i’m not trying to convince you cuz it’s a chemical process and done repeatedly it would definitely lead to damage. but personally i do not have the time to spend 2-3 hours per week styling and detangeling my hair. my natural hair is very knotty and it takes some time to wash, moisturize, braid and style that it’s easier to just relax it once every 2-3 months.
Just like to say I like that you are applying the relaxer with your fingers/hands. Like you , I can move faster and you have more control. The fingers also do not pull at your hair also it’s more easy to smooth out. I think this technique is better to use if you are relaxer your hair yourself.👍 Also once smooth out I will use a comb as the hair is now straight. The key to maintenance relax hair is condition , condition condition. Nothing to heavy as the hair will not move. Moisture products are better for the hair if you want movement. Too much oil is heavy and just sits on your hair.

I promised myself that I won't try doing it again by myself but this video has given me some ginger😄...if you can do it then I can too💪

Hmmmmm.. First time hearing this, I lld do research. But yes I did, I relaxed it twice during my pregnancy. Be sure to consult your Doc.
