My gallbladder was not identifiable as the problem for 3-4 years as I could not eat a real meal, lost weight from 130 to 87 lbs. At 87 lbs, the Dr finally saw some swelling, nothing much. He took mine out the next day, I was starving to death. I began to eat the very next morning and have eaten without pain ever since. I was drinking nutrition drinks, just stay alive. I have had the upset bowels, straightened out now. I may try supplements but I thank God for that surgeon.

Doctors found out my gallbladder is conctracted all the time and I have problems with digesting fats, no pain, all blood tests are ok and they wanted to remove it. No one told me why this thing can occur. Long story short I'm just bile deficient it seems, i begun to take bile salts and I can see results in less then a week! My doctors don't even know bile deficency is a thing... Thank you so much for videos like these! Greeting from Czech Republic :)

Most doctors are not nutritionists or dietitians. Which is ultimately sad because those two things would keep many people from coming to the doctor in the first place. Yet even if you tell people they are being unhealthy they often don't want to listen anyways until they are suffering. Prevention is key.

research the super 7 dirty genes and the dirty genes book. MTHFR and DAO variants are notorious for all the above. Dr Berg has not mentioned histamine resistance ( dirty DAO can cause histamine resistance) yet and how it impacts both digestive AND thyroid health. DAO is a different pathway that also hits digestive function.

Your comment is important. I do love his channel, BUT everyone is different. My gallbladder basically stopped doing its job for a year or so. Remember, if you have A TON of gallstones in your gallbladder, you’re already basically functioning without one. The only difference when you get it taken out is a direct flush of the fat, meaning afterwards you should improve your diet. Choose less fatty options. You don’t have to eliminate fat, just don’t have 50% of your food intake as fat, like keto. The Keto diet, and I say diet not lifestyle, is the WORST possible diet for someone with their gallbladder taken out.

Only just had them out last year and best thing I ever did. Only regret I had was being forced to wait until an adult before doing it. You can't hang onto diseased organs in your body "just because". I had my gall-bladder out years ago. I asked the surgeon why he couldn't just take out the stone and leave the bladder in place. He said something about 'might as well take the entire gall bladder to prevent further stones'... I said as it had taken 40 years or more for that stone to develop, I'd be happy to take my chances on another one in another 40 years, but he insisted on taking out the whole organ anyway.
He was operating at a teaching hospital, and was proud to show off his 'skill' at keyhole surgery to students of surgery, so that was the method he used. I was in hospital only overnight... When I got home the next day, on TV news there was an article which informed me that a new report had shown that keyhole surgery for gall-bladder removal created a risk of dying of heart failure within 18 months which was 17.5 times (i.e. 1,750%) the risk when using the traditional surgical method.
I've had trouble trusting the medical profession ever since... and that mistrust has been greatly magnified since the covid fiasco.

@@Von199X No, it's not like a balloon, which is under pressure. (I reckon you're comparing it to an inflated balloon, right?) So the sac would not explode the way a balloon would, and the hole could easily be stitched up just like any other surgical incision. No need for duct tape.

Thanks for this inormative video! I've been studying gallballders after having my own issues as I'm trying to keep mine. I'm no doctor! Two other possible complications I've noticed people complain about that they had to address after surgery are issues relating to sphincter of the oddi and celiac disease, not to mention life altering diarrhea. I found a message board for victims of gallbladder removal surgery where they post their devasting stories and it's really heartbreaking. I hate how some surgeons just tell people 'you don't really need it' and don't do enough IMO to really prepare people. I even found a woman who said she got pancreatitis in the hospital after surgery and she is now hospitalized a few times a year with it and it never went away. Thank you so much for hopefully helping people to better informed about ALL aspects. Some people have said they were lying in a hospital bed post-surgery STILL having gallbladder attacks. They don't tell you that stones can still form in bile ducts so the problem doesn't always go away!

My liver enzymes were very high. 10 days later they had come down by 90% so the “stone” had passed. I was sent for a CT scan. The surgeon only offered gall bladder removal. I said no and ordered stonebreajer from iHerb. I’m flying it abs feel like I’m winning. I’ll get a CT scan in 12 months again. The doctors don’t want to know that I can save my gallbladder and treat me like I’m crazy. Dear Dr. Berg, I want to know what to do if there is too much bile in the system and specially at night when stomach is empty it comes up in the throat and mouth and wakes me up at 3 in the morning. My mouth is too sour at the time. When I drink some water it feels better. This is going on for long now. Even though I have elevated my head side bed 6" with bed risers, it doesn't help. My teeth are getting effected and my gums are burning. Please help!

