Yeah that Judgement and Punishment one take is crazy sick!!!! Never heard anything like that before! She's simply a goddess when it comes to a metal vocalist! She's better than most guys I mean insane! I love Lena to. 2 of my favorite vocalists

Jinjer-perennial live @ Wacken
Her lyrics are worth exploring...she's an amazing writer. And she actually brings composition to metal...which is not normally the case. Their songs aren't just a blast of noise, they are layered and nuanced, which is a positive change for the genre.

Perennial live at Wacken is a MUST. You want growl along with the absolute most angelically haunting sound combined with insane breath support...this is the track. Keep rockin' darlin'.

"I speak astronomy" shows more of her clean voice with some growls. "Home back" has the sweetest & strong cleans and the deepest ever growls ,and stunning visuals ,and deep meaning- a masterpiece.
Nice reaction Anastasia, yeah Jinjer is a phenomenal band, not just Tatiana, she of course gets the most attention because of her incredible vocals, but the fellas, Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar), and Vlad (drums) are equally phenomenal. Since you wanted to hear more of Tati's "clean" singing voice, I'm gonna suggest reacting to Perennial live at Wacken open Air 2019, or I Speak Astronomy (OMV), both of them are fantastic, and I'm sure you will love them. Great reaction. Jinjer is one of my personal favorites. If you want to discover another great eastern European band i would recomend Infected Rain. And just to have some alternatives here are some songs in no particular order.

Yes. Love her. Love the band too, so tight. My favourites I have found from react videos are Jinjer, Spiritbox, Nightwish and Aryeon. Old favourites are mostly bands I have been listening to for years like Opeth, Rancid and Radiohead.

I’m very glad I ran across your reaction and hear that you are from Russia. 6 months ago a little came across a reaction video of a young girl performing “Wicked Game” cover on a Russian show called You are Super. She is 15 years old on this video. I think you and your viewers if you haven’t heard hear will blow your mind. She is the worlds most unique never heard before contralto.((Like Cher but way better)). I’ve listened to almost every video she has on her UA-cam channel and none have disappointed me but mesmerized me. Thank you so much I loved this reaction🙏🏼🌹💕
At age 3, she was the first of 12 children to live from childbirth. Her mother was a severe alcoholic and was not married. She abused and neglected Diana and after a failed drowning attempt which she suffered a broken collar bone threw her out in the street like an unwanted kitten. Relatives came by and saw her outside crying and because the way her eyes looked and she could not talk they thought her to be mentally retarted and took her to an orphanage where her adopted mother worked. A year or so later when a friend was visiting they heard Diana singing to cartoons and it was then she suggested that she be given singing lessons to help her learn to speak. The rest is history with her winning 40-50 national and international competitions before auditioning for the first show The Voice Children’s addition which she sang “Yodel Time”, great performance but dissatisfied with what the judges did not do. Being you have the back ground that you have you will definitely want to see her greatest performance at age 14 when she performed Rechenka on this show, it is in Russian so you will want to get the lyrics to better understand the message of the song, about 16 million views. Thanks , her name is Diana Ankudinova almost forgot.

Hello Anastasia. Been subbed but rarely comment, but just wanted to say that I am really enjoying your honest, "no BS" reactions and your music. \m/ \m/ Speaking of which... that is a tough choice to vote between "Spring" and "Moonlight" for a video, but I'm going to go with No. 2, "Moonlight."
I think you will enjoy Jinjer's discography if you go down that rabbit hole. I got hooked by the band's music several years ago when I got to listen to their 'Cloud Factory' album. Everyone in the group are very talented musicians. "Vladi" gets so much out of his kit on the drums and what is there to say about Eugene and those grooves he throws down on the bass. Roman's guitar voicing and tone is so tasteful to the music, and of course, there is Tatiana laying down those vocals. 'Tati' has a video out on how she learned to growl and scream that is pretty cool, and if you want to hear more of her "clean singing" vocal ability, I'd recommend "I Speak Astronomy" which is from the same album as "Pisces," 'King of Everything'.
To the comments below about who the best female growler is live, all those ladies are very talented and it takes a lot of time and practice to be able to pull it out in the studio let alone live. Can we give it up for Angela Gossow, though, who has been throwing down brutal vocals since the early-90's who helped paved the way for all those ladies?

