      Doesn’t the Muriel middle section look like the back middle section of the tarot cards from Agatha all along could this be a possible connection to both sectors of the mcu magic and multiverse

      Also did you hear that Jonathan major’s film magazine dreams will be coming out in many theaters in the early part of 2025 be distributed by briarcliff
      And his other film Merciless is a supernatural revenge thriller film starring Jonathan Majors as a CIA interrogator seeking revenge it reminds me of when he was in LoveCraft country on hbo he’s very good at working in supernatural plots and story’s
      that is being directed and made by Martin Villeneuve, the younger brother of Dune filmmaker Denis Villeneuve
      It’s gonna start filming any day now and be released by the end of 2025 so 2 films in a year looks like his star is back on the rise
      Maybe a possible kang return I know Disney thinks making Robert Downey jr evil doom is gonna bring back the fans but I’ve seen and heard that so many people didn’t really like this decision at all so here’s hoping 🥰🥰

    1:58 - I’m sure somebody else has brought it up, but that mural IS Loki’s tree, just viewed sideways/horizontally instead of vertically. It’s not the loom because the loom didn’t branch at both ends, it existed to weave raw time into the singular “sacred timeline” thread.

    Paradox's comment about Wade not knowing about other universes would make sense if Wade's visit to Happy Hogan and all subsequent lines of dialogue referencing it were reshoots made after that scene was deleted.

    Mobius did ask B15 to keep the murals from HWR running the TVA so that they learn from the past and I wouldn't be surprised if Paradox kept those for his division since he's a bit more set on the old ways.

    Huh, that first deleted scene's placement sounds interesting. I'm wondering if they deleted it because they decided to add Deadpool travelling to 616 and it therefore became redundant. And yeah I think its made clear that 616 and 10005 are very much separate. I think it's interesting to not the nose injury in that second scene, makes me wonder if either it was a previous injury or it just wasn't meant to be an injury and a mistake on their part. Okay that third scene is hilarious! Great video as always (didn't even realize this video had come out from you until now). I glanced at the thumbnail this morning but missed that it was your video.

    I'd say in general, the relevance of deleted scenes depends entirely on WHY they were deleted. If it's because it conflicts with some change in the story during production, or the director or higher-ups at Marvel wanted to undo something that happened in it, then obviously we'd have to reject the information in it. But if it's like most deleted scenes that are deleted because they're not necessary for moving the story forward, or to cut down the running time, then those are still worth analyzing, even if we can't officially declare them canon, barring any official Marvel statements. So the deleted scene where Paradox explains the nature of the multiverse, while it totally supports your multiverse model, and I would lean heavily toward accepting it as further evidence to support it, we can't know for sure 100% if it was deleted because it wasn't needed, or because it was deemed too confusing to general audiences, or because it conflicted with future Marvel plans regarding the nature of the multiverse.
    And the "do nothing" scene, like you pointed out, just contained redundant and unnecessary information, so that's likely why it was deleted. I'd say it was originally written to show the nature of Paradox's job in the TVA, but ultimately it turned out to better to save that reveal for later, to let the audience sympathize with Deadpool's lack of knowledge of what's going on.
    One thing I'll say about Wade implying that he's seen certain movies, I'm not sure I believe the character in-universe has actually seen those movies. It's really tricky with 4th-wall-breakers, to understand what's actually happening to those characters within the story. It's like there's Wade the narrator and Wade the in-universe character. Every Deadpool movie is basically Wade the narrator telling the story to the audience, as he slips in and out of talking to the audience and showing what happened to Wade the in-universe character. And every time he makes a meta-reference to a real life actor or real life movie, that's just Wade the narrator making an inside joke to the audience, and not necessarily a reveal that Wade the in-universe character actually knows those things. I'm not even entirely convinced that Wade the in-universe character actually visited 616 and talked to Happy Hogan. But we'll just have to see if Marvel clears that up at some point.

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  2 години тому

      Fantastic commentary on deleted scenes. I agree, it's so hard to know if they are canon or not. But either way, I do think they give us some insight into the thought process of the writers / directors. So for that reason, I was very happy to see that first scene.
      And you also are right about the complexity of a 4th wall breaker. It seems Wade knows what the writers are thinking as he knows the movies do exist...and in the case of Logan he even passed by a theatre showing the movie. But it's hard to know if he literally watched those movies or not. Craziness!

    Fun video.
    I don't think Marvel Studios has a planned multiverse 'model'. The way characters (Paradox) talk is vague at best - I don't think he's necessarily implying Wade's 'universe' is unconnected to the Loki's tree, because the TVA's job at the end of season 2 was to monitor those branches.
    So I've always interpreted it as a universe = a timeline. There doesn't seem to be a distinction between how they use the terms.
    i.e. I think the 'sacred' timeline (616) is the 'original' universe/timeline from which all other alternative universes/timelines emerge from. Which only start occurring as a result of Loki season 1 and 2.
    Meaning I think Wade's 'universe'/'timeline' (which ever term you prefer) is a branch off the sacred timeline.

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  День тому +1

      Yeah, at this point Marvel has yet to show us what the multiverse looks like from afar, other than ofc Loki's tree. So I think it's a valid theory to assume every universe sprouted from that tree. But I think Marvel has given us lots of hints that the other universes (such as 10005) are not connected to the tree. They refer to them as "stacked" or "parallel" or not "anchored", etc. But hopefully the Fantastic Four movie will give us a definitive answer. Fingers crossed!