They took her gallbladder, the did Whipple surgery, then pancreas and spleen removal. She’s a pin cushion and is overdosing on HUGE amounts of creatine, like 6 pills per small meal! Now, they’re so tired of constant Emergency room visits, etc, etc, they just said she has 2 small spots on her lungs, and not sure which cancer, yet. PLEASE, Dr Berg, ANY help??? PLEASE, PLEASE

About 6 years ago I had been having constant pain across the bottom of my rib cage. One day it became unbearable along with sharp pain in my right shoulder blade. I went to the ER and they diagnosed gallstones. It was a friday and they scheduled me for a follow up with primary care the following Monday. I spent the weekend learning what a gallbladder is. Thats when i found Dr. Berg. I've been learning ever since and implementing healthy eating changes, which has been a challenge. I found out I had non-alcoholic fatty liver from poor eating. Using the gallbladder formula and other supplements and adopting intermittent fasting helped. I'm leaning towards keto now. The pain, often severe, continued periodically over the years, getting much less frequent every year. I havent had any gallbladder related pain now for 10 months. The best part is that the pain alerted me to a problem and i was able to find information to help me implement changes. With a better understanding of my body and health I can make better choices. My primary care recommended removal of gallbladder. I refused. I dont know if that decision is right for anyone else, but it has worked for me.

This was an interesting video. It came up on my feed when I Googled gall bladder surgery. However, I don’t have gallstones. I have a gall bladder polyp. My mother died of gall bladder cancer, so I’m off to a specialist to determine the next move, which will likely mean gall bladder removal before the polyp grows and/or morphs into cancer. Gall stones are pretty common and no doubt plenty of people are interested in this video content. There are other people who may need the surgery for other health reasons. Find out as much as you can about the condition you’ve been diagnosed with. Doctors are opting for gall bladder removal for stones not because they are greedy, but to alleviate your pain and prevent more serious conditions such as pancreatitis and damage to the bile ducts. So the organ IS important but if it is not functioning, you have an issue to address. That might be dietary, but it might be surgical. Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Management of post gall-bladder surgery is something that is perhaps lacking.

Thank you for this advice. I had two gallbladder attacks a few years ago. I drank apple cider vinegar and lemon juice straight up, which relieved the pain within 20 minutes. I mentioned this to the surgeon who later performed my gallbladder surgery. He had never heard of this before. It does work! My brother had similar symptoms with relief after using Apple cider vinegar. Unfortunately it didn’t take care of my problem long term. I wish I had seen your video before surgery. Thank you Dr. Berg for educating us about the gallbladder. I'm a diabetic who was diagnosed with a fatty liver, (I take a liver detox supplement)...I've started to watch how many carbs I intake daily, I check labels now, I was advised to ONLY consume 21 grams of sugar daily...this IS HARD for me🙁🤦🏽‍♀️ & I TRY to STAY AWAY FROM DIARY. I've switched over to Oat milk. Which is VERY good! Dr. Felco, (a gallbladder specialist surgeon), is hell bent on cutting on my body to remove my gallbladder because a few times the gallstones were seriously hurting me. After hearing that he & his team performed HUNDREDS of gallbladder removals with much success, 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️I would be ok & he did tell me that I would have diarrhea FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!🤯🤯For me not to worry about the diarrhea... he would put me on a medication that will help me out with that. Uhhhh, no thanks buddy! 🤨 I asked if there were other ways for me to help get rid of the stones...he told me NO. He went on to say, that there were NO MEDICATIONS OR SURGERIES to take out the gallstones or to dissolve them. If I'm having constant pain, schedule a surgery. 😒 I had a look of disgust & disappointment on my face after Dr. Felco told me that. Not to mention, he was RUDE about how he told me. 🙄 It felt as if he was trying to convince me into having surgery...like I was a 💰 moneybag in his eyes & not a person. Wow!🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯....Some doctors just do not have bedside manners....& he's most definitely one of them.🙄🤨 Even if I agreed to surgery, I WOULDN'T HAVE HIM DO IT!!😒 *I got a VERY BAD vibe from this man* So I decided I wasn't going to get it. I'm glad I seen the notification for this video. I'm going to pull up this video to show my PCP, Dr. Lee and go from there. This video is so freaking awesome and comprehensive. Thank you Dr. Berg. I’m sorry you suffered with things but it’s such a blessing to the rest of us that you have the personal experience that drives your knowledge. I so wish I had known years ago about keto and the dangers of mainstream medicine and the importance of nutrition. We’ve been mislead our whole lives about so many things. Out of all my education I remember learning about hormones in a sexual way and that’s pretty much it. It wasn’t until two years ago that I started digging and learning about all of our hormones which are so vital to us. I lost my gallbladder a long time ago and wish I would have known it wasn’t just useless, which I figured God didn’t just give us something useless, but I believed mainstream medicine at the time. At any rate, I’ve been suffering with some of the deficiency symptoms lately and just severe fatigue after being keto for a couple years and unable to figure out why and what I’m doing wrong. Also, stuck in about a 6-9 month plateau no matter what I do. After watching your videos on the gallbladder, I have a feeling my body isn’t getting the nutrients I’m trying to give it bc I don’t have a gallbladder anymore. Im about to get some bile salts and see if they make a difference for me. I heavily appreciate what you do. I feel like your videos are really to teach us something instead of just promote stuff. Thank you.

