@@Nisha.Thaju.Kitchen do we need to season the clay pot with oil even if we are going to use that pot only for cooking non oily foods like boiling dal or boiling rice? Will it not leave the smell of oil while cooking rice?
Hello mam, i have followed all your instructions two years back to season the pot. And still today i am using the pot...with no complaints. Thank you very much.

This is the most informative video about how to use a clay pot I have seen. I've never used a clay pot or known anyone using a clay pot that could teach me how. Thank you for sharing your valuable information to those who need it. This is a great video.
Thank you for the very well narrated and informative video. I just bought a few clay pots and looked through a few videos about seasoning them and I found yours to be more descriptive than the others, not to mention the very well put, step by step process of seasoning it. I believe it couldn't have been any more complete and especially loved that you included when to discard the pot. I wouldn't have fugured that out unless it actually had a hole in it. Well I cant wait to get my pots washed, dried and ready to go. They're just about to get out of the third day of immersion in cooked rice water . Thank you Nisha 🙏
