A couple ideas I've had: 1. We all suspect that Rio might be Death. When she says "I was in the neighborhood" she's referring to the fact that she had already come to the Witches Road in that capacity to collect Sharon's soul- this assumes that she and Sharon are not one-and-the-same. 2. Sharon really was a green witch practicing analog magic. She just never knew it. When Agatha says "I didn't think you had it in you." She's referring to Sharon being able to fulfill the role of Green Witch in opening the door to the road. 3. The trials are a diversion. The ballad specifically says "through many miles of TRICKS and trials." The time challenges with the fancy doors look flashy- what if they are the tricks. Episode 4 appears to be the fire trial but crucially at the end of it Jennifer, the potions Witch, saves Teen's life using her skillset. She even does so with water and moonlight. What if that was the real water trial. Need to see how further episodes unfold, but I am very much cooking on the idea that the big fancy trials are all smoke and mirrors and the real tests are much more subtle.
Excellent theories! That’s a really cool idea that the trials are just a diversion. I do indeed think there are many more twists and turns as a series continues on. It’s been fantastic so far!
5:16 I would say that is also tied to the song "Down, down, down the road. Down the witches road" which on the one hand means walking on the road but also literally means going DOWN to the next level.

I honestly find it quite hard to watch which is odd. these episodes are shorter than usual Disney plus shows but they feel very long and kinda boring I'm just really waiting for anything to happen idk it just feels like Scooby Doo every episode

With all of the Wizard of Oz theming, I wonder if we’re seeing their gifts getting played out. Jennifer gets “the nerve”, Alice gets to “go home”, Agatha gets “a heart”, perhaps Lilia gets “a brain” (like clarity to her visions), and teen gets … a soul?
I think the thing with Jen is also referring to how women were driven out of the field of childbirth. For most of our history, women were primary caregivers for other women in labor. Midwives were the default and many cultures did not allow men into the room when a woman was in labor. But over time, male doctors pushed women out of the field entirely, knocking midwifery as primitive and unsafe as they pushed their unsafe notions about childbirth forward, taking agency away from laboring moms. The abuse of the black women during this push was also absolutely appalling, but the field of obstetrics is only recently and slowly realizing that midwifery has a very valid place in women’s health and childbirth and that some 19th and 20th century practices are less ideal than what midwives have known all along. As a new mom who gave birth with midwife assistance in a birthing center, marvel referencing this history really spoke to me
Fantastic point! Yes, the pushing out of women from the field could explain calling Jen and "inconvenient woman", which was so appalling. And congrats on being a new mom and doing it with a midwife. I'm sure that was a wonderful experience you will never forget!
I have been loving agatha all along, and all the accompanying fan theories. It is much better than i expected, and i still had decently high hopes. Now hoping the next 5 episodes will be just as incredible!
So I have a different theory with regards to Sharon that popped into my head. Assuming Rio is death, she was in the neighbourhood, possibly to collect Sharon, when the spell was cast to summon a Green Witch. Rio says that the spell pulled her out, which is certainly a plausible explanation, but going off the thing I mentioned the other day of Agatha describing Rio as a tourist to the Witches' Road and thus implying she's not a real witch... If Rio is death, and not a true witch, then maybe the spell didn't call her at all. It was a funny contrast of course, with Lilia saying the spell needs time to work, and then immediately cutting to Rio crawling out of the ground, but what if the spell didn't summon Rio at all and she just crawled up of her own accord? Because that would mean that Sharon is still out there, buried in the pure magic soil of the Witches' Road, 'marinating' in a spell to summon a Green Witch. Theory #2 is in regards to Teen: What if it is Wanda that set the Sigil and sent Teen out to guide Agatha down the Witches' Road? Wanda herself may be indisposed or some such, but also Agatha would not trust her. She also wouldn't trust Teen if she knew the boy was Wanda's. So perhaps Wanda set up the Sigil to hide Teen's identity, planted a fascination with Agatha and the Witches' Road, armed him with the spell he would need to break the hex' hold on Agatha, and sent him to Westview. After all: "I'll know where to find you."
I love all these ideas about Rio and Mrs. Hart. I can't wait to find out what game Rio is actually playing. She is such a fascinating character. And I am definitely open to Wanda casting the sigil as I hadn't considered her casting as a way of guiding Agatha down the road. That's a cool theory!

What if at the end of the road. Agatha gets her son back but not in a regular way. Like in the comics, Agatha’s son IS the literal dark hold. Calling himself “Her greatest creation.” SO, what if at the end of the road, Agatha finds her “son” which is literally just the personified version of the dark hold. She gets her powers and her son. Is that one of the many reasons why the dark hold was in the baby crib during Agatha’s hallucination? Who knows.. Im so excited for the ending and I really hope the show ends off on a good note and doesn’t end off dry. 💜
Now that's a creative theory. Would be cool to see things head in that direction with Agatha, Nicholas and the Darkhold. And yeah, I agree, I really hope they manage to stick the landing. The show has been great so far!
I had said notice in the first episode or so when Rio is the detective at Agatha's house notice Rio doesn't seem surprised or worried or run to see who's breaking into the house unless she knew someone was supposed to break into the house. I've had an idea since they dropped the first trailer. Wouldn't it be cool if Mrs heart is a witch from long ago who maybe got put under a spell to forget. When I want to live a normal life and marry a mortal man. And this is why she was the only one strong enough to speak to say / plead for Wanda to save her husband back in Wanda Vision. And all the shenanigans of Agatha bring back her memory.
The “get off me” line came from Sharon when she was trying to find a way out. Also in the third ep when she said “I love you guys” was the end of the sentence from ep 4 by the camp fire.
I wondered about that Mrs. Hart said as well… But what she actually ended up saying was “Don't touch me”. So that seemed different enough that I don’t know if it was actually fulfilling the divination. But I could be wrong on that.
I think that there is a chance that the Witches who 'die' on the road actually aren't dead. In the promos, I remember seeing an image of Jennifer coming up out of the ground like an attractive zombie- maybe that was her coming back at the end of the road? And all the others who 'die' will as well?
That would be cool if the witches don't die but instead "claw their way out" of the road, similar to Agatha clawing her way out of the spell. And yeah, Agatha's mother could indeed be that open pentacle in the title card. Nice call!
I love the theory at 0:48, it's like half a second on the screen (I had to watch it again and again in slow motion) but definitely seems that way, and makes so much sense after Rio asking Agatha about the boy.
I can't stop thinking about the triple goddess on the locket, and Agatha's response to it. Pawn shop guy: "Mother, Maiden, and Crone" Agatha: "What? No working professional?". It feels like so much of Agatha's story revolves around the denial of these archetypes. Her motherhood was exchanged for the Darkhold, that one's easy. I see her maidenhood being wrapped up with Rio Vidal: they clearly have some sort of history that both of them want so bad to rekindle, but they can't. There's something keeping her from being able to just be a lover with Rio Vidal. Another option for Maiden is her Salem days, but I don't feel like there's enough there to talk about. Finally there's the crone. The crone archetype and the witch archetype are very intertwined so her mere lack of power is a deniel of her Crone identity, but I think there's more. Crones' big thing is sight: they're very keen to the situation, and this level of foresight and wisdom is what makes them powerful. This stands in extreme contrast to Agatha's 3 years in Westview as Agnes. She was completely seperated from the truth, blinded and living in a dreamscape seperate from reality.
That first theory about Rio is ... interesting. I was gonna dismiss that second theory but then you brought up that (IMO) infamous hand lick. I do wholeheartedly agree with the Rio being Hart thing, been calling that for a while. I can see the argument against it but remember Rio was fully aware of Agatha's agency being taken away which who knows what else Rio did that we don't know about yet. Also the whole them going down could be related to the song that literally says "down the witches' road" which could be taken in either context. The Tarot stuff is so fascinating to me. The idea that Teen casted the Sigil is really interesting yeah. That last one I think is a resounding YES.

