Just a warning note: Some years back my mother ended up in the hospital with classic gallbladder symptoms. All the imaging didn't reveal gallstones so their plan was to send my 80 y/o mother home on pain management. I like to had a fit. I did my own research and discovered a little known gallbladder issue that primarily occurs in elderly women where the gallbladder twists and it does NOT show up on imaging. I contacted the Director of Nursing and told her that my mother was going home on pain management over my dead body. The surgeon called and I explained to him what I had discovered in my research. He kind of blew past that but said he had consulted with her cardiologist and he would operate. After the surgery he came out with a bemused expression and said: "It was kind of just twisted up in there". BINGO I replied... If I had accepted their findings, my mother would have gone home, gone septic and died. If you have elderly family members who have gallbladder issues with no stones, inform their doctor, and if they ignore you, fire them and get another.

The problem is, Doctors are not Gastroenterologists. Certain Gastroenterologists specializes in Gallbladder Obstructions, without the use of Surgery. Surgeons want to just cut it out, Gastroenterologist instead Run a (EUS) Endoscopic Ultrasound from inside the Stomach, and also perform an ERCP to remove the Stones, while inside the Stomach, and locate the Bile Duct by the Duodenum, and remove each one without any cutting, leaving the Gallbladder untouched. Stones do not show up on CT Scan most of the time, I know, because they didn't show up on my CT Results either. Before any Procedure can be performed, you need to get an (MRI)-MRCP to efficiently diagnose Gallstones, and any other Biliary Issues, because the MRCP picks up more than just the Stones, thanks, I hope this helps.

I had gallstones in the December 2014. I felt sick after eating fatty food. One night after another big meal i had such a pain under my rib that i had to call 911 to come and get me to the hospital. In the hospital i got injected with morphine and i felt so much better but i had to stay in the hospital for 5 days. It was 2 days before Christmas. Doc told me they need to remove my gallbladder after the holidays cause he is leaving to Europe for Xmas. After the holidays i felt better so i let it go and never showed up at the docs office. 5 months later i ended up in the hospital again. This time with Pancreatitis. The stones left my gallbladder and got stuck in a bile duct. So removal oF my GB was no longer needed. Doc put me under anesthesia and put a long tube in my mouth all the way to my stomach where they pushed my 3 stones into my intestines . I flushed them out later. So i got to keep my gallbladder and im perfectly fine for 9 years already 😊

Wonderful to know this ❤️. I too had an experience like this, but didn't involve hospitalisation the second time. I drank apple juice for 2 weeks continuously and suddenly the stone started moving and got stuck in the middle of my stomach below the rib cage. I kept massaging it and it felt like I was swallowing it down. And it felt like a rebirth literally.
i have one more, so I'll probably do the same soon and get it over with. Good to know.

    Dr Bergs notes shared:
It turns out that the most common symptom of gallstones is having no symptoms at all. 80% of people with gallstones don’t experience any symptoms until the situation worsens.
Other symptoms of gallstones or a gallbladder problem:
    • Pain or tightness under the right ribcage
    • Pain under the right rhomboid
    • Pain in the neck that runs up the side of the face
    • Nausea
    • Vomiting
    • Bloating
    • Belching
    • Jaundice
    • Dark urine
    • Pale stool
Gallstones can form when a person has high cholesterol and a lack of bile. Bile helps thin and eliminate cholesterol. A deficiency of bile is the real problem.
The gallbladder is an important organ that helps you store and concentrate bile and absorb fat-soluble nutrients.
Bile sludge is a common problem that can also cause pain, even when there aren’t any stones. Bile sludge can occur at different times but can be a complication after having your gallbladder removed, causing some of the same symptoms that lead you to have surgery.
    Risk factors for getting gallstones:
    • Pregnancy
    • Birth control pills
    • Obesity
    • Type-2 diabetes
    • Liver disease
    • Constipation
    • Low folate
    • Taking PPIs
    • Consuming a high-carb diet
    • Consuming a low-fat diet
Natural ways to help get rid of gallstones:
    1. Take purified bile salts and probiotics
    2. Consume salad
    3. Use acupressure
    4. Decrease your insulin (do intermittent fasting and go on the keto diet)

@@JohnQPublic345 It feels like indigestion. Then feeling nauseous and loss of appetite. Tried to sleep, but couldn't and sweating. Went to urgent care and the doctor there pushed and moved my abdomen and I would feel some relief. This is probably due to dislodging the stone and allow urine to flow down and relieving the back pressure on the kidney.
My research showed symptoms of a kidney stone. I then inverted myself with legs up in the air, having my body weight on the back of my shoulders to maybe dislodge it again. Lo and behold, I felt an instant relief and had no pain. I must have moved it to where it didn't obstruct the flow of urine down to my bladder.
The CAT scan I had afterwards still showed a kidney stone in my ureter about 8 mm. luckily, it had no obstruction and I was able to have a scheduled lithotripsy to remove it.
Good luck and I hope you get it resolved and recover quickly.

I've had gallstones, and everything Dr. Berg said is true. This happened in 2013 when I was only 20 years old. I remember thinking it was very serious because I had no idea what it could have be plus I was very young. A few days later I had my gallbladder removed, and some days before this I went to the clinic, just before my appointment I was in the bathroom and noticed my eyes were yellow, Jaundice in other words. A bit later the "doctor" asked if I was depressed, I said no not really, I said that my eyes were yellow in color he then googles "Yellow Eyes" how he got through medicine school is the greatest mystery ever. This is still the most bisarre moment of my life.