Actually most doctors do not recommend the Keto diet. The diet industry does. Basically process food is not good for our body especially inthe amounts American tend to eat them in. But who does not. But the fact that 50% of American are obese is basically nothing but people fault also. No one stops anyone from learning if you really want to learn somethink.. Who stopped you from learning Basics about a proper diet. No one stopped you from seeing a dietitians if you wanted to eat a better diet.. It is really not that hard and was something I learn about when I was 14 years old because I want to do better in my sport. My Mom also wanted to lose some weight.. so we went to the libery and then talked to a dietitian who help us come up with a plan geared toward our likes and lifestyle.. Basically I get sort of tired of people blaming doctor, pharma, society, McDonald's or whatever when someone did not bother to spend any quality time to get educated on a subject from reputable sources. For example looking at some actually book for dietitians or doctors. Back then you could find stuff at your local references section in you local library. Also medicine is always changing and sometime taking a organ is taken out because of complications that could happened if it stays in could be worse then removing the organ. But the bottom line unless you are unconscious no one forced you to have that organ taken out. I know every doctor see something a little bit differently and zi want to make sure zi am making choices that I feel comfortable with and not feel like something I was talked into. But again that is about watching out for yourself and just doing you due diligence. I am responsible for the choice I make, not others.. Again there are so many factors on where that line is on should surgery should be done or not. I am just amazed how many people will have a a doctor d surgery on them and they do not even check I they have any complaint against them in the state boards. I have had gallstones for years and there is really not that much you can do about them. But I was told 10 years ago that they could remove my gallstone and prevent a bunch of problem. Well I knew the gallstone has a purpose and I went to the library and did some research. Upon asking my doctor about the purpose of the surgery and the risk of surgery and long term effect and not having it, I choose to leave it since I was causing me no pain or issues. I still have my gallbladder and gallstone and have no pain or symptoms. Doctor also sort of go by the averages. They do not know exactly how well someone will do with anything until it happened. After my research, I basically eat little process food, my BMI weight and height normal healthy size. I am a disable Veteran so my exercise is sort of limited but again that would no be a excuse to be obese or not take care of the rest of my body the best I can. I find most American just eat trash, take horrible care of there body and then expect doctor to cure them with a pill or magic surgery. Doctor also do not have 3 hours to hold someone hand who does nothing the doctor does anyway.. Half the time I do not even know why people
bother going to the doctor to begin with if they are no going to take there suggestion in improving there health.. No one stops you learning, but your lack of initiative entitlement that it is everyone job to teach you. Learn to stand up for yourself and get those questions asked and answered. When you go to the doctor he is there to help you and not the other way around. If you feel that your doctor does not want you input in your own body or seem insulted by questions you have, then find another doctor.

My dad, 64, almost perfect health, was diagnosed with GB stones which is apparently very common. 2 years later passed away due to GB cancer (into liver). It is apparently rare that GB stones causes cancer but it increases the risk and if someone is diagnosed with this cancer, they more than likely have history of stones. So unless you monitor regularly, in hindsight due to what I witnessed, its advisable to get it removed if you have stones. It could also be affected by your ethnicity. Just a warning of sorts.