During WandaVision, people were theorizing that Agnes killed Sparky just to see how Wanda would respond (which made the late line of her song even funnier). So it doesn’t seem unreasonable to think that Rio injured Teen on purpose (they’re written by the same woman after all).
I try not to theorize too much in the middle of a show, but shows like this do really seem to encourage it. I have come up with one, that being if Agatha did actually go down the Witch's Road, she met Mephisto and made a deal with him there (probably for the Darkhold, which is how she learned her absorption power), but he waited to collect until Nicholas was born years (decades? centuries?) later.
I like that theory! Yeah, that makes it all the more tragic to consider that Agatha thought maybe Mephisto wasn’t gonna collect and then finally he came and took her baby!
8:48 I believe that the part about going down levels during each trial is significant and that the way to leave the lowest part of this place is via the Tower back to the surface world.
2:35 - Referring to campfire scene where she said she didn’t have a choice - maybe, if she is the one who causes the injury, even fatal, she can heal it? If it’s not caused by her, she DOESN’T have the choice but to ferry them over.
Agatha and Wanda would be such a great duo. I hope Agatha can heal her hatred for the Scarlet Witch in the future and vise versa. ❤💜 Maybe Agatha saving Teen (probably Billy) could come in a future project with the two. Something like “Hey Wanda, don’t hate me anymore. I saved your son during the road..” etc.
A minor observation: Lilia may be accidentally responsible for summoning Rio. When the coven summons a replacement, Lilia adds “let her be the BEST at her craft.” If Rio is THE Green Witch as she claims, she is the only witch that would qualify. 🧙
Soon as they reached the witches road Mrs Hart yelled “ what kind of party is this”? I think when they saved Mrs hart from getting pulled into the ground what if she actually did get taken and the Mrs Hart we saw was actually Rio? I believe Mrs Hart is alive. And don’t fall for all these theories a lot of these come from new rockstars like Billy putting the Sigil on himself!
Yeah, there is alot going on with Mrs. Hart that we don't know yet. I can't wait to learn more. And that's a good point about people grabbing theories from other channels and leaving them in the comments. But I do still enjoy hearing all these various ideas. While I don't think Teen is Nicholas Scratch, I do think it's possible that when Rio says "the boy isn't yours" she could mean, you already gave him up, so he no longer belongs to you. Most likely he's billy since that's what everyone is saying tho.
I'm 100% on board with the Billy Maximoff/Billy Kaplan/Sigil theory. I think this is Marvel's way of adapting a very convoluted origin story from the comics. I really like the callback to Wanda's lullaby in WandaVision episode 3 as a source of the protection sigil if it isn't Billy Maximoff's clumsy attempt to hide himself from Agatha & other witches. I also agree about Rio being the one who threw 'Teen' through the window. But I have a different thought to why. My theory is if Rio is 'Death' she is trying to collect Billy Kaplan's body. When the car crash happens, Billy Kaplan dies but if Billy Maximoff's soul now inhabits the body, she can't. I don't think she was attempting to see how attached Agatha is to 'Teen' when she flung him through the glass window, but she was actively trying to kill him. I think when Rio sees how the attack affected Agatha that is when she finds out how attached Agatha is to him. Rio deduces quickly why and reveals to Agatha that the boy isn't Nicholas. Rio knows exactly who 'Teen' is. She also probably isn't affected by the sigil due to that knowledge. My belief is we will learn who 'Teen' is by episode 6 due to a spoiler leaked by Ali Ahn in TVline. She mentioned a bar mitzvah scene in that episode. I think we know about the accident but not necessarily Billy Kaplan dying or Death's connection to why she is after 'Teen' until later in the show'. The only obstacle to my theory is in episode 1. If Rio has been hunting Billy Kaplan for his body, she was standing directly in front of the closet where he was bound by Agatha. But I'm taking that as more of an oversight of the creators in crafting that sequence. There could be a series of scenes later in the show revealing how Death has been following these characters. Lilia's hallucination in episode 2 stopped short of revealing Death's true identity as it creeped behind her mentor. What if that hallucination played a few seconds longer and the skull transforms into Rio's face. What if we see the aftermath of the Kaplan car crash and Death is standing over Billy Kaplan's lifeless body only to be agitated, he takes in a breath, as Billy Maximoff enters into his body. Maybe she has a connection to Alice's demon and the family curse. Death could have been hunting these witches by design. It'll be interesting once we see how the writers handle the first witch to fall. I do think every witch is going to fall in the show due to the promotion showing only Agatha and 'Teen' reach the final destination of the castle. The order of the fallen witches will most likely be as they walked down the witches' road. First, Sharon, then Alice, Lilia and lastly Jennifer. But I can't see Jac Schaeffer wanting that to be the end of their stories. It doesn't make sense for Lorna wanting Alice to travel down the road to save her, but she dies soon after ridding herself of the family curse. Even Lorna Wu's lyrics to the Ballad says, "I'll see you at the end". Implying Lorna meets her daughter at the end of her journey, unless we do get a mother/daughter reunion before Alice dies which would be heartbreaking to say the least. The promos show Jennifer rising from the ground so I'm hopeful any fallen witch is saved. That could come from a choice Agatha makes in the finale or Billy coming into his own power by manipulating the mystical forces of the witches' road. If Billy is shown to be the spiritual son of Wanda, he has the ability to interfere with probability and change outcomes. All the witches could potentially return. Remember Agatha seemed to have a moment of bonding with the witches at the campfire in episode 4. After dealing with her loss maybe she gains a found sisterhood she was lacking and thus unintentionally creates her own coven. I'm still going with my theory on 'Teen' getting possessed in episode 5. I'll see if that pans out tomorrow. Joe Locke has said 'Teen' is not the same 'Teen' from the first four episodes as he is later in the show. I can't figure out how 'Teen' can drastically make that change unless something big happens in episode 5. Perhaps the way Alice potentially goes down by Agatha absorbing her magic could be a good enough reason. He has never seen Agatha absorb other witches' powers. Agatha didn't want him to see her do it in episode 2 when she sent him upstairs and attempted to prompt the witches to blast her. But since this episode 5 introduces possession and the Nicholas Scratch thread has yet to be addressed fully, I'm going with 'Teen' getting possessed. If it doesn't happen, c'est la vie. On to the next theory. :)
I know this is long but to add a bit of something I omitted from my post regarding Rio's (Death) design for this particular group of witches, besides Billy Kaplan. Lilia escaped the plague which had killed millions in Europe, Death could had been chasing after her for some time. According to Agatha, Alice should have been dead long ago due to her family curse if not for the protection spell. Now that the protection spell has lifted when the demon is excised, she is no longer immune to Death coming to claim her. I haven't figured out Death's design for Jennifer Kale yet, perhaps there is a connection in a future episode. Death could be hunting all these witches for various reasons and is the true villain of the show. Maybe it's by design, Alice's attempts to 'protecting Agatha' is spurred on by Death taking its opportunity. The finale could be by defeating Death or finding a loophole brings everyone back...including Sharon Davis. Agatha said she didn't think Sharon had it in her at the beginning of episode 4. There was no explanation for that statement. Debra Jo Rupp said she liked her character arc in Agatha All Along. Maybe there is more to Sharon that meets the eye.

