And I thought Greg barling was good..... These jumps look like something out of a video game, and the graphics haven’t loaded in yet so they are super smooth. Wow this is amazing. Keep up the INCREDIBLE work
Yeah, I got some jumps 5km from my house that I built with some friends, the jumps are a bit cracked up so I'm going to smoothen them today, going to make them run much smoother.
These trails are local to me and are arguably some of the best trails in the UK. Every time I ride here there's brand new lines. I see the lads working away in the darkness sometimes.. true dedication and utter respect for these trail dogs 👊🙌
Such a great video with amazing jumps 😍 im a trail builder for jay hoots and will be making videos about our season aswell and I think you're videos are amazing !
Thanks man!- sometimes filming is a bit of a chore as there are days I just want to ride but looking back I'm so glad I documented what we did. Keep with the filming buddy, you won't regret it.
When I got a house with enough space I'll make some dirt jumps and mountain bike trails, probably won't be as big as these ones but will surely be a blast like these ones.
Cheers dude- well appreciated. I've not been on UA-cam for that long but I love to film so I'm hoping the content will only get better and more people will find me!
Tyler Young thanks dude much appreciated- another one coming today which i hope you’ll enjoy. Our trails are in England, UK. Have fun building buddy- I’d be interested to see what you create.
@@justkeepdigging1956 I've got some building in riding videos if you're interested in want to subscribe that would be great the bulk of them are coming over the next few weeks hopefully.
the jump, the music, the montage, the edit, wow, all is on point! best video i have seen so far! can i ask you how you create that jump? there is a formula, a project, or is all made attemp by attemp?
hi guys. it looks great and hat off to you for pulling in the hours. Could you please tell me how big of a surface you had on hand? For the dirt track I mean. Thanks, and keep the videos coming.
Thanks dude. I don’t actually know the overall area. I’m putting up a video later that will give you a better idea. It’s 100m from the top of the roll in to the end berm, that’s about all i know I’m afraid!
U kno, I love this video, because It shows me that some people in the world have actually packable dirt, unlike me. I've tried so much, over and over, but I just don't have the type of dirt for it, my dirt is black plain, it just sticks to the back of the shovel over and over, and is terrible. People say that the type of dirt u work with doesn't even matter, but I've found that to be false. Help anyone? Dirt specifics?
Technique will vary according to what kind of dirt you are using. Make sure the dirt is damp but not too wet and keep slapping with your shovel until you can't take anymore! We also find our jumps harden a lot quicker if they are in the section that is open to the sun- in the shaded areas it can take way longer. Hope that helps.
I've been filming for quite a while now and the biggest tip I would give is to figure out the story before you start to tell it. Then make sure you have shots to tell every part of it. It's so annoying when you forget to shoot something and don't realise until it's too late! Making a plan of some sort helps avoid that. Hope that helps buddy.
Hello mate yes it's normal carpet- we find that good quality carpets work a lot better as they tend to be a bit thicker and heavier. When you first use the carpet it feels pretty rough but once it settles in it feels fine. I've had quite a few messages and questions about trailbuilding... I'm putting them together and plan to make a video to answer common issues... keep your eyes peeled!
Top draw, really captures the feel of a Sunday.
Cheers dude- hope they will return before long! I'm missing everyone, even Tom.
Abdriften Music suicide Sunday
How does this guy only have 560 subscribers! You deserve way more
Thanks dude- I've got loads of stuff still to come so hopefully more people will find the channel and enjoy the videos.
That’s exactly what I thought

I would genuinely cry if I even cased one of these jumps!
Perfect! If you cased them at this time of the year the tears would help wet the dirt so we could repair the damage! Haha! :)
NR8 Trail vids 😂 haha
This ain’t trail building this is art
With these jumps, “smooth” is an understatement
Yeah, I got some jumps 5km from my house that I built with some friends, the jumps are a bit cracked up so I'm going to smoothen them today, going to make them run much smoother.

Super cool
That's what I call dialed in like cha homies
Need to build some latter's to stack and pack and slap that awesome clay
that is mostly sand and small amount of clay. No rocks and the carpet on every lip and landing if not it just blows out.
What kinds of shovels are those? They look like the perfect lip sculpting shovel.
the dog just scrubbed the jump
I wish we had any type of bike thing here
You should try to make your thumbnail and title "align" with the YT algorithm. Your videos deserves more views good luck
I have been recently working on jumps and it takes forever to harden. Do you have any tips on watering and packing to prevent this?
Technique will vary according to what kind of dirt you are using. Make sure the dirt is damp but not too wet and keep slapping with your shovel until you can't take anymore! We also find our jumps harden a lot quicker if they are in the section that is open to the sun- in the shaded areas it can take way longer. Hope that helps.
