Installed a new predator 212 with a new 30 series torque converter kit, new chain, new throttle cable.

I pulled the bench seat and the seat adjuster out. Gave me like another 5 inches. I'm 6'2" and I fit perfect in it with the bench and seat mounts removed. Welded in a couple cross bars of angle iron to mount the bucket seat. Its a single seater but you can fit 2 jegs bucket seats in it.

I put one on my son's Yerf Dog 2303 when they were only $89.00. Easy to line up the sprocket by just moving the gear on the axle a bit. Put a Stage 1 and and header and removed the Governor. That thing ran strong and fast with tons of torque. Even put after market front shocks on it. It would climb huge really steep grassy hills from a standing start, but it was totally horrible off road. HUGE turning radius, no ground clearance at all, and the suspension is only good for rolling hill. Any significant bump and it would jar your bones soooooo bad!

I've got a big carter bros cart and I plan on doing the same setup, I hope it works as we are the family where nothing EVER works lol

Hey man loved the vid, I know it's been a while since you posted it but I was wondering if the stock torque converter on the Tecumseh would bolt up to the 212 predator? And I was wondering what size of wheel and tire we're on the front? If you could get back to me that would be a huge help.
It does but you'll have to find the right size belt
Hey do you have more details/pics/parts you used to connect the throttle ? I’m basically getting a variation of the 212 for our 3203 and this video let’s me know it will certainly fit
My kids go cart has a 110 in it. In drive it boogs down and has little to no power. All though in reverse it does find. Any idea?
What size spacer did you use on the engine shaft for the for the driver clutch? I have this same go kart with the 212cc and the belt is not lined up using the 1/4” spacer. Looks like it may need a 1/2” spacer? Also what bolt size did you use to connect the driver clutch to the shaft? I know it’s a fine thread....5/16”? What length? Thank you!
Use washers as many as you need until the desired space is achieved.
Hey buddy. What is your top speed with that sprocket and torque converter??
I have the same thing but with a little bit of mods and it hit about 45 to 50 with mods

I got a dingo with the 212 predator in it and replaced it with the tillotson 212 hemi with all the upgrades. Such a better option than the predator

What kind of spacer did you put behind the torque converter to line the belt up?
Is a torque convertor the same as a centrifugal clutch?

Have you ever had to replace the jackshaft bearings. Mine just went out and I can't remove the sprocket or the drive portion of the torque converter.

What is squeaking the bearing for the torque converter? Or the front wheels and steering? I'd love to find just a decent frame for sale
The squeaking was the brakes they were old and the cart hadn't been ran in a while but still had plenty of brake pad left.

Doesn't matter too much just any 30 series torque a verter (tav) and make sure you get the bolts to mount it u need fine thread 5/16 most kits might not come with right ones hope I helped😸
At least the bolts on my engine where fine thread but maybe not all of em