I truly can’t wait to see how everything pans out with Teen because there’s so much mystery surrounding him. I would be perfectly fine if they went with your theories, as they make a lot of sense and fit very well with what we’ve seen so far!
I wonder if TEEN doesn’t get recruited by Cassie, Kate, or Kamala by the end of this series, might he be under the protectionor tutelage of Agatha? In the comics, one of the things Agatha is highly regarded for is being watching over kids - sometimes Billy and Tommy a little, but usually Franklin Richards. That or, maybe she will help future witches the way she sometimes guides Wanda in the comics.
Unfortunately im pretty sure someone else is going to die before the season ends, there is a clip of either Rio or Agatha saying “the bodies are really starting to pile up” or something along those lines. We haven’t seen this scene yet but it implies more people will die 😢❤.

Here’s a dumb theory: Lilia, Jen and Alice (and maybe teen) seem to be getting on really well so after Agatha probably betrays them, they could form the just-witch league (yes this was a terrible justice league pun, I’m sorry)
i don’t know if this means anything, but when each one of the coven were poisoned we saw their actual visions except for mrs hart, maybe they just didn’t want to include elizabeth olsen for such a short scene but it could be rio just lying, she seems to be very well informed about what’s happened in westview, she knew wanda left with the darkhold and trapped agatha in a spell

How does Rio even know who teen is, if that sigil is supposed to prevent any witch from knowing who he is? Clearly Rio isn’t a regular witch and is immune from the sigil somehow.
I would assume her knowledge as Death would surpass the limits of the Sigil but I think this observation DOES confirm Rio isn’t the one who cast the Sigil.
If Wanda did unknowingly cast a protection spell on them then that means the boys were protected from the hex being undone. My only question is where’s Tommy?
As far as Lilia's divinations, there is another we got in episode 4. Randomly in episode 3, she bursts out and says "I love you guys." In episode 4 near the end she makes the comment along the lines of "You know, we couldn't stand each other at first but now..." And she trails off, the rest of the sentence having been meant to say 'but now I love you guys.'
I always thought that Agathas "mother" was not her biological mother, but that she referred to her as the highest in the hierarchy of their coven with that word. Maybe that doesn't change anything about the theory 😅 but also did agatha trade her son for the darkhold before she was attacked by her former coven? I believed the attack was the result of her making obtaining the darkhold 🤔 I am propably missing something either from the story or this video, but hopefully we get a clearer timeline of what happened in salem back then
Interesting idea that it wasn't Agatha's actual mother. ig I don't know for sure on that. I assumed it was her mom, but maybe not? As for getting the Darkhold, I've always wondered if Agatha was drawn to it, but didn't possess it in that 1693 scene or if she already had it. The lines were: You stole knowledge above your age and station. You practice the darkest of magic. I know… I know nothing of these crimes. I… I swear it. Enough deception! I did not break your rules. They simply bent to my power. Hard to tell what they are saying in those lines. I agree, I hope we learn more about how Agatha got the Darkhold and if that ties to what her mother did to her...and heck, if that even was her mother in the first place.
Also on the note of the exits always being a downward descent the ballad does say, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN the road about a million times maybe we took that at face value when it was meant to be a more literal hint! I'm also interested in how they leave the road? is it a normal door back do they all just suddenly find themselves back in her basement. Does the road deteriorate around them and leave them back in reality. I hadn't noticed all the exits were downwards but now I'm very intrigued
I think that if Rio really is Death herself, she may have some kind of omniscience that would allow her to know everything that happened in WandaVision, or see Mrs. Heart's memories of killing her and impersonating her. On the other hand, if it really is "Lady Death" it makes sense that the poison wouldn't work on her, because you can't kill death.
My two theories: First, tomorrow, Alice is going to sacrifice herself to save possessed Agatha, and Lilia's premonitions were about finding another way. Second, I wonder if Jennifer, Lilia, and Alice are all going to die on the road, Agatha demands Nicholas back as her reward, and she gets her coven back too for some reason.
I think Alice will try to blast Agatha not to kill her but protect her, like shield her of sort, but Agatha's ability will suck all energy out of Alice and kill her. The real tragedy however will be Lilia trying to warn her "Alice don't" but won't be able to because she already foretold that warning. The thing with Lilia is, I don't think she has visions, I think her mind slips through time. So when she will try to warn Alice, her mind will be in the past and won't be able to say anything. What a cursed power to have 😢
Rio being Mrs. Hart is the theory I hope not true. But for some actual counterpoints: - They behave too differently, so unless Rio "forgets" who she is when shapeshifting, that doesn't fit really well... for me at least. - Rio is presumably Death, so her job is to collect bodies (or souls?) and she was in the neighbor to collect Sharon's, so they are different characters. - Agatha mentioned that they only needed all the witches to open the door, then the less they are, the more power they get. Now she told Rio that she expected her later, like she was planning to kill the other witches, but Sharon's not being a real witch or their mistake made Death come earlier.
Has anyone else noticed how much this represents Inferno? Also, Wanda never created her children's souls. They were always made out of pieces of Mephisto's soul...
You’re right, it does seem to represent inferno. And yeah, in the comics, the souls were part of Mephisto. I’m wondering if they’re gonna change that and if it turns out that the scarlet witch did actually end up creating them herself in the MCU. We will find out as the season continues to roll on!
The first 2 theories do go together as if the theory that Rio became Death then she is unable to kill so she has to ensure that if she causes dmg she has to fix it. Don't forget that a true coven was there. The Salem seven are a true coven.
Good point about Rio...yeah, in that regard the first two theories do tie together nicely. And I am very anxious to see the Salem Seven return. They are going to be a real problem for Agatha and her companions. That would be wild if they were the only reason the door opened!
One reason I no longer believe the one about Rio pretending to be Mrs. Davis is the reaction to the ground taking her purse. Very uncharacteristic of Rio.
Agreed! That was very un-Rio like. My only thought is maybe she was playing the long game and pretending to be helpless. But yeah, that scene definitely goes against the Rio theory.
i still really want to believe nicholas scratch is blackheart, i feel like alot of the dialogue about agatha and what she did to her son all lead to him showing back up in a form she wouldnt recognize ie, blackheart.

