Crazy features for such a small and cheap drone, that gives you a taste of multiple uses. Many say it's not good, but it's so new give it time and a few firmware updates and like most drones it should get better with time.
The footage from your Neo looks impressive. While professional videography critics may find fault, the average UA-cam viewer likely won't notice or be concerned with its issues.

I dont think tello should be even mentioned anywhere anymore, it’s an early attempt from years ago. Neo seems to fly like a good cinewhoop based on these vids, ofcourse wind will affect a cinewhoop somewhat
The Tello was a toy and I believe was not even a DJI product, it just used DJI tech. I have both the Neo is a huge step up, and still about the same price as the Tello was. The Tello still needed a phone app to make it fly, Neo is ready to fly in 10 seconds, much more easy to catch those fast moments that other drones would for sure miss
I was flying more than 1000 hours in simulator (fpv- liftoff , freerider, etc.) and only one time i have tried real fpv - my friends chimera 7, and it was - wow. Now i cant consider what to buy , i want small fpv with a good camera, and i preffer to have analog video on it but with possibility to record in 4k. My budget is not so big, but please help me with the choise? As i understand neo is not a typical fpv acro drone?
Looks like you can just snap the upper and lower prop guards off and on?! Didn’t realize that! Have you seen any comparison videos as to how it flys with and without those extra guards? I’d imagine it’s better without🤔
@@man.fromearth I think it is darwinfpv will be better if you want the "real" fpv experience as DJI (imo) doesn't really offer that. If you want a selfie drone or a overhyped plastic fpv drone (albeit really smart) than get DJI, but I prefer "real fpv"

To fly indoors, around people without worrying about chopping up something... I was surprised by the 7KM (4 mile) range with a real controller! Still looking for the radio specs
Too bad it's all on UA-cam because technically until you compare the other video and flight it looks good. I mean it's not as good at all not comparable but putting it online doesn't matter anymore. That all looks pretty good if you told me that was on something else I'd believe it. It's hard to tell what's what sometimes unless it's a really good camera and it's color graded kinda makes it shine if you're just using it for social.
If they improve the picture quality by giving the user more options (an easy fix with a firmware update) I'll buy one for my daughter to get her into the hobby. I already own the Mini 4 Pro and Avata 2 and because of the really poor quality of the NEO would never use it as it is now, but maybe when it gets an upgrade. BTW which city is in this video?

You say the other ones cost you $1000. But those come with the goggles and controller as well. Yes, this is $200 but once you add in the goggles and controller, you’re at $800.
Yes but if you have other drones, then you don’t need to spend as much. This is a nice feature! Also the Fly More packages that include the remote come with 3 batteries in total too. If you were to buy the 3 batteries separately, it would cost the same but without a remote.
How can you fly it over city in EU? Isn't it normally forbidden? I know they say about airspaces A1 A2 A3 etc but all seems to be just blah blah since if the area is designated as no fly you can't fly at all and all cities and houses are designated as no fly. So... how?

Come on! comparing Avata 2 to Neo is like comparing Micheal Jackson to Lady Gaga. Go do your homework properly man. Don't mislead newbies and investors. The camera that comes with Avata 2 is topnotch (and not a toy like Neo). The Avata battery lasts atleast 40% more. Avata can withstand breeze 2.5 times better. There is more. The price difference of Neo with RC + Googles is not more than 200 dollars compared to Avata, and for that 200 dollars you get lot more with Avata. Do you homework well before you post such silly misleading videos.
I think you're overlooking the weight difference. In my country, you can fly anything up to 249 grams anywhere you like. The Neo is only 135 grams. The Avatar 2 is way heavier and can't be flown near buildings or people. I will probably get one eventually, but for a beginner especially, the Neo is cheaper to replace, is allowed to fly anywhere and more easily portable.

if you're new and a beginner then yes, would recommend this as a starter, otherwise, just save for the AVATA 2, got better quality camera, overall better drone
You were flying in the Old City of Gdansk, in a zone where normally flying drones without permission is forbidden, let alone flying high over pedestrians' heads or very close to very old and precious monuments which was just very irresponsible! Some buildings are over 700 yrs old! I couldn't see your drone marked with pilot number which is required to fly in the EU, that's why I think you shouldn't have done this. Besides the quality of the movie itself it bothered me much, especially as a resident of Gdansk.
Where you are flying? it is a nice city. But in Germany, it is forbidden to fly about 100 around the railroad, without you can see the drone by your own eyes. Where is the the land, that allow this flights? Or you are a professional flyer and you have an authorisation.
@@mcmach1 it doesn't matter what I do. What I don't do, is hope and pray that the internal memory doesn't go belly up before I get the chance to copy to my computer. I also don't like micromanaging the storage on my devices. There really is no excuse for not having a microsd card slot.

Yes IF it is the Motion Controller 3. Will not work with second generation accessories. But you have to use the Goggles 3 too.

Neo video is perfectly fine for social media use. If you are making a movie for Sundance or Hollywood, then this is "trashy" quality.
Dji neo for beginner's like me and I already have it. Upgrading to a higher level soon.

Then it costs 100 less than if you buy avata 2 bundles. For this case, it's not really that worth it.
My neo stays at 1080p 60. Its 2024. 24fps and 30fps look like garbage always. No matter how good the camera or person using it is.