You asked which song next? It is an easy one. Usually Perennial live at Wacken, Who is gonna be the one, Pit of consciousness live at Kiev and many others are all good choices. But you are a signer and you analyze vocal technique much more than looking at the musicians of the band. So, for signer / vocal coach, the next song is surely Judgement and Punishment One Take vocal performance Tatiana Shmaylyuk.
The reason is simple, you cannot find any Jinjer video who will get a better view at what she is doing. She is alone, with a mike and capture with a fixed camera, like studio recording. And just to show more, she wear a bikini top. You will have probably all your answers, and if you like you will have plenty videos to watch this band after.

my vote is to do both of your music videos, we want to get to know your vocals. Thank you for reviewing Jinjer, and I was sure you would appreciate Tatiana's growl. Everyone will suggest their favorite Jinjer song I am sure, but I would suggest "Teacher Teacher" as Tat switches between growls, cleans, and does her version of rap, you will see versatility though Perennial is live, with some pre-recorded vocals added in, like this live session.

Hi Anastasia, My pick of the your songs is the first one "I broke your spell." Both are neat but that's my choice. As to Jinjer, the singer is Tatiana and she, like the entire band, is top notch. As to what Jinjer song to react to next, I suggest one called "Retrospection," the official video. And guess what - the first verse of Retrospection is sung in Russian! Best of luck to you. You're gorgeous and have a beautiful singing voice.

One of the many amazing things about Tatiana is that she is completely self taught. There are some good interviews with her where she talks about what inspired her to do this and the process she used to learn it. Since she doesn't have actual training she really can't describe the technique she uses in technical terms.

You are the first reactor to mention the tungsten (CTO even?) lighting, which I also love. I feel like the combination of lighting + HMU (Hair and MakeUp) give her an ancient Egyptian feel which goes great with the Arabic sound later on.

For a quick batch of songs to check out. "Teacher Teacher" Shows off her versatility with several styles on display. "Perennial" Live @ Wacken 2019 gives you a taste of her live power. And then if you really want to go into the deep end. "Pit of Consciousness" Live in Kiev. With a very unique song and some of her most devastatingly deepest growls.
Fun reaction, very insightful. Truly special and talented band, if you want more singing try the amazing "Perennial" live at Wacken 2019. The live performance and audio quality are great, the song is a blast, the clean/growl/clean switch is impressive and she pushes the "normal" singing much more than here.

I checked a few pages down and didn't see this so I'll say it. First off as to the bluesy thing, one of Tati's biggest influences is Amy Winehouse (she has a tattoo of Amy). They call their genre Groove Metal. Also this recording was of an old song but they got a new drummer and thought he added a lot to the song so that is why the drummer is so much more the focus than a normal video. Loved that you were honest about what you were expecting. Honesty is the key thing i look to in reactors, so you are definitely one i'll be watching more.

Но для Jinjer нет понятия "невозможно", они ищут пределы, раздвигают границы, именно это, как я понимаю, и заключается в самом понятии "прогрессив". И они делают самый прогрессивный прогрессив, сорри за каламбур. И именно поэтому 50 млн. просмотров у этого ролика и именно поэтому они топ метал группа. Ну и конечно не только прекрасная музыка и основной голос Татьяны, но и чёткий, колорированный и даже где-то мягкий её гроул, тоже делают эту песню балладой. Не знаю кто сможет сделать что-то похожее. Раньше были сборники metal-ballads, а я бы не против сборника metalcore-ballads. Хотя вроде сами Jinjer говорили, что это был эксперимент и они не будут специально штамповать такие мягкие варианты прогрессива (но я считаю что у них это само собой получается, Perennial тому подтверждение). Ещё многие реакторы говорили, как всё в клипе грамотно поставлено: освещение, одежда, макияж, съёмка. Jinjer в одном интервью, не помню кто из них, Евгений кажется, так просто и скромно сказал, мол сняли студию в Киеве на пару часов, кинули гирлянду на пол... В общем я их люблю, они чертовски талантливы. В общем на что реагировать уже накидали... на всё) Начиная с Perennial live и дальше по списку.