I do think Alice and Lilia are on the chopping block but I would be sad if Alice died on the Road. Her mother said the Road would "save" her. And, yes, she got rid of the curse but you could argue she'd have been better not going on the Road and just living with the curse since she had the protection spell.
Yeah, I do kind of wonder if even the witches that fall along the road are brought back in the end somehow. The trailers did show Jennifer crawling out of the ground so maybe there’s a way to come back to the world of the living. I would hate to see Alice‘s journey end on the road
From what I've read about the leaks, in episode 2 we saw that the Salem 7 entered the house, there are easily 7 of them, and none of them attacked Teen, only one "tried" to grab him but not harm him, the Salem 7 want Teen to worship him like the Scarlet Witch, they know he's the reincarnation of the Demiurge, Teen's boyfriend is working with Rio, I would believe that Rio or the boyfriend put the sigil on Teen The pentacle refers to Billy and how all this involves him, Billy in the comics has been seen as forming a pentacle on his feet when he conjures a spell
I like the theory Rio shot Teen through the air. Because the demon was about FIRE & was burning everyone up (or @ least 2 of them). I was wondering, why switch up method on Teen?! I think the opposite. I don’t think Rio helped heal Teen. In fact, she doesn’t seem to be doing much of anything! I thought Rio “THE Green Witch” WAS supposed to be the healer! But looking at the 2nd episode again, they never said what a green witch was supposed to do. Just that it’s very important to have her for success down the witches’ road. Agatha said that the SLIGHTEST bit of magical powers is enough to form a coven (& open an entrance to the witches’ road). Later, Agatha said that she didn’t think Mrs. Samantha Davis/Mrs. Hart had it in her. Teen said that ANYONE could be a witch with the proper training. My theory is Samantha DID have enough magic in her to help open the door to the road. And if she didn’t in the past, being enchanted by Mrs. Wanda Maximoff Vision/The Scarlet Witch GAVE her (& everyone else in town) residual magic! My other theory is that the black heart on the coven list COULD mean Mrs. “Hart”/Samantha AND/OR it could also stand for TEEN. Because Teen has a sigil on him, masking his I.D., the witches can’t SEE his name written, either. I noticed the underlying theme of “Wanda Vision” & “It Was Agatha All Along” is women’s trauma over the death of a loved one. Maybe the doctor was a fictionalized version of J. Marion Sims. So based on Agatha’s mother issue theory, that may be AGATHA’S hair in the broach-locket. (Which would make sense, because I always thought the lock of hair was TOO LONG for a baby!)

It's not really a huge theory but I kind of feel that Agatha lost Nicholas BEFORE she got the Darkhold. The fact that her hallucination in the water trial seemed to mimic the ending of Rosemary's Baby makes me wonder if she didn't really get much of a choice in giving him up, much like Rosemary not really having much of a choice regarding her baby. Perhaps her mother's coven gave him up to someone (Mephisto or Rio? I'm leaning less towards Rio) and it wasn't up to her? And she could have got the Darkhold in the hopes of getting him back. I don't know. I'm not good with making theories. I'm just having fun and enjoying watching the show. Great video by the way!

I’ve been thinking why is the show called Agatha All Along. I know it was influenced by the popular song during WandaVision. However, I wonder if there is more to the story that maybe relates to the title more? Like it easily could have been called any of the fake titles and still worked. So, I wonder if they are just making a connection to the song or if maybe like how the lyrics of the ballad are interwoven with the plot maybe so is the Agatha all along song? Simply Agatha could have been pulling the strings all along?

I don't think Ms Hart was Rio. Rio was in the 'neighbourhood' because Ms Hart died, thus she came to collect the body as Lady Death. She even said 'Magic takes the path of least resistance', it didn;t need to summon a witch because Rio had already been 'summoned' by the death of Ms. Hart.
Yeah, I'm definitely 50/50 on whether I think Rio has been pretending to be Mrs. Hart. And you raise some valid reasons to assume it wasn't Rio. Great feedback!
Is Alice's story finished: a trailer showed Jennifer crawling out of the ground (I'm guessing it's in "the real world" because she's in her og pink dress), so I wonder if Alice will be spit out (not killed) by the road where she'll meet her mother, Elvis, and Jimmy Hoffa. Other thoughts: has Agatha's motive behind influencing Wanda to have kids in Wandavision been explained? Agatha and Teen claim that they want power at the end of the road (cue Boyz II Men), but all during Wandavision, Agatha had been testing her to see if she could create life or bring back someone back to life. So, it seems Agatha's "lust for power" may be just a means for her to resurrect someone and/or see if Wanda could also create life from a metaphysical metaphor within the Hex. Could Agatha have done something to Wanda while she was "pregnant?" Although she threatened the boys in the finale of Wandavision, Agatha may have formed a bond with them, as she was their babysitter in the compressed timeline. One thing is clear, nobody cares about Tommy, nobody. 🤣
My tin foil hate theory: Teen is looking for his mother, and he thinks his mom is Agatha, put the sigil on himself to 'force' Agatha to accept him for who he is. I also think teen came to the road to find his mother, expecting to connect with Agatha, but the road will bring Wanda back instead.

I am a bit slow sorry but if Wanda could create her kids souls after the hex was dropped why not just create the physical bodies I actually never understood the extent and working of her powers in Wandavision . Confusing to say at the least.
Great questions! So I think that Wanda was completely unaware that she could create things because Agatha is the one that told her about that in the final episode. And I also wonder if it was the combination of her initial hex, but also that Sokovian and lullaby. So the bottom line is, I don’t think she realized she knew she created something. But also I think her mission was to find her original kids. So even if she was able to re-create her kids, she didn’t wanna do that. She wanted to find her kids. And the darkhold tricked her by making her think they were across the Multiverse
Certainly some interesting theories. I just try not to speculate too much because that can result in disappointment. I want things to remain good in the show and have some surprises, but if some theories fail, I hope that people don't then lose faith in the show for its own merits and doing its own thing.
Good point...over theorizing can indeed lead to disappointment. But on the flip side, I do like these type of theories, as many of them won't come true but they may be slowly helping us unpack what we are seeing and then may lead to what actually happens in the end. I think Marvel is smart to do the week by week release schedule as it allows for this type of fun fan engagement.

