I hope this Ford Transit conversion gives you some inspiration, I always appreciate feedback on my van tours so let me know what you think in the comments! :-) I've also been trying out some new camera software, so let me know if the quality of this video is better?

Nice layout alternative to the fixed bed arrangement. Love the wood stove, though do you need permanent external ventilation to ensure good combustion? Look forward to seeing the van finished :)

Thanks Phil, there is permanent ventilation under the burner through the vans floor the maxx fan is constant ventilation and will be creating a few more to ensure good flow! Keen eye for detail! Hopefully not too much longer!

said it once I'll say it again most indepth how to on you tube! learning alot from this series!
I do have a question mabi you can help me with.
could you glue and pin cladding strait to the ply lining using it as a template also. especially on the small back door sections?

Do you mean screw the ply into the metal work and then fix the cladding straight into that?

@@Aboutavan yeah so for eg the small back door ply cut outs that you can remove. could you just glue and pin or screw the cladding to them and use the ply as a template and cut the excess cladding off to the shape after you have stuck it to the ply. then fix the ply back up with the cladding stuck to it. hope that make sense lol 😵

I can’t see why that would be an issue, use a router and ensure that the guide wheel sits on the ply, it’ll trim the t&g down nicely, just get the t&g as close to the ply as possible so the router isn’t having to work too hard!

@@Aboutavan cheers bud! I'm in the process of looking for a van at the moment so I'll give it a go. can't wait to get started on it. not done anything like this before that's why I'm finding your vids so helpful. I'm a tree surgeon so don't have much experience with any of this sort of thing. but I'm pretty good at swinging round trees with a chainsaw😁 take care man thanks again! 👍