You might really like the song "Retrospection" by Jinjer. They start the song in Russian for the first verse. I highly recommend the official video as it has great visuals and the best sound quality in my opinion.

Its in Ukranian not Russian. It's dedicated to the bands parents, who they don't get to see as their parents remained in Donetsk, whilst Jinjer relocated to Kiev to escape the ongoing military conflict.
My bad... the Ukrainian translation is Almost exactly the same... it reads "who cared for you..." where the russian reads "who nursed you..." the rest is exactly the same

I think I'd recommend Teacher teacher official and Perennial LIVE at Wacken 2019. A lot of great songs to discover with Jinjer. Do check out the lyrics, you won't be disappointed.
I agree with you on the lighting. My house is like this and so is my studio!
A band for you to consider is Wishbone Ash and their song The King WIll Come from the album Argus. They are believed to be the first band to use a dual lead guitar and this prog album was released in 1972. I don't believe it has ever been remastered so you have the original compression to about 30 db of headroom but it is still a masterpiece.

for the choice: the first song ;). Next ? perhaps "EPICA - consign to oblivion" (live at Zenith, Paris). a great moment and a wonderfull live (I was in the public :D).
There is not a bad song from JinJer... any you pick will be a surprise. Each song has a unique flavor... wether they mix reggae, hip hop, rhythm and blues, jazz or whatever with rock n' roll and metal.
My recommendation for the next song is Teacher Teacher... enjoy your journey down the rabbit hole 😎

Try Jinjer's Tatiana one take vocal of "Judgement & Punishment". VERY different!!!
As others have said, real good honest reaction video. I think as a vocalist you'll enjoy the judgment and punishment one take vocal performance. And yes, you have to also watch some live vids too which showcase just how tight the band are, and how Tatiana never misses a note and switches effortlessly. For studio productions, 'I speak Astronomy' and 'Teacher Teacher' official videos are absolute belters. The band draw influences from many genres, including blues, prog, reggae and jazz, and Tatiana and the guys are more than capable of melding those grooves into their compositions. Tati draws some inspiration from Gwen Stefani and Amy Winehouse, so you'll defintely hear some pop like delivery at times. For her growls, Otep was her initial inspiration. I'm an old fart who's been listening to metal (and a vast array of other genres) since the early 80's and can say without hesitation that Jinjer are a real stand out act. Oh and if you want to hear a gut wrencher, Jinjer style, listen to 'Home Back'.

I might be late, but as a sound engineer and film maker I would choose the first song ”moonlight” for a video. Especially if the goal is europe or western parts of the globe.

If you want a song with just Tatiana's clean vocals I suggest the song Bad Water, if you want another great mix of Tatiana's vocals then I would suggest pretty much any other song. They are all great. As for which one of your songs I'd vote for, I go for the first one.

3 things about Tatiana:
1. Her "girly" voice is inspired from Gwen Stefani. She loves No Doubt and Gwen. You can hear it in a lot of other songs also.
2. Tatiana writes all text and says, - I'm not going to sing my text in a way that no one can hear them. I have put my heart in to them. That's wy her pronunciation is so good when she growles.
3. She loves Reggie.
Also, I wish that you do a video to the second song. Don't forget to add Close Captions so everybody has the choise to see the lyrics.

I have seen several interesting suggestions for the Jinjer songs. Still, for both deep and intense growl, as well as unbelievably awesome clean vocals, I would suggest "I speak astronomy". There you can actually hear everything she's capable of.
Ups and downs... like the ocean. Hence the name of the song "Pisces" but if you look even deeper, her earrings are fish too.