If I do ever theorize about things, it's after the fact and gets goofy. Like trying to make sense out of the Secret Invasion writers saying Rhodey's been a Skrull since Civil War. Well what if Rhodey's been a Skrull since between Iron Man 1 and 2, which is why he looks like Don Cheadle instead of Terrence Howard, and the Skrulls used their mind thingies to make everyone not realize Rhodey changed his look. And then in Civil War, when that Skrull gets hurt, another one takes his place, and this one Skrull has been in the bunker the whole time and was so good at their job, even the Skurlls didn't know it was a Skrull. Rhodey's been a Skrull the whole time. This is real big brain activity right here; I'm on an entirely different level!
I watched the first episode and it didn’t really appeal to me, is it worth it to watch the rest of the show? So far this is the only mcu project I’ve skipped. I even watched both seasons of I am groot.
While I really liked the first episode, I have heard from people who didn’t like it as well, but really liked things after that first episode. So I would say give it a few more episodes and see if it grows on you. I personally think the mysteries in the show are really awesome and I’m betting that by the end of the season it’s going to be right about as popular as WandaVision was.
I think Rio killed Agatha‘s mother and the whole covenant to save Agatha. That’s why her heart is black and that’s why Agatha cannot take her powers becausethey’re tainted.

The story is kind of parallel with Wandavision. Agatha lost her child, most likely walked the road to get him back, but Death said no. Insert the Darkhold and I can see why Agatha lost it. A couple ideas I've had:
1. We all suspect that Rio might be Death. When she says "I was in the neighborhood" she's referring to the fact that she had already come to the Witches Road in that capacity to collect Sharon's soul- this assumes that she and Sharon are not one-and-the-same.
2. Sharon really was a green witch practicing analog magic. She just never knew it. When Agatha says "I didn't think you had it in you." She's referring to Sharon being able to fulfill the role of Green Witch in opening the door to the road.
3. The trials are a diversion. The ballad specifically says "through many miles of TRICKS and trials." The time challenges with the fancy doors look flashy- what if they are the tricks. Episode 4 appears to be the fire trial but crucially at the end of it Jennifer, the potions Witch, saves Teen's life using her skillset. She even does so with water and moonlight. What if that was the real water trial. Need to see how further episodes unfold, but I am very much cooking on the idea that the big fancy trials are all smoke and mirrors and the real tests are much more subtle.

I think the thing with Jen is also referring to how women were driven out of the field of childbirth. For most of our history, women were primary caregivers for other women in labor. Midwives were the default and many cultures did not allow men into the room when a woman was in labor. But over time, male doctors pushed women out of the field entirely, knocking midwifery as primitive and unsafe as they pushed their unsafe notions about childbirth forward, taking agency away from laboring moms. The abuse of the black women during this push was also absolutely appalling, but the field of obstetrics is only recently and slowly realizing that midwifery has a very valid place in women’s health and childbirth and that some 19th and 20th century practices are less ideal than what midwives have known all along. As a new mom who gave birth with midwife assistance in a birthing center, marvel referencing this history really spoke to me
Fantastic point! Yes, the pushing out of women from the field could explain calling Jen and "inconvenient woman", which was so appalling. And congrats on being a new mom and doing it with a midwife. I'm sure that was a wonderful experience you will never forget!

So I have a different theory with regards to Sharon that popped into my head. Assuming Rio is death, she was in the neighbourhood, possibly to collect Sharon, when the spell was cast to summon a Green Witch. Rio says that the spell pulled her out, which is certainly a plausible explanation, but going off the thing I mentioned the other day of Agatha describing Rio as a tourist to the Witches' Road and thus implying she's not a real witch... If Rio is death, and not a true witch, then maybe the spell didn't call her at all. It was a funny contrast of course, with Lilia saying the spell needs time to work, and then immediately cutting to Rio crawling out of the ground, but what if the spell didn't summon Rio at all and she just crawled up of her own accord?
Because that would mean that Sharon is still out there, buried in the pure magic soil of the Witches' Road, 'marinating' in a spell to summon a Green Witch.
Theory #2 is in regards to Teen: What if it is Wanda that set the Sigil and sent Teen out to guide Agatha down the Witches' Road? Wanda herself may be indisposed or some such, but also Agatha would not trust her. She also wouldn't trust Teen if she knew the boy was Wanda's. So perhaps Wanda set up the Sigil to hide Teen's identity, planted a fascination with Agatha and the Witches' Road, armed him with the spell he would need to break the hex' hold on Agatha, and sent him to Westview. After all: "I'll know where to find you."
I love all these ideas about Rio and Mrs. Hart. I can't wait to find out what game Rio is actually playing. She is such a fascinating character. And I am definitely open to Wanda casting the sigil as I hadn't considered her casting as a way of guiding Agatha down the road. That's a cool theory!

What if at the end of the road. Agatha gets her son back but not in a regular way. Like in the comics, Agatha’s son IS the literal dark hold. Calling himself “Her greatest creation.” SO, what if at the end of the road, Agatha finds her “son” which is literally just the personified version of the dark hold. She gets her powers and her son. Is that one of the many reasons why the dark hold was in the baby crib during Agatha’s hallucination? Who knows.. Im so excited for the ending and I really hope the show ends off on a good note and doesn’t end off dry. 💜
Now that's a creative theory. Would be cool to see things head in that direction with Agatha, Nicholas and the Darkhold. And yeah, I agree, I really hope they manage to stick the landing. The show has been great so far!

I had said notice in the first episode or so when Rio is the detective at Agatha's house notice Rio doesn't seem surprised or worried or run to see who's breaking into the house unless she knew someone was supposed to break into the house.
I've had an idea since they dropped the first trailer. Wouldn't it be cool if Mrs heart is a witch from long ago who maybe got put under a spell to forget. When I want to live a normal life and marry a mortal man. And this is why she was the only one strong enough to speak to say / plead for Wanda to save her husband back in Wanda Vision. And all the shenanigans of Agatha bring back her memory.

The “get off me” line came from Sharon when she was trying to find a way out. Also in the third ep when she said “I love you guys” was the end of the sentence from ep 4 by the camp fire.
I wondered about that Mrs. Hart said as well… But what she actually ended up saying was “Don't touch me”. So that seemed different enough that I don’t know if it was actually fulfilling the divination. But I could be wrong on that.

I think that there is a chance that the Witches who 'die' on the road actually aren't dead. In the promos, I remember seeing an image of Jennifer coming up out of the ground like an attractive zombie- maybe that was her coming back at the end of the road? And all the others who 'die' will as well?
PS: Agatha's mother could be the name in the open pentacle title credit card.

