speed up to about 1.25x or 1.5x because they talk too slow and don’t get to the point and talk about stuff I don’t care about like “where I can buy this at the local Home Depot and for how much”. You get right to the point and speak clearly and quickly. I just had to support family business and buy direct from you because I own my own business too and I know I can go local or online to buy stuff like this but supporting you is important to me since you just gave us all a free video on how to do it. Keep showing us videos and please tell everyone to “support family owned businesses if they learned anything from your tutorial.”

Thanks Al, we appreciate the support!
I would also like to address others comments. They may think you do it wrong by not taking off the brackets on each one. They are actually the wrong ones. They are creating extra work for themselves. They have to bend the track aNyWaY at some point, so it makes sense to just do it your way skipping the unnecessary steps that they take.
@@cabinlife1886 totally agree brother. I appreciate all the good compliments. Thanks for being a great customer!
why did you put the video where the camera was blocked back your arm
lube up the axles on the new wheel before you install them and also lube up the hole they go into ... be sure to clean the entire track too and spray lube the tension springs to quite them down
Just ordered these sealed rollers. Great price. I've had nylon rollers (not sealed) for more than 10 yrs now and they are still holding strong, so I can attest to the durability and quietness of these rollers (hell I've replaced about 3-4 springs and not a peep out of the rollers), however for the price of these sealed units, I can't help but replace the non sealed rollers - the price and performance just won't let me keep the old rollers.
DIYs rollers are about 75% cheaper ($2.40 vs $9.99) than at the place I have ordered parts in the past. I was able to get the entire set for what they wanted for 3 rollers. I now see that they are an over price parts supplier and have found a new supplier.
Thanks DIY
+Methodical2 Thanks, let me know what you think when you get them. We use these doing service work for 11 years and never had any wear out even on really heavy carriage house wood doors.
I did mine by taking the side rail off, one of a time while the door is down. No bending.
very educative. Thank you .Regards
Kyle...wow ...i am a service tech in s fl and the way u bent the track with vise grips to change the top roller and you jumped when it popped out of the track and then very cooly used the open space to install the roller ....with that light track gauge you could bend it by grabing it and twisting
Thanks...couldn't get the missing rollers up to the bend of the track because the same one on both sides were the ones popped out...but it still worked just fine with the door all the way down.
Estes Bazor Glad you got it! Thanks for the comments it may help someone else
I need a garage door opener for all star. Can you buy these and bond it to your garage door opener how do you replace it?
How to redo spring & side Tension wheels?
My old 18' wooden garage door is 800+ pounds so I'm not exactly able to do all this "just move the door with one hand while on a ladder" thing. Needless to say I'm not bending or removing track either.
Under such circumstances it seems smarter to use vicegrips to fix a short 2x4 in the track to keep the panels from hinging out and accordion-ing while the wheel is out. But again, each panel of my door probably weighs twice as much as the entire door in this vid.
Great job
excellent
real bad angle on the camera.
Would bending the top of the track be less problematic to the roller track?
Can't understand what the lubricant is you are using. How about spelling it out?
I found it, DENCO NSCD Garage Door Lube Gel
When the door is all the way up you can lift the top panel out of the curved piece and slip the roller right out
Thanks about to upgrade my rollers. I do have a question my garage door will not close in the morning I'm assuming the cold... maybe. How can I address this issue? It closes fine any other time during the day only have had the issue early in the morning
Great!
Can you insulate your garage door like the one you have Done
The rollers are great, but the squeeks weren't there. I sprayed and sprayed. Not there. It sounds like it might be the top bearings. They look difficult to replace. Ideas?
end bearing plates are not that bad to replace. Just give use a call if you need help with it.
So why would not lubricate the new roller prior to putting it inside the socket.
It is a lot more messy doing it that way. Much easier to just lube everything after they are changed
That spring is wound to tight
It's back up.
