Red and Goody lie in wait for T & L outside a diner, fire off some welcoming rounds and give chase. Lightfoot looses Goody's tough old Merc in the hills, but trashes the Riv's tranny. Later, on foot, they manage to hitch a ride from a insane redneck who likes huffing Mopar exhaust fumes. They survive the wild ride and a rollover to find the rednecks glass jaw and his boot full of hares. Lightfoot finds a going away gift from a raccoon. - Авто та транспорт
One of the best movies of the 70's!!!!!!!
Oh hell yes! The 70s had some of the best films ever!
one of the great classic movies of the seventies. the "method" actor driving that Fury is none other than Bill McKinney, the same fella who porked Ned Beatty (another great actor) in the movie Deliverance
And drove the locomotive in *Back to the Future Part III!* 🚂
"Is this a hold-up?"
Love the sound of that engine.
"He's not your run of the mill basket case is he?"
"This guy is definitely out to lunch!"
Funny you see the wheel fly through the air(loose from the car) and yet they drive it away. Spare axle in the trunk with the rabbits maybe? LOVED this movie!
ha ye just noticed that mate, movie mistake
Listen to that sound baby…..ha ha ha ha ha I love that engine that engines the biggest engine Ive ever seen in my life…🤣
I’ve been driving all over this country man ,
Car driver with the rabbits was a HEADCASE
clint and jeff what a wonderfull couple!!!, said from a fan from denmark
Hey, haven't seen this since about 1974. That scene with the maniac in the Plymoth is brilliant; he makes about as much sense as Robert Mugabe and Col Gadaffi combined!
One of my all time favourites. Thanks for posting.
This is the movie Michael Cimino made before the Deer Hunter
i love these old movies grew up with them what ever happend to good acting movies
It's part of the Dee Barton penned soundtrack but no official sountrack was ever released.
"a glass head like all these nuts". classic. a great movie, with all great characters. old school actors.
Yeah, nothing like 3 tons of steel haulin' ass and rollin' over with rabbits. *lol*
I've always liked Kennedy, too. He has played some great tough bad-ass characters over the years.
Funny you had mentioned Bridges in 'KIng Kong' (1976) he was underrated as hell in that.
I liked Goody.
Man, I sure wish I had that sweet '51 Merc coupe! I remember when the movie was new and I cringed when I saw how the car was treated!
seen it at the drive inn sure wish we still had those still
Classic. Great great movie.
A great economic analysis by Dub Taylor as a gas station attendant: "n this business, you're always one step away from bankruptcy. Funny money, credit, speculation... Somewhere in this country's a little ol' lady with $79.25. The five cents is a buffalo nickel... If she cashes in her investment, whole thing'll collapse. General Motors, the Pentagon, the two-party system and the whole shebang... We're all running downhill. Gotta' keep running faster or we'll fall down."
Life is all memory
Wow! I own this film and have seen it a million times! Just saw it 2 days ago. Never noticed the dummy until' you pointed it out. That's crazy! So obvious now that you mention it. And that shot on the road you are talking about, w/ the big Montana sky; love it! I know this reply is three years after the fact, but I had to comment.
my favorite of all time...
Listen to that sound!listen to that sound!!!!!
i don't want to bore you with a third comment..... i test drove a 1982 white trans am, with a 305. that was the fastest car i've ever driven.
Classic clip of a classic MOPAR !!!
God, I wish they made cars like that agian !
Hes right about the wheel. If the trunk was full of rabbits, where did the wheel come from?? One of Eastwoods finest.
One of my favorite buddy movies of the 70's along with Scarecrow and Midnight Cowboy!
Damn! You need to get out and drive a few performance cars!! The '82 Trans Am with the 190 HP 305 was an embarassing display of power to say the least!
oscar winner George Kennedy was in this. BTW I like what he says to an 8 year old boy.
Buick Rivera boattail 7 litre engine I believe
remember not to pick your teeth !
put the whole movie up!
How'd they drive away in a car with only three wheels?
whats wrong with this heap? lmao great great movie
I think they were askin for too much from that Merc..
It's in the beginning before he meets up with Clint.
what's that scene where jeff steals a white trans am? a trans am was the shit, back then. HP. high performance.
Love this film could you pleaseeeeeee up load full movie for me thanks keep safe
I always liked Kennedy........great actor. What year was this movie?
1974
The is an awesome Plymouth Fury--->> 4:20
that car is fucking gorgeous
Great american film making.Clint and jeff the good old days.Love that 1973 fury!
Watched this Movie as a child and since then. Adore this Film to present day @ age 54.
Bill McKinney as the CRAZY GUY as usual ..
1974
That is what is great about movies like this, they don't make it obvious, we have to think about it. I would say that white rabbits would be food rabbits, or maybe for medical experiments. Why is the driver so crazy?
Ok...what's that dudes problem? why did he had a buncha rabbits in his trunk and why would he try to shoot em? And then try to hit thunderbolt with his shotgun?
What kind of rifle is George Kennedy using there?
marc dewey: .30 Cal. M-1Carbine with a fake suppressor/silencer that apparently has no effect and doesn't work.......
@@thomasschoon8407 Hilarious 😂
A m2 30cAl carbine the full auto version of the mi carbine I think
Lol
Don't make movies like that anymore, no blue screen special effects ext.
my man i agree i really payed more attention in the 70s ,a lot of those director came over from italy were they knew how to make movie s
with a more eroupeian style flair
Horrible what happened to Jeff Bridge's Character in this Classic 1974 Caper 😢Also Starring Clint Eastwood,George Kennedy as Red Leary and Geoffrey lewis as Goody,Goody by Name Goody by Nature.
Yeah, Lewis. Always in the B list, but we all know this guy.

That ain’t it ,
Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of the '05 remake, either. But yeah, Bridges, Lange and Charles Grodin were great. IDK why ppl didn't like it. I was very young, but I remember my parents taking us kids to go see that in '76.
Why not do it again,do what again,?montana armoured ,we hit it again, they’ll never expect it to happen a third time ,I wonder if Mirf is still on duty ,he’ll be easy to handle ,and I want every dollar from that vault ,and forget about the drive in movie ,red headed woman are bad luck ,we go up the hyway turn up rustic we devide the money in the headlights of the car ,now goodie you and red take your share and the car and go and good luck to you .me and lightfoot are headed to the snake river.the Idaho dream is our getaway buggie