I love the theory at 0:48, it's like half a second on the screen (I had to watch it again and again in slow motion) but definitely seems that way, and makes so much sense after Rio asking Agatha about the boy.
I can't stop thinking about the triple goddess on the locket, and Agatha's response to it. Pawn shop guy: "Mother, Maiden, and Crone" Agatha: "What? No working professional?". It feels like so much of Agatha's story revolves around the denial of these archetypes.
Her motherhood was exchanged for the Darkhold, that one's easy. I see her maidenhood being wrapped up with Rio Vidal: they clearly have some sort of history that both of them want so bad to rekindle, but they can't. There's something keeping her from being able to just be a lover with Rio Vidal. Another option for Maiden is her Salem days, but I don't feel like there's enough there to talk about. Finally there's the crone. The crone archetype and the witch archetype are very intertwined so her mere lack of power is a deniel of her Crone identity, but I think there's more. Crones' big thing is sight: they're very keen to the situation, and this level of foresight and wisdom is what makes them powerful. This stands in extreme contrast to Agatha's 3 years in Westview as Agnes. She was completely seperated from the truth, blinded and living in a dreamscape seperate from reality.
That first theory about Rio is ... interesting. I was gonna dismiss that second theory but then you brought up that (IMO) infamous hand lick. I do wholeheartedly agree with the Rio being Hart thing, been calling that for a while. I can see the argument against it but remember Rio was fully aware of Agatha's agency being taken away which who knows what else Rio did that we don't know about yet. Also the whole them going down could be related to the song that literally says "down the witches' road" which could be taken in either context. The Tarot stuff is so fascinating to me. The idea that Teen casted the Sigil is really interesting yeah. That last one I think is a resounding YES.

During WandaVision, people were theorizing that Agnes killed Sparky just to see how Wanda would respond (which made the late line of her song even funnier). So it doesn’t seem unreasonable to think that Rio injured Teen on purpose (they’re written by the same woman after all).
Good point… Yeah, in both cases, the adversary of the series was willing to injure or even kill another life just to test someone.

I try not to theorize too much in the middle of a show, but shows like this do really seem to encourage it. I have come up with one, that being if Agatha did actually go down the Witch's Road, she met Mephisto and made a deal with him there (probably for the Darkhold, which is how she learned her absorption power), but he waited to collect until Nicholas was born years (decades? centuries?) later.
I like that theory! Yeah, that makes it all the more tragic to consider that Agatha thought maybe Mephisto wasn’t gonna collect and then finally he came and took her baby!

A minor observation: Lilia may be accidentally responsible for summoning Rio. When the coven summons a replacement, Lilia adds “let her be the BEST at her craft.” If Rio is THE Green Witch as she claims, she is the only witch that would qualify. 🧙

And don’t fall for all these theories a lot of these come from new rockstars like Billy putting the Sigil on himself!

While I don't think Teen is Nicholas Scratch, I do think it's possible that when Rio says "the boy isn't yours" she could mean, you already gave him up, so he no longer belongs to you. Most likely he's billy since that's what everyone is saying tho.
Right, I do think there could be a double meaning to Rio's statement and if there is a double meaning, then I think you nailed it perfectly!
I'm 100% on board with the Billy Maximoff/Billy Kaplan/Sigil theory. I think this is Marvel's way of adapting a very convoluted origin story from the comics. I really like the callback to Wanda's lullaby in WandaVision episode 3 as a source of the protection sigil if it isn't Billy Maximoff's clumsy attempt to hide himself from Agatha & other witches. I also agree about Rio being the one who threw 'Teen' through the window. But I have a different thought to why.
My theory is if Rio is 'Death' she is trying to collect Billy Kaplan's body. When the car crash happens, Billy Kaplan dies but if Billy Maximoff's soul now inhabits the body, she can't. I don't think she was attempting to see how attached Agatha is to 'Teen' when she flung him through the glass window, but she was actively trying to kill him. I think when Rio sees how the attack affected Agatha that is when she finds out how attached Agatha is to him. Rio deduces quickly why and reveals to Agatha that the boy isn't Nicholas. Rio knows exactly who 'Teen' is. She also probably isn't affected by the sigil due to that knowledge. My belief is we will learn who 'Teen' is by episode 6 due to a spoiler leaked by Ali Ahn in TVline. She mentioned a bar mitzvah scene in that episode. I think we know about the accident but not necessarily Billy Kaplan dying or Death's connection to why she is after 'Teen' until later in the show'. The only obstacle to my theory is in episode 1. If Rio has been hunting Billy Kaplan for his body, she was standing directly in front of the closet where he was bound by Agatha. But I'm taking that as more of an oversight of the creators in crafting that sequence.
There could be a series of scenes later in the show revealing how Death has been following these characters. Lilia's hallucination in episode 2 stopped short of revealing Death's true identity as it creeped behind her mentor. What if that hallucination played a few seconds longer and the skull transforms into Rio's face. What if we see the aftermath of the Kaplan car crash and Death is standing over Billy Kaplan's lifeless body only to be agitated, he takes in a breath, as Billy Maximoff enters into his body. Maybe she has a connection to Alice's demon and the family curse. Death could have been hunting these witches by design. It'll be interesting once we see how the writers handle the first witch to fall.
I do think every witch is going to fall in the show due to the promotion showing only Agatha and 'Teen' reach the final destination of the castle. The order of the fallen witches will most likely be as they walked down the witches' road. First, Sharon, then Alice, Lilia and lastly Jennifer. But I can't see Jac Schaeffer wanting that to be the end of their stories. It doesn't make sense for Lorna wanting Alice to travel down the road to save her, but she dies soon after ridding herself of the family curse. Even Lorna Wu's lyrics to the Ballad says, "I'll see you at the end". Implying Lorna meets her daughter at the end of her journey, unless we do get a mother/daughter reunion before Alice dies which would be heartbreaking to say the least. The promos show Jennifer rising from the ground so I'm hopeful any fallen witch is saved. That could come from a choice Agatha makes in the finale or Billy coming into his own power by manipulating the mystical forces of the witches' road. If Billy is shown to be the spiritual son of Wanda, he has the ability to interfere with probability and change outcomes. All the witches could potentially return. Remember Agatha seemed to have a moment of bonding with the witches at the campfire in episode 4. After dealing with her loss maybe she gains a found sisterhood she was lacking and thus unintentionally creates her own coven.
I'm still going with my theory on 'Teen' getting possessed in episode 5. I'll see if that pans out tomorrow. Joe Locke has said 'Teen' is not the same 'Teen' from the first four episodes as he is later in the show. I can't figure out how 'Teen' can drastically make that change unless something big happens in episode 5. Perhaps the way Alice potentially goes down by Agatha absorbing her magic could be a good enough reason. He has never seen Agatha absorb other witches' powers. Agatha didn't want him to see her do it in episode 2 when she sent him upstairs and attempted to prompt the witches to blast her. But since this episode 5 introduces possession and the Nicholas Scratch thread has yet to be addressed fully, I'm going with 'Teen' getting possessed. If it doesn't happen, c'est la vie. I know this is long but to add a bit of something I omitted from my post regarding Rio's (Death) design for this particular group of witches, besides Billy Kaplan. Lilia escaped the plague which had killed millions in Europe, Death could had been chasing after her for some time. According to Agatha, Alice should have been dead long ago due to her family curse if not for the protection spell. Now that the protection spell has lifted when the demon is excised, she is no longer immune to Death coming to claim her. I haven't figured out Death's design for Jennifer Kale yet, perhaps there is a connection in a future episode. Death could be hunting all these witches for various reasons and is the true villain of the show. Maybe it's by design, Alice's attempts to 'protecting Agatha' is spurred on by Death taking its opportunity. The finale could be by defeating Death or finding a loophole brings everyone back...including Sharon Davis. Agatha said she didn't think Sharon had it in her at the beginning of episode 4. There was no explanation for that statement. Debra Jo Rupp said she liked her character arc in Agatha All Along. Maybe there is more to Sharon that meets the eye.