    Could it be that the Elevator Ride was seen as telling everyone information that they already knew, not just within the audience, but the movie, too? Even though it makes no sense how Cable's device brought Wade to the Sacred Timeline, maybe that scene was actually created as part of a restructuring of Wade's identity crisis, and so then you don't need the Elevator Ride anymore because it's just exposition that we had already seen, and it didn't make sense to tell the audience what they'd been shown.
    Do Nothing is definitely odd. It's possible that could have been shot during the writer's strike and before the actor's strike. Once everyone was back, I'm sure changes were made to the movie that made everything else work a lot better. That's why I mentioned the whole thing about Wade's identity crisis, maybe there was an entirely different reason for that instead of being rejected by the Happy Hogan, and then breaking up with Vanessa. Maybe it was still a breakup with Vanessa, but he gave up on being Deadpool to try and be around more for her in the hopes of starting a family, but then he was no longer happy, making everything else not work. That has nothing to do with the scene between Paradox and B-15, but this movie was made during a very weird period of time in Hollywood, so any number of reasons could result in these deleted scenes.
    And the same could be said for Daddy's in Love, although that seems like it might have been much later. It's probably just to help wrap the movie up quicker. It's not that it isn't fun having more of Peter and B-15, but adding the scene probably broke the flow as well as taking away the main focus of the movie. I don't recall there being a mid-credit scene though, it could have worked there, but again, it's not really relevant, and it's not as funny as the true post credit scene with Johnny Storm saying everything Deadpool said he did.

    Hey, would you be interested in doing a video on whether you think the MCU is in the same multiverse as the comics universe? There is a connection to the Loki series in the latest Deadpool Samurai and it looks as though we are now getting TVA and Kahori comics that connect to the comics universe. Also, Across the Spider-Verse shows images from the comics universe, and we know that this film is connected to the MCU.
    Love the videos btw!

      Interesting...I kinda hope the MCU and the comics aren't connected, as there would be alot of contradictions to have to resolve. But I do think isolated comics are connected. X-Men 97 had tie-in comics and some of the early MCU comics are considered canon. I'm really interested in the new TVA and Kahori comics to see what we learn from them. By the way, I still don't understand why they didn't take this good chance to weave more characters from the LOKI series into this, while explaining what happened to Earth 838 after Wanda's attack. There were plenty of opportunities here, given that this was a movie about the multiverse, with Deadpool in the background. So many wasted opportunities to explain multiple plots, in addition to zero, but that's ZERO mention of Loki?

    I'm kind of feeling like the only reason they cut the elevator ride was because Paradox is explaining something to Wade that he already knows: the existence of the multiverse. And we already established that he knows it. And in the movie itself,Paradox knows that that Deadpool is being abusive of his timeline. Sometimes you have to have dialogue like this to bring the audience up to speed but they realized that with the flow of the story they now have, the audience already have that information. If I had to guess, I would say that maybe the editing and rewriting changed the order in which this information would have been presented. For instance, maybe originally the story started with him in the TVA and then showed the North Dakota thing. But then they realized it was a stronger opening to go to Logan's grave first. Which actually fit the motif of the other two Deadpool movies which also start in media res. There's really no way to know. I LOVE the opening. The title sequence alone is worth the price of admission and the exposition coming later,I'm fine with that. So if that is how it went down, I totally understand!

And 616 Loki was the only one whose story was chronicled in Loki the show? And that Deadpool’s superpower is that he can see and watch different timelines of the same multiverse but not in different multiverses? I’m confused because of the implications not related to this video. Like are there multiple Earth 616s or every multiverse has an earth and it’s designated as different numbers (i.e. Fox-verse’s earth is 10005 and MCU’s earth is 616)? Btw I love your graphs of the multiversal designs. They’re quite helpful…but I’m still confused lol

      But in answer to your questions. There is only one 616 and that's the universe where Loki sat on the thrown and created his tree. The other universes are probably not shaped like trees, as only 616 has been formed like that. The other universes are likely just a messy looking briar patch with lines going everywhere.
      As for how Deadpool jumped from 10005 to 616 for that interview with Happy, I can only explain it as "Deadpool does as Deadpool wants". I mean, in Deadpool 2, he killed the crappy Deadpool from X-Men Origins: Wolverine and also killed Ryan Reynolds before he became Green Lantern. And he watched the Logan movie in the Deadpool short called "No good Deed" to learn about Logan's death. He's basically like She-Hulk, in that they can do some crazy stuff. She jumped out of the Disney+ interface to complain to K.E.V.I.N. about the plot. So 4th wall breakers can do some insane shenanigans.
      Let me know if that helps. Happy to answer any questions that I can. And thanks for watching the vid and sharing your feedback. Really appreciate it!

In fact I think they should have done their more traditional two (one mid credits and one post credits). And I think in rewatches that is what I'm going to do. I will get to the end of the movies, play Daddy's in Love as the mid credits and the watch the actual post credits. I think this might even have been how it was designed to play out but they also wanted to do the during credits montage and they didn't want to overstuff the closing. Again I have no way of knowing that. 2. I don't think Renslayer duplicated herself, as she was able to use the time door to travel into the sacred timeline and "activate" Victor, which then created a branch in the timeline.
      3. I think Victor is working with the TVA and in fact, the new version of the TVA handbook listed both Victor and OB as the authors.

He Who Remains spent the entire time up until Loki took over and sacrificed himself to become the God of Stories preventing other universes existing so that no variant of himself has the opportunity to restart the multiversal war. If we assume Earth-10005, 96283 (Raimiverse), 120703 (TASM) etc. are separate from He Who Remains' loom then why didn't Raimi Kang, TASM Kang, FoX-Men Kang or Paint Kang try to kill He Who Remains. This was necessary, as they needed to keep track of any Kangs appearing across all universes. Paradox was assigned the task of monitoring 10005, which he considered to be a waste of time, which was why he wanted to kill it off with the time ripper and instead get assigned to a more prestigious universe like 616.
