I love how dirt jumps/ trail videos are completely timeless! You could watch this 10 years from now and it will still look so sick! No huge spin to win trick just simple flow and style for days!
all my buds got back into biking a couple of days ago now we are building at our local spot and we made a new set that is literally the best i have ever ridden
you want to know what's really sad when dirt jumps like those sink back into the ground because the kids that used to ride them grew up and left the sport behind
Dam that really got to me. I live here in San Diego/chula vista, a father of three and work in law enforcement, I'm 33 years old and I want to bring my old childhood places back to life. Trying to find the right people to do so.
Me and my bros built a sweet 6 pack when we were like 16 and now there is nothing. Little bit of the roll in but you probably couldnt tell there was anything their anymore. Every time i drive by it brings back some memories lol now me and my buddy started riding again at 35 lol
djr3000- speak for yourself, I'm from the UK and the ridin scene is SHWEET! You just gotta look harder for more tucked away spots then no one will find them! (its simple really) you wana ride, you find a way!
Yeah, there's 1 or 2 good spots here, but when ever new stuff is added people (Non riders) always bitch about it. No one ever puts much time into them though, because someone else will just come along and wreck it.
Where i live you have to build them in places where others wont find them. We have one hidden in a forest by a motorway that only those who help build it know where it is and get to ride it
Nice place. Weaves through the trees nice and good to see no big tricks done, just smooth simple riding, made it a relaxed edit. And no red bull can being drunk! First rb vid I've not seen that.
Since I was 12 I would make jumps. Its an art and I miss it alot. Always respect the builder because it takes alot of hard work and dedication to make these jumps
There are some local jumps that i have been maintaining and riding, i didn't build them but I work on them a lot. The owner of the land saw what we were doing so he gave us a bunch of wood and the opportunity to use his tractor to build whatever we want this weekend. I'm pumped to see what we get built 🤙
trails bmx, should be respected for sure, all the hard work we go through building the trails is ridiculous, but there r always people who come and destroy them eventually, like my trails people dont respect it and I put my hard work into building them and they keep getting tore down
Pride and integrity? Have you met the new generation who show up at the trails with shovels and just start digging like they own the place? At least where I ride.
RESPECT guys those trails are awesome n for people on here sayin they don't have the right to tell people what to do no one would even be there or look twice if not for their hard work so fair enough to ask people not to climb over n leave trash when these dudes have been digging for years in many cases.
i used to build jumps with my mates everyweek in some woods but horse riders and dog walkers kept trampling them so we gave up and went to some pre build jumps but it wasnt the same i enjoyed building them and then riding them :/
+driverjackboy build your own trails!! or use game trails, or paths that are very very rarely used- and absolutely respect other peoples work. its not fair that we dig big jumps and dips and gaps into paths people have walked for a long time
thats what i said i gave up nuilding my own because people ruined our jumps or messed them up so we went to some we knew about and the bike parks chicksands etc i used to be dedicated to making jumps brought spades and boxes and even got a wheelbarrow from somewhere we found and they wasnt big jumps and wasnt very safe we used stuff that people fly tipped in a carpark near by it was good but it became a lost cause due to location and everybody ruining them the forest people didnt even mind because we cleaned our rubbish up and we re used old stuff to make jumps i dont just dont have the enthusiasm that i had back then it was back in 2007 and it was when we didnt care what bike we rode i had a cheap old bike then upgraded to diamondback beta dirt times change though im more into street now cant ride dirt nomore
I wish i had a place to be able to do this and the money to do it.. big dirt jumps are one of my favorite things to see in bmx and id love to ride some someday
great guys obviously love to ride and aren't afraid of a little hard work. It truly does show that what you put in you get out of i, you should always treat other peoples hard work with respect. I like to ride and its nice to go to a quite spot with just your mates and riding. True guys :)
Man the days i went there yesterday to see what bit looked like and there’s just tarp and there’s a bunch of wood and leaves everywhere Man i miss those day