I truly can’t wait to see how everything pans out with Teen because there’s so much mystery surrounding him. I would be perfectly fine if they went with your theories, as they make a lot of sense and fit very well with what we’ve seen so far!
I wonder if TEEN doesn’t get recruited by Cassie, Kate, or Kamala by the end of this series, might he be under the protectionor tutelage of Agatha? In the comics, one of the things Agatha is highly regarded for is being watching over kids - sometimes Billy and Tommy a little, but usually Franklin Richards.
That or, maybe she will help future witches the way she sometimes guides Wanda in the comics.
Yeah, I bet that Teen gets recruited for the young avengers and it would be interesting if he was actually under the tutelage of Agatha at that point!
Unfortunately im pretty sure someone else is going to die before the season ends, there is a clip of either Rio or Agatha saying “the bodies are really starting to pile up” or something along those lines. We haven’t seen this scene yet but it implies more people will die 😢❤.

Here’s a dumb theory: Lilia, Jen and Alice (and maybe teen) seem to be getting on really well so after Agatha probably betrays them, they could form the just-witch league (yes this was a terrible justice league pun, I’m sorry)

i don’t know if this means anything, but when each one of the coven were poisoned we saw their actual visions except for mrs hart, maybe they just didn’t want to include elizabeth olsen for such a short scene but it could be rio just lying, she seems to be very well informed about what’s happened in westview, she knew wanda left with the darkhold and trapped agatha in a spell
Great point! We don't actually see Mrs. Hart's hallucination and then she conveniently faints on the couch. Yeah, those are some good indications that it was Rio!
How does Rio even know who teen is, if that sigil is supposed to prevent any witch from knowing who he is? Clearly Rio isn’t a regular witch and is immune from the sigil somehow.

As far as Lilia's divinations, there is another we got in episode 4. Randomly in episode 3, she bursts out and says "I love you guys." In episode 4 near the end she makes the comment along the lines of "You know, we couldn't stand each other at first but now..." And she trails off, the rest of the sentence having been meant to say 'but now I love you guys.'
I always thought that Agathas "mother" was not her biological mother, but that she referred to her as the highest in the hierarchy of their coven with that word. Maybe that doesn't change anything about the theory 😅 but also did agatha trade her son for the darkhold before she was attacked by her former coven? I believed the attack was the result of her making obtaining the darkhold 🤔 I am propably missing something either from the story or this video, but hopefully we get a clearer timeline of what happened in salem back then
Interesting idea that it wasn't Agatha's actual mother. ig I don't know for sure on that. I assumed it was her mom, but maybe not? As for getting the Darkhold, I've always wondered if Agatha was drawn to it, but didn't possess it in that 1693 scene or if she already had it. The lines were:

Also on the note of the exits always being a downward descent the ballad does say, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN the road about a million times maybe we took that at face value when it was meant to be a more literal hint! I'm also interested in how they leave the road? is it a normal door back do they all just suddenly find themselves back in her basement. Does the road deteriorate around them and leave them back in reality. I hadn't noticed all the exits were downwards but now I'm very intrigued

I think that if Rio really is Death herself, she may have some kind of omniscience that would allow her to know everything that happened in WandaVision, or see Mrs. Heart's memories of killing her and impersonating her. On the other hand, if it really is "Lady Death" it makes sense that the poison wouldn't work on her, because you can't kill death.
My two theories:
First, tomorrow, Alice is going to sacrifice herself to save possessed Agatha, and Lilia's premonitions were about finding another way.
Second, I wonder if Jennifer, Lilia, and Alice are all going to die on the road, Agatha demands Nicholas back as her reward, and she gets her coven back too for some reason.
Very good theories. I like the idea of Lilia sacrificing herself. That's the type of noble gesture I could see her making.
I think Alice will try to blast Agatha not to kill her but protect her, like shield her of sort, but Agatha's ability will suck all energy out of Alice and kill her.
The real tragedy however will be Lilia trying to warn her "Alice don't" but won't be able to because she already foretold that warning.
The thing with Lilia is, I don't think she has visions, I think her mind slips through time. So when she will try to warn Alice, her mind will be in the past and won't be able to say anything. What a cursed power to have 😢
Rio being Mrs. Hart is the theory I hope not true. But for some actual counterpoints:
- They behave too differently, so unless Rio "forgets" who she is when shapeshifting, that doesn't fit really well... for me at least.
- Rio is presumably Death, so her job is to collect bodies (or souls?) and she was in the neighbor to collect Sharon's, so they are different characters.
- Agatha mentioned that they only needed all the witches to open the door, then the less they are, the more power they get. Now she told Rio that she expected her later, like she was planning to kill the other witches, but Sharon's not being a real witch or their mistake made Death come earlier.
Has anyone else noticed how much this represents Inferno? Also, Wanda never created her children's souls. They were always made out of pieces of Mephisto's soul...
You’re right, it does seem to represent inferno. And yeah, in the comics, the souls were part of Mephisto. I’m wondering if they’re gonna change that and if it turns out that the scarlet witch did actually end up creating them herself in the MCU. We will find out as the season continues to roll on!
The first 2 theories do go together as if the theory that Rio became Death then she is unable to kill so she has to ensure that if she causes dmg she has to fix it.
Don't forget that a true coven was there. The Salem seven are a true coven.
Good point about Rio...yeah, in that regard the first two theories do tie together nicely. And I am very anxious to see the Salem Seven return. They are going to be a real problem for Agatha and her companions. That would be wild if they were the only reason the door opened!

Agreed! That was very un-Rio like. My only thought is maybe she was playing the long game and pretending to be helpless. But yeah, that scene definitely goes against the Rio theory.
i still really want to believe nicholas scratch is blackheart, i feel like alot of the dialogue about agatha and what she did to her son all lead to him showing back up in a form she wouldnt recognize ie, blackheart.

