I from Agentina, I have an ACL injury, it doesn't hurt but I'm going straight to surgery, the inflammation is down but since I can't move fast or have a high range of motion and I've been watching your routines for a week and they are great, they help me distract my mind and focus on my game
I'm looking for input here as a learning hooper, is modeling my game after great players like Kyrie Irving or Isaiah Thomas the best way to start out, or is focusing on fundamentals and mindset the best way to become a better player?
Well for one you should definitely do more handle drills then just this, not saying it’s bad but it could use a bit more on the move drills, and I can’t say a specific time but for me I’ve noticed that when I focus and lock in on a very specific move or skill it takes me 2/3 weeks for it to be effective during games, it helps when you do it at game speed the right way in the right spot, then do it in 1v1, and gradually increase the difficulty until you can do it at 5v5 which is what you need. I hoped this helped and stay safe
Do a full ball handling workout in the morning & then skills training in the evening & lift during the day, that’s what I’ve been doing & I’ve seen great progress.