Same here. After reading an article on the benefits of using Apple Cider Vinegar & Wheat grass powder when dealing with a problematic GB, I literally walked out of hospital in 2021 when the doctors kept scaring me that I’d die if I didn’t have the GB removed! What was even more scarier was that they kept saying the GB is a useless organ & that I should have it swiftly removed as a matter of urgency! I trusted my gut instinct & asked for the Self-Discharge Form, which the doctors dilly-dallied to give me, and they even got pretty upset with me to the point of bullying me to change my mind & proceed with the GB removal surgery! I removed my cannula, packed my duffel bag, handed my completed Self-Discharge Form to an irate-looking staff member at the Nurses’ Station before darting out of the place 🏃‍♂️🏃🏼🏃‍♂️🏃🏼 to catch a taxi outside the hospital. I’m so immensely proud that I saved my life from a myriad of health problems (had I allowed my GB to be removed!). I still take my daily Apple Cider Vinegar & Wheat Grass powder to date (May 2024) & I’ve never experienced any more GB issues ever since! 👍🏻

So that they can get their loans paid and become rich at cost of general public health - They will make you fall for their vicious cycle. OH HELLO
Hello Can you do research on Gallbladder issues to find out a solution without removing it. So that these doctors "bread and butter surgery" of Gallbladder come to an END.

This is a great video and helps me connect the dots a little more to my health issues I experienced about 10 years ago, which led me to having my gallbladder removed. The only thing I disagree with is eating the Keto diet. It doesn’t work for everyone. I feel amazing on a low fat vegan diet. I have a really hard time digesting higher fatty things. I feel sluggish and my digestion suffers. I feel awful on a keto diet.

I had my gall bladder removed long ago and would get large stones stuck in my bile tube, to help pass these stones I stack 3 pillows up on my bed and lay face down with the pillows at the base of my rib cage and a gentle roll from side to side for 30 minutes to an hour to push stones out of bile duct tube. This gives me an instant relief of pressure that has built up .

Dr. Berg, like many I had my gall bladder removed 21 years ago along with gallstones size of a golf ball that were finally removed with third surgery. 10 years ago I had another gallstone removed that caused me to turn yellow plus very ill. Your explanation makes a huge difference understanding the whole problem. Other than starting the keto diet and other things you suggested is ok to take organic yogurt since is soothing after I eat. I have developed a severe skin rash 7 months ago which I had a hard time getting rid off even with strong meds. In addition I come from a Chiropractic family my ex, my daughter, Son in law, nephews, uncles to name a few. I am not one but Chiropractic comes first to prevent symptoms. Thank god for you sir. They want to cut it out. I resisted, fired my doctor. Started searching today for other solutions myself after talking to other doctors who wanted to do the same and my father last weekend. I'll keep you posted. I'm 6 hours into your vids while cross referencing. I was already pretty much keto by nature with the exception of my penchant for broccoli sprouts and mushroom cultivation (Maitake, Lionsmane and Oyster). Don't eat sugar. Not into carbs. Love fermented stuff (including beer, which is likely the source of my problem despite being skinny as a rail 140lbs, 5'10", 50 years on this rock). We shall see how the salts and lemon wheat grass and turmeric lattes go, I wanna reduce the swelling in the gall bladder and neck before I start a long fast. Already eat every other day, and it was suggested that skipping meals was the issue with my gallbladder by my doctor (fired already). I suspect I got into this situation from skipping meals and substituting Guinness for meals. Thanks to you I have a meal plan, what to shop for and not (which already mostly resembles my shopping list). Divorce, depression, high stress job, plandemic, isolation... all work and no play makes Jack a sick boy.

Barely watching this video. Thank you very much for sharing about the after surgery as well. I got my gallbladder removed in 2012 as an emergency procedure. Since then, no more pain but watching your video is an eye opening. My vision is bad, I'm always feeling tense and need massages on my shoulder pads especially the right side. I get cramps literature in my right abs! I'm a very calm person, I try no to stress and these problems persist in me. Now I'm 50 and I wanted t9 assume it was because of my age, I don't think so. Plus I've gained lots of weight. What do you recommend me? I didn't know I need a bile supplement, the doctor never told me that. I will check what you mentioned in the video. Thanks again and God bless you and protect you for many many year to come.