I do think Alice and Lilia are on the chopping block but I would be sad if Alice died on the Road. Her mother said the Road would "save" her. And, yes, she got rid of the curse but you could argue she'd have been better not going on the Road and just living with the curse since she had the protection spell.
Yeah, I do kind of wonder if even the witches that fall along the road are brought back in the end somehow. The trailers did show Jennifer crawling out of the ground so maybe there’s a way to come back to the world of the living. I would hate to see Alice‘s journey end on the road

From what I've read about the leaks, in episode 2 we saw that the Salem 7 entered the house, there are easily 7 of them, and none of them attacked Teen, only one "tried" to grab him but not harm him, the Salem 7 want Teen to worship him like the Scarlet Witch, they know he's the reincarnation of the Demiurge, Teen's boyfriend is working with Rio, I would believe that Rio or the boyfriend put the sigil on Teen
The pentacle refers to Billy and how all this involves him, Billy in the comics has been seen as forming a pentacle on his feet when he conjures a spell
I like the theory Rio shot Teen through the air. Because the demon was about FIRE & was burning everyone up (or @ least 2 of them). I was wondering, why switch up method on Teen?!
I think the opposite. I don’t think Rio helped heal Teen. In fact, she doesn’t seem to be doing much of anything! I thought Rio “THE Green Witch” WAS supposed to be the healer! But looking at the 2nd episode again, they never said what a green witch was supposed to do. Just that it’s very important to have her for success down the witches’ road.
Agatha said that the SLIGHTEST bit of magical powers is enough to form a coven (& open an entrance to the witches’ road). Later, Agatha said that she didn’t think Mrs. Samantha Davis/Mrs. Hart had it in her. Teen said that ANYONE could be a witch with the proper training. My theory is Samantha DID have enough magic in her to help open the door to the road. And if she didn’t in the past, being enchanted by Mrs. Wanda Maximoff Vision/The Scarlet Witch GAVE her (& everyone else in town) residual magic!
My other theory is that the black heart on the coven list COULD mean Mrs. “Hart”/Samantha AND/OR it could also stand for TEEN. Because Teen has a sigil on him, masking his I.D., the witches can’t SEE his name written, either.
I noticed the underlying theme of “Wanda Vision” & “It Was Agatha All Along” is women’s trauma over the death of a loved one.
Maybe the doctor was a fictionalized version of J. Marion Sims.
So based on Agatha’s mother issue theory, that may be AGATHA’S hair in the broach-locket. (Which would make sense, because I always thought the lock of hair was TOO LONG for a baby!)

It's not really a huge theory but I kind of feel that Agatha lost Nicholas BEFORE she got the Darkhold. The fact that her hallucination in the water trial seemed to mimic the ending of Rosemary's Baby makes me wonder if she didn't really get much of a choice in giving him up, much like Rosemary not really having much of a choice regarding her baby. Perhaps her mother's coven gave him up to someone (Mephisto or Rio? I'm leaning less towards Rio) and it wasn't up to her? And she could have got the Darkhold in the hopes of getting him back. I don't know. I'm not good with making theories. I'm just having fun and enjoying watching the show. Great video by the way!

I’ve been thinking why is the show called Agatha All Along. I know it was influenced by the popular song during WandaVision. However, I wonder if there is more to the story that maybe relates to the title more? Like it easily could have been called any of the fake titles and still worked. So, I wonder if they are just making a connection to the song or if maybe like how the lyrics of the ballad are interwoven with the plot maybe so is the Agatha all along song?

I don't think Ms Hart was Rio. Rio was in the 'neighbourhood' because Ms Hart died, thus she came to collect the body as Lady Death. She even said 'Magic takes the path of least resistance', it didn;t need to summon a witch because Rio had already been 'summoned' by the death of Ms. Hart.
Yeah, I'm definitely 50/50 on whether I think Rio has been pretending to be Mrs. Hart. And you raise some valid reasons to assume it wasn't Rio. Great feedback!

Is Alice's story finished: a trailer showed Jennifer crawling out of the ground (I'm guessing it's in "the real world" because she's in her og pink dress), so I wonder if Alice will be spit out (not killed) by the road where she'll meet her mother, Elvis, and Jimmy Hoffa.
Other thoughts: has Agatha's motive behind influencing Wanda to have kids in Wandavision been explained? Agatha and Teen claim that they want power at the end of the road (cue Boyz II Men), but all during Wandavision, Agatha had been testing her to see if she could create life or bring back someone back to life. So, it seems Agatha's "lust for power" may be just a means for her to resurrect someone and/or see if Wanda could also create life from a metaphysical metaphor within the Hex. Could Agatha have done something to Wanda while she was "pregnant?" Although she threatened the boys in the finale of Wandavision, Agatha may have formed a bond with them, as she was their babysitter in the compressed timeline.
One thing is clear, nobody cares about Tommy, nobody.

My tin foil hate theory:
Teen is looking for his mother, and he thinks his mom is Agatha, put the sigil on himself to 'force' Agatha to accept him for who he is.
I also think teen came to the road to find his mother, expecting to connect with Agatha, but the road will bring Wanda back instead.
What if Agatha came to Westview to steal Wanda's power in order to bring her son back?
I don't think Rio helped to heal Teen because in the first episode she needed physical contact (if it wasn't just for "tension").

I am a bit slow sorry but if Wanda could create her kids souls after the hex was dropped why not just create the physical bodies I actually never understood the extent and working of her powers in Wandavision . Confusing to say at the least.
Great questions! So I think that Wanda was completely unaware that she could create things because Agatha is the one that told her about that in the final episode. And I also wonder if it was the combination of her initial hex, but also that Sokovian and lullaby. So the bottom line is, I don’t think she realized she knew she created something. But also I think her mission was to find her original kids. So even if she was able to re-create her kids, she didn’t wanna do that. She wanted to find her kids. And the darkhold tricked her by making her think they were across the Multiverse
Certainly some interesting theories. I just try not to speculate too much because that can result in disappointment. I want things to remain good in the show and have some surprises, but if some theories fail, I hope that people don't then lose faith in the show for its own merits and doing its own thing.
Good point...over theorizing can indeed lead to disappointment. But on the flip side, I do like these type of theories, as many of them won't come true but they may be slowly helping us unpack what we are seeing and then may lead to what actually happens in the end. I think Marvel is smart to do the week by week release schedule as it allows for this type of fun fan engagement.

Like trying to make sense out of the Secret Invasion writers saying Rhodey's been a Skrull since Civil War. Well what if Rhodey's been a Skrull since between Iron Man 1 and 2, which is why he looks like Don Cheadle instead of Terrence Howard, and the Skrulls used their mind thingies to make everyone not realize Rhodey changed his look. And then in Civil War, when that Skrull gets hurt, another one takes his place, and this one Skrull has been in the bunker the whole time and was so good at their job, even the Skurlls didn't know it was a Skrull. Rhodey's been a Skrull the whole time. This is real big brain activity right here; I'm on an entirely different level!

I watched the first episode and it didn’t really appeal to me, is it worth it to watch the rest of the show? So far this is the only mcu project I’ve skipped. I even watched both seasons of I am groot.
While I really liked the first episode, I have heard from people who didn’t like it as well, but really liked things after that first episode. So I would say give it a few more episodes and see if it grows on you. I personally think the mysteries in the show are really awesome and I’m betting that by the end of the season it’s going to be right about as popular as WandaVision was.
I think Rio killed Agatha‘s mother and the whole covenant to save Agatha. That’s why her heart is black and that’s why Agatha cannot take her powers becausethey’re tainted.

The story is kind of parallel with Wandavision. Agatha lost her child, most likely walked the road to get him back, but Death said no. Insert the Darkhold and I can see why Agatha lost it. The trials are like a walkthrough in their past, and what holds them back. Like Agatha said: the only way out is through
