Thank you , I am I. Remission still thank God. I had Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma in my chest stage 2 1/2. I did check and radiation. Aug. 2020 to Dec. 2020. I follow you but seem to miss alot of your excerises but this one I will remember and do. I have been using sm hula hoops from about 6 months after treatment to get my strength back , I made them myself . They are light weight and work great for rotation. I always fear the cancer will come back but I try to do excerises to help the flow. Thank you .Marla.
I'm going on 5 years out from Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Had a large lymph node removed from left underarm and a large tumor removed from tricep area just above elbow joint. In both of those surgeries, nerves had to be cut so I still have hyper sensitivity to heat and cold and numbness in the underarm and it appears to be permanent. It's a bit difficult to guage whether I'm rubbing too hard or not quite enough pressure because the nerves in that area are all over the place with odd sensations. Am I doing more damage if I am massaging a bit too hard? Also, I would like to hear your opinion on the benefits (or not) of using a rebounder (small trampoline) to help with lymphatic drainage.
I have a few shoulder pads from outdated tops that I can use. Also removable pads from some bras can help me. When I shower I'll run warm water over my armpits while doing the massages you've shown previously. I should be doing the massages through out the day also as you said. I'll begin setting my timer now to remind me. Thank You so much for the information you gave.
Thank you,Kelly, for all your videos. I love your soothing voice. A while back, after my menopause, my breasts got so large that I looked fat even though I was not overweight. I started a ketogenic diet and lost some weight. My breasts started to get smaller in size. However , on my right side, under my armpit, it feels like there's jelly and really looks ugly. Is there a way of draining it and somehow reshaping my breast? Thank you😊
Seems my arm swelling happens frequently in the night. Why is that? What can I do to help stop that from happening? My lymphedema is from having breast surgery/lymph node surgery last year.
Hi, I want to know, I have never been wearing a bra since after surgery on 20th February until now. My surgery is on the breast right side only, and I am not going to do the radiation. So, I need to know your advice on what should I do . Sometimes, when I work , use right hand it pain and feel like swelling and draining like feeling cold inside.
You do such amazing and supportive work! Thank you for that! I'd like to make a request, though, if I may. I don't think I'm alone in this, but I'd love to see you address certain co-morbidities in your videos or a video/video series. Example: I've just been diagnosed with hEDS on top of breast cancer treatment. I don't know if a lot of the advice given to "normal" people can or does apply to me and I can't seem to find local provider help with this. I'm afraid of doing more harm than good but I need to do something so things don't progress in a bad way. Even if we are zebras, there must be others that could benefit? Even addressing hypermobility would be beneficial. Thank you!