I had seven of those ten symptoms. That's why I got online and did a sweeping search for information and help. I found your many videos, Dr. Berg. I purchased your Gall Bladder Formula and two bottles of Tudca. It doesn't work overnight. But with consistent use ( along with timing and fasting ) I was cured in about 5 to 6 weeks. Zero symptoms. The only time it comes back now is around holidays when I break routine and eat holiday foods that spike my insulin.
At this point I have nearly forgotten the intense pain and discomfort I once experienced from my gall bladder. Your video reminds me though. And it is good to remember that pain and discomfort every once in a while. There is no more powerful motivator than the avoidance of that.
I am grateful for your work and the work of your most excellent team, Dr. Berg. You are all in my prayers. Take care and have a great day.

I've had two gallstones between 2018-2019. I did extensive research on it and decided to keep my gallbladder. The first year after my last gallstone I reduced my intake of fatty foods by a lot. I lost 30 lbs of weight (making me underweight). In short, the reduction of fatty foods DID NOT reduce symptoms of gallstones. I had constant pressure under the ribcage and gassy after every meal. My body felt unhealthy. I started researching more and discovered taking 1200mg of lecithin after every meal has dramatically reduced symptoms. If I felt pressure in my gallbladder I could take a pill and the discomfort will decrease within 15-20 minutes. I now eat whatever I want (including vitamins and minerals everyday) with very...very little issues. I've gained back 35 Ibs and have never felt better. I hope this helps.

Just 2 weeks after I gave birth to my 3rd child I began passing gall stones. Only at the time I had no idea that that’s what was happening. All I knew is that almost every day I was on the floor in complete agony! I went to the emergency room THREE times (in Syracuse NY) & they “couldn’t figure out what was wrong” even my husband asked “could it be gall or kidney stones?” They said No! The pain was so much that I was vomiting almost constantly all day long. FINALLY I went to a different ER & low & behold… they said I’ve been passing gall stones… I was passing them for such a long period of time (since the doctors at the first ER couldn’t figure it out the first few times I went) that I literally RAN OUT OF SPACE in my gall bladder & stones began piling up in my bile duct! Resulting in TWO surgeries… 1. Removal of stones from my bile duct. & 2. (Next day) removal of the gall bladdar. I now also have a permanent inflamed pancreas due to this as well. Was a whole nightmare 😣

One old home remedy to help dissolve gallstones over time is to take a teaspoon of olive oil. It's a small amount, and the idea is you take this small amount by itself several times a day, with at least an hour between spoons. It's understood to cause a small amount of fresh bile to be released, and this causes a little softening and erosion of the stones in the gall bladder. The goal is to soften and erode the stones until they become slushy and can pass without issues.

I had my gallbladder removed 9 weeks ago. I had my whole gallbladder full of stones and it had started to shrink. After they had removed they sent it in for an analysis. The results showed that I had a lot of cholesterol in it.
My symptoms were nausea after eating. I had a very sharp pain in my septum, so much pain that I threw up. The day before I went to the E.R, I had so much pain that I fainted sitting down.
About a month before I went to the E.R, I showed the first symptoms, so I went to my local Healthcare Centre. But they just took my blood pressure and then sent me home with recommendations that I should exercise more.
Let’s just say that I’m happy I didn’t ignore further symptoms and strongly followed my intuition that is was gallstones and actually went to the E.R.

I tried vegan diet almost a year after having a baby and boy did that pain hit me. I was told I had sludge and was giving antacids. they didn’t want to remove my gallbladder so I just dealt with the pain from time to time it was horrible. so I abandoned the vegan diet thinking it may have some how triggered the sludge. I didn’t get a lot of help from medical professionals. in an effort to lose weight I tried keto and I must say the only time I experience the pain now is when I’m “cheating” or adding processed carbs. this video brings it all together. high carb diet, not enough fats, pregnancy, overweight was all a recipe for disaster. I’m glad I didn’t have my gallbladder removed and I’m glad I found this video that confirms I’m actually working in the correct direction now. thank you Doctor.

Similar to gallstone diagnoses, the conventional treatment for biliary hyperkinesia is removal of the gallbladder, with little or no understanding of cause and nonsurgical treatment.

A couple of years ago my wife was diagnosed with gallstones after she experienced terrible abdominal pain with nausea periods lasting sometimes a few minutes and sometimes could go like an hour. Sometimes they happen every day or every few days in a row and sometimes many months without these symptoms. They usually come after she eats but we couldn't identify which foods exactly are causing this because eating the same food or food combinations does not cause these symptoms on consistent bases. Also she constipate very often. Doctor suggested to avoid fatty food and if this doesn't help surgery as an option. She is suffering a lot when she has that pain but trying to avoid surgery as long as she can.

You are delaying the inevitable. I did too and it almost killed me when it ruptured. It can also lead to chronic pancreatitis which nobody wants. Sip your tea but get a second opinion and take care of yourself before you get worse. One day my pain was a 10 out of 10. Usually it would get better- I could just sleep it off. Since removed, I have been mostly fine. Much less risk of serious issue. Sorry you are dealing with this- I know how tough it can be- mentally too but you will get over it. It's pretty common. In the hospital, almost everyone (doctors and nurses) were like, "yeah, I had mine out too and I am fine." That made me feel better. You are not alone.
