Hey, do you have a list of the parts you used for this? Specifically interested in the parts for the sprocket and axle hub adapter? What is the tooth count on the engine sprocket and the axle sprocket (looks like 60 on the axle)?
I used the stock axle and cut out a metal disc and machined the hole in the disc to the same diameter as the axel, then slid the disk on the axel and welded the disc onto the axel. Once the disc was welded on the axel I drilled holes in the disc and mounted the sprocket to the disc. I’m sure in the video I probably showed the axel, just look at that for reference.
I just took the steering gear, marked out additional slots, then cut the slots with a grinder. There is a video out there showing how to do it, cause that’s the video I watched originally. It is really easy to do
Hey sir, where did you buy all of the nuts and bolts for your kart? I am wanting to replace all of mine as well. If you provide me the size of the bolts that would be a great help! Thanks
I just went to the hardware store local to me and bought bolts, washers and nuts that were the same size as the old ones! If you have a Home Depot, Lowe’s or even a smaller local Hardware Store, it’s all standard American Sizes!
I machined a metal disc and then machined a hole in it (like a CD disc) I slid it over the axle and welded it straight and square to the axle. I then drilled holes in the disc that lined up with the new sprocket and bolted it together

Hey im back. Need to know what sprocket you got and the part you used to mount it onto the axle. Thanks

@ Thank you very much!
what size sprocket? thank you.
Try using a little acetone and a q tip to remove the paint on your steering wheel.b
can you comment on how you notched the steering gear, please

Did you get new tie rods ? If so where did you get them from ?
The inner tie rods I reused and just repainted. The tie rod ends I found something on Amazon and just used those.
@ thank you