this is awesome it reminds me of back in the day about 4 years ago right down the street from where i used to live were these nice dirt trails this guy about 30 years of age once told me he helped build those jumps back in his day 20 years or so ago ancient spot a lot of memories still stuck back there i rode them for all 4 years that i lived there me and couple of my buddies and my buddies friends and brothers put a lot of time into those trails year later they told me they were going to get torn down by the township so they could build a tower we were devastated it was a load of crap they didn't care about the kids around the township hardly any skate parks or really anything for us to keep the kids out of trouble its a shame really but i am lucky to have those good times and memories i will never forget my kid days #keeponkeepinon
+Matt Irvin Same, Me and my friends help build two dirt jumping areas.. and they just got tore down a couple months ago from the town. Its like losing a family member, had so many memories at those jumps. #sandiegosucks
The dirt jumps in my town are next to a playground and have very few people who maintain them. It isn't uncommon to show up the next day for a ride to find our tarps taken down and made into forts on the playground , toys and sticks all over the jumps as well as destroyed dirt from kids climbing on them
Yea I have build a freeride track with more big gaps but we hid out tools and came back and someone had taken them and I found that really sad cause now we don't really won't to build there anymore so I totally understand where your coming from
Totally agree with this video i have good trails in my area that have been there for years and i love them but i help and make sure i dont wreck anything and i have also built trails there that have been wrecked completely and i am so angry about that and its the worst feeling when you build something that you spend days building and are so overjoyed when your done... But then some dickheads think that they can just completely wreck your creation and think that it doesnt matter... Well it does and it fucking sucks so i hope everyone who has ever wrecked someones jumps sees this and realises how much work is put into them. Rant over!
i wish i could have good dirt jumps where i live. i dont know any people who have access to trails and the kids i know only want to build mtb style gap jumps. they say that dirt jumps would be too hard
I love how dirt jumps/ trail videos are completely timeless! You could watch this 10 years from now and it will still look so sick! No huge spin to win trick just simple flow and style for days!
jonny crash i know man, I know
Exactly!!!
perfect take right here
Been about ten 😂
these kind of videos inspire me so much i mean its midnight rn and all i want to do is go to my local trails and just dig and build something cool
Same
Its the same out here
all my buds got back into biking a couple of days ago now we are building at our local spot and we made a new set that is literally the best i have ever ridden
hell yeah same
I'm 4yrs late to the reply section. My buds n I have dug at midnight before by lantern and camp fire light. Truly amazing digging at night.
you want to know what's really sad
when dirt jumps like those sink back into the ground because the kids that used to ride them grew up and left the sport behind
Got the chills reading that. A few spots in my area that were legendary but nothing left but overgrown remains of something that was once amazing
James Rice Ik, got chills as well damn
ik aye, its actual sad tho
Dam that really got to me. I live here in San Diego/chula vista, a father of three and work in law enforcement, I'm 33 years old and I want to bring my old childhood places back to life. Trying to find the right people to do so.

Every set of jumps we ever built in UK got knocked down by council. So we all just basically given it up now. Shame cos everything about it was ace
ours always get ruined by dicks on mini bikes, Never seen a mini bike rider with a shovel in thier hands
djr3000- speak for yourself, I'm from the UK and the ridin scene is SHWEET! You just gotta look harder for more tucked away spots then no one will find them! (its simple really) you wana ride, you find a way!

djr3000 we have the same problem our spots weren’t amazing but we put time and effort into them and they got ruined by pricks
Where i live you have to build them in places where others wont find them. We have one hidden in a forest by a motorway that only those who help build it know where it is and get to ride it
thanks to covid 19 we started digging again every cloud
insta share.. I AM A DIRT RIDER/BUILDER .. have respect for one's hard work, is the name of the game. love this video.
Nice place. Weaves through the trees nice and good to see no big tricks done, just smooth simple riding, made it a relaxed edit. And no red bull can being drunk! First rb vid I've not seen that.

Keep shredding my friends!
Since I was 12 I would make jumps. Its an art and I miss it alot. Always respect the builder because it takes alot of hard work and dedication to make these jumps

Those jumps are beautiful
I just want to go see these jumps, I'd feel honoured if these guys let me help them do anything that actually ended up on their trails.
