I'm pretty stoked to say that this has just changed in a recent update from DJI where the Goggles 3 & Remote 3 are now able to be used with DJI O3. This compatibility doesn't reach back to the original DJI Air Units, but it's still a very welcomed addition. I'll up the M-Points for this category to 6 😉

First up I'll offer a little criticism of the presentation irrespective of subject and content. Well done indicative of telent refined with effort to improve those gifts. The Avata provides 60% of the fun of a private manned aircraft at a negotiable cost. The immersive flight makes the world a whole different place to explore and experience again from a virgin perspective. I've gotten to see flowers in places and from perspectives otherwise unobtainable. Different flavor of fun.
Picked one of these up after just having a Neo for a week haha, DJI just made this available on its own so I just picked one up for £369 just one battery comes with that but even 10-20 minutes of flight time on one battery is brilliant!
This is a great video! The M system really makes it way easier to understand. Maybe you could do this with other videos. I’m thinking of eventually upgrading to the avata 2 so thanks again!
I sold my DJI FPV, i bought it 2 weeks before first avata got released, sold it for 750 €, it was very bad to carry around and i could not take it to plan due to the size. Got my hands on second hand avata 2 fly more combo for 850€ with delivery, i had no intention of buying it but could not get away from that deal so i got it. Can sell it for 1100€ now. Very happy, very big improvements over first DJI FPV. I have never used first avata so cant compare to it. It has 2h flight in logs so it is almost brand new.
I just got the avata 2 fly more kit 800 bucks flew it for the first time today and it's a lil weird bud super fkn bad ass I love it. I've only got the dji minis finally upgraded and it's killer
thanks for the revew. I have the avata 2 and its amazing for slow cinematic vidios or house tours and its amazing for just flying around and exploring. its very beginner friendly and fun to fly. I think you have summed up the avata 2 really well. I think you should mention fcc and ce mode because it really affects the stuff you can do with it. keep up the good work!
I've been treating mine is basically a really expensive RTF Acro trainer. In that regard I'm satisfied. You have to be really careful diving with low battery or you'll hit the ground. I'm definitely a bit concerned about the goggles 3 still not having any FPV compatibility whatsoever. I feel completely stuck until some 03/vista compatibility gets patched.
I have the Avata 2 and I'm not sure if the firmware updates have drastically addressed these issues but I haven't encountered any of the issues that you mentioned. I really enjoy the Avata 2 but do wish it was more wind resistant.
I found the best way i could get a decent setup at a budget price was to get a refurbished unit from DJI, i went with the Avata 1 Explorer combo, already had the controller 2 from my DJI FPV drone. All i need to do now is get the Avata 2 on its own then i have all 3 DJI FPV drones...Win win 😎👌

Im just starting with FPV. Question is, should you buy a avata at all? From my Research there should be better alternatives like a nasgul. And i cant wait to build my own 😅
In case you are sure about your plans to enter FPV, there are two experiences: Start with an avata and you will out grow it within 6 Months. Guaranteed. Its is like, you can't switch off the automatic assistance systems and while you progress with control over your quad, it will limit you. On the other hand, a nazgul might feel scary and overwhelming to start with. It is like starting driving with a super sport car. So my tip is: It depends on what you wanna do. If you just want enjoying cruising FPV, an avata is pretty awesome and will you enable to do that without stress and fear. If you are about to send your quad and plan to start learning tricks, risking your quad, you might wanna skip the avata. Especially the version 2 because she might take a beat, but will certainly not survive harder impacts. You should be willing to let these 500 Euro go... Like, ehhm, yes, in case you plan to power loop to the moon and back and are serious about progressing, you should not be afraid off spending about 100 Euro per month in median. You will crash and you will break stuff. That's part of the hobby. The avata is rather a fpvish freestyleable cinewhoop. Neither a mini4 nor a nazgul. Somewhere in the middle of those.

@@littledoseTM I have started with the avata and then got a nazgul. The I bought a 3inch and after 2 years, I usually grab my 2inch betafpv pavo20 for some fun. The 5 inchs stress me still out because of their weight and danger. 😅

Even tho I practiced on sim, now I want to buy Avata 1 or avata 2 just to be safe from unwanted damage which I can control with pause button. Getting into fpv is totally expensive 😢
