Ok this gave me some confidence to fix this matter mess I create. Why did I think leaving my deep conditioner in my head over a day was smart, is beyond me. Now my hair is more matted that when I started. Relaxer is next
I’m going through postpartum depression and my hair got matted after my last wash and I’ve been trying to comb the matted parts out with detangler and my unbrush and I’m ready to just put a relaxer in and see what happens because I’m over my hair. I normally would just cut it all off but I’ve done that twice already 😂😂 don’t wanna cut my hair again.
@@jashay91 I totally understand you! Sorry to hear what you’re going through, it’s definitely tough. Have you tried picking at the knots slowly with a rat tail comb before relaxing?
@ I don’t have a rat tail comb I watched another video where a hair stylist said to drench the hair and use your hands to separate knots first to not comb because it breaks off hair and takes longer so I will try this method later on today. Hopefully it works out. Thank you so much for your video and response it’s giving me motivation because I was really on the verge of giving up.
You did a good job, I see some people their hair can not handle the relaxers. after relaxer the hair t thin , really sad hair. I think they should go natural or relaxed for short time. But you have good hair 👍🏽
They may be able to use a MILD strength relaxer. Put On fast, finger smoothed, then rinsed off in 10 minutes. 🎉Apple cider vinegar mixed with neutralizer shampoo will instantly 🛑 neutralize the relaxer!!! 🎉
I'm 29 and my mom still does my hair because I have the same texture as yours, the idea of doing my own hair gives me so much anxiety but I think I should try coz I'm old now🌝
🦋Ponytail for 6 months 🦋Weekly Wash /deep condition/ Moisturise 🦋Every 4-6 months Base scalp & previously Relaxed hair then TEXrelax 10 mins only!!! Neutralise with vinegar in the shampoo😊
This relaxer application made me cringe soo much...u have such beautiful an thick hair. But please next relaxer vedio please detangle ur sections before application. The results wasn't bad but there's always room for improvement. Another tip : u can pre-section the entire hair in small twist and then apply to each section. U will have more control during the process.
@@milayobeauty oh my...thick hair NEEDS patients so u can comb it out in sections of 6 (straight down the middle then each section in 3) comb and braid to keep soft. Even if u need 2 days to do it. But Always prep ur hair 1-2 days before relaxer day. And be sure to have enough relaxer. Thank me later

You're very welcome!🥰
I followed every detail and did it myself.. yyeeeeyyyyyyyyy. Thank you

Aww thank you so much!🥰
My hair looks EXACTLY LIKE YOURS RIGHT NOW 😅 matted and all. A bit more matted that it makes no sense but this video helped me.
Aww I’m glad to hear that! Thanks ❤
Beautiful and thank you for the video😘
Aww thank you💖
Aww thanks! Nothing special, low manipulation is what works for me. I leave my hair alone a lot. 🤭

You’re right. It’s important to know the strength of your hair before you apply any chemical procedure. Thanks for watching ✨❤️

Does that relaxer burn? I am going to do my first relaxer retouch myself this Sunday
No it doesn’t burn my scalp. I mostly choose ‘regular’ strength and I don’t leave the relaxer in for long. Hope this helps.✨
Thanks for showing us how to maintain our hair 🙄😍
You're welcome☺
How long did you stretch?
About 10 months!
Your so beautiful 🥺
Aww thank you so much!🥰
Good job. I keep 2 bantu knots..almost no manipulatesion.
Thanks! I wish I had the patience to put them in myself!😄
I love your hair and it's just like mine 😍😍😍

I feel you! It’s definitely better when someone else does it for you cos speed is very important to avoid breakage. But I’m rooting for you still😊
I started doing my own thus year. It's not too bad at all. Just time yourself accurately!
Wow you've got a pretty long hair what's the secret

The relaxer is only put on the regrowth .Hair that already been straightened should be avoided as much as possible !!
